Chapter 21: Possible Evolution

Just before any of us could reply to anything we all saw a system screen in our minds.

Hearing me, Cleria regains her hope as she waits for the system's screen to appear in our minds.

There is a way for Host Cleria to evolve outside of the normal evolution path of her race.

For that, she has to change her race into a High Human-Devil hybrid.

Doing this will open a path for Host Cleria as the Host just evolved to Royal High Human.

According to the calculations, changing into a High Human-Devil hybrid will greatly purify Host Cleria's devil side.

While removing her weakness to the Light element and gaining affinity to the Light and Life element with little to no change in her devil aurora.

She will also gain Mana and Chakra and will be able to control them without using any magic circle or magical formulas.]

On reading the information provided by the system, Cleria started jumping in her place in happiness and she handed over Alashni to Ray and jumped at me and I caught her in a flying hug.

Then Cleria said to me, "Dear, I want to change my race into a High Human-Devil hybrid."

I rubbed her back with my hand as I said, "Okay, I will do that for you but first I have to ask the system about something."

Hearing my question, others also realized that the system has become more talkative.

Then a new system screen appears in our minds.

After that, we asked the system some more questions on possible effects of race changing on Cleria and when we realized that it will not affect Cleria in any negative way I started the process to change Cleria's race into a High Human-Devil hybrid through my party feature by establishing a connection between our souls while maintaining the connection between her and her peerage member.

Now Cleria and I are bonded to each other by our souls, I also did the same with Ray and changed her into a full HIgh Human.

For the next 4 hours, we spar with each other as we become accustomed to our newly found strength.

On checking our status we found out that I have leveled up to 35, Cleria also reached level 37, and Ray reached level 34.

[After dinner, in Ethan's Real House]

After dinner, Cleria, Ray, Alaish and I were sitting in the living room of my real house( the one adjacent to Irina's house) drinking tea as we watched Avengers on TV.

As for how a devil can be in a house next to that of an exorcist, it is because I create a barrier around that house that prevents outsiders from sensing who is inside the house and what is going in there.
