Chapter 19: Experiment

Chapter 19: Experiment

[15th November, XX05]

"Alaish, are you sure it's somewhere here?" I asked Alaish who is standing beside me as we are trying to find her hidden cave in the Snow filled land in Greenland.

"Hm. Yes from what I remember it must be somewhere near here. I am sure about it." Replied Alaish as she tries to remember the location of the cave.

"Huh, if we don't find it fast then the snowstorm will hit this place and we will have to search the whole area again," I said as I looked at the approaching snowstorm.

"Well, it would be difficult as at the time I created the cave I placed a complex magic barrier around it to hide from prying eyes as it contains all of my shaded scales with some of Tiamat's mix in them that she gave me for no reason." Said Alaish as she also looked at the approaching snowstorm.

Now the million-dollar question, where are we and what are we doing?

The answer is simple, we are in the northernmost part of Greenland, searching for Alaish's old cave that she used to store her Shaded scale in before her death.

Cleria and Ray didn't come with us, due to Cleria having to do some important paperwork as the supervisor of Kuoh and Ray is helping her with it.

We are trying to find the cave for the last 3 hours but are unable to find it as Alaish had placed a strong concealing barrier around it in the past that is still active to this date. And the weather is also not helping as a snowstorm is approaching our place where the cave is supposed to be located.

"*Sigh, Okay let me try to find it using my Spatial awareness with multiple shadow clones," I said with a sigh, as it will take a heavy toll on my brain due to controlling so many clones that will be using spatial awareness at the same time.

"Okay, but don't try to push yourself. YOU UNDERSTAND?" Said Alaish emphasizing the last part.

"Yes, yes, I will not try to push myself over my limits. I promise." I said as I raised my hand in the air as I surrendered to her.

"It's good if you do that." Said Alaish as she crossed her arms under her chest as she nodded her head.

"You know, you look very cute when you openly show that you care about me. " I said.

She smiles at my statement as she says, "Well, it's true that I have taken a liking to you and you should be proud about it, as you are the first-ever male in my life that I have such feelings for."

"Then, I will be proud of myself," I said to her with a smile and then created 100 clones and used my Parallel processing to its max while using [Reinforcement Rank S] to reinforce my mind with Mana and Chakra.

Then I took 2 seconds to connect with all of them and started controlling their moments as I arranged them in a circle with us as its center as they were facing outwards.

Then I started using Spatial awareness through each of them as the size of the circle increased as they cover more and more area.

Five minutes later I was panting as the circle was already 500 m in radius and I was having trouble maintaining it while receiving a large amount of information. It was then that I received a reaction from one of my clones in the east.

BY concentrating on that particular clone, I finally found that place. Letting out a sigh I dispersed all of my clones except the one in the east.

With the dispersion of all of my clones, I drop to one knee as I try to regulate my breathing as Alaish supports my body.

After regaining my breath after 2 minutes I look at Alaish who is looking at me with a worried expression on her face, seeing which I felt warm in my heart.

With her help, I stood up on my feet and first gave her a quick peck on her lips and said "It's an apology for me to make you worry and I have found your cave. It's 500 m east from here."

"It's okay, but I want a massage later on as compensation, you hear me?" Said Alaish with a grin on her face with slightly red cheeks.

"Okay, let's go and retrieve your scales for now," I said with a smile and then I picked her up in my arms in a princess carry and used wind manipulation to lift us in the air, and then we started flying towards the east.

In 3 minutes we reached the location where I sensed the reaction and when we landed on the land there, I put Alaish down from my arms and then she put her hands on the land and channel her Dragon force into the land itself and in under 2 seconds a teleportation circle appeared under our feet with a Red Dragon at its center, then it engulfed us and teleported us into a cave that is filled with blue crystals that illuminate the whole cave.

On looking around us, we found ourselves surrounded by piles and piles of Red Dragon scales that vary in tone from light to dark, with a single pile of Blue Dragon scales that also varies in tone from light to dark.

"Huh, it's like a treasure trove, if you can properly make use of it that is," I said as I looked at all these in front of me with sparkling eyes.

Then I collected all the scales present there and put it all in my inventory and then went home with Alaish where I gave her the promised massage.

For the next two days, I experimented with Alaish's & Tiamat's scales, successfully extracted their DNA from them, and started the process to find the part of their DNA that makes their dragon core's.

In just two days I successfully found the DNA code that is responsible for the creation of Dragon Core/Heart and Dragon Force.

The next day, I started an experiment on combining the part of the dragon DNA code that is responsible for Dragon Core/Heart and Dragon Force, into the DNA of a ThunderCat.

Two days later, I performed the ritual to modify the DNA of the Thunder Cat to combine it with the part of the dragon DNA code that is responsible for Dragon Core/Heart and Dragon Force.

As A result of the experiment, the ritual was a success and the Thunder Cat evolved from the Thunder Cat Empress. Its heart has successfully transformed into a Heart Core, a name given by me to the dragon heart/core of non-Dragon races.

Now the cat can use all three energies like Mana, Chakra, and ThunderCat Force but it will need practice, a lot of practice.

After some examination, I found out that its intelligence has considerably increased.

Before the experiment, its consciousness was that of a 3-year-old human kid but after the experiment, its consciousness is now that of a 6-year-old human kid, now it can understand simple sentences.

As for the improvements in its level, Before the experiment, it was level 2 with a length of 0.6 m, but over the course of 3 days after the experiment, it reached level 8 as its body is strengthened by its Heart Core and then it stopped at that for now reaching 1.5 m in height and 2 m in height.

When Cleria found out about the thunder cat, she barged into my lab and started pampering it to the point of giving her a name, now the Thunder Cat is called Aashni, as she is a female. Aashni's name carries with it the meaning "lightning".

In the evening that day Cleria asked me to form a contract Familiar with Aashni, which I happily accepted, and now I have a Thunder Cat Empress as my familiar.
