The next day...

"Congratulations Jake for being chosen by the capital"

"Although you didn't come out as a finalist in the student's contest Viona, you should be proud of being chosen by the capital"

"You don't have to be bumped out Louis, you still came out of the event as a finalist so you should cheer up a little"

At the Academy's entrance, a group of students was seen together as some wore graduation gowns while three peculiar students wore the Academy's regular uniform. Most of the students wearing graduation gowns seem to be cheering for the three students wearing the Academy's uniform while a few other students wearing graduation gowns were seen discussing among themselves.

"Hey look! our principal has arrived with that boy that won the event yesterday"

While being alarmed by what a student shouted, all the students immediately looked up and saw Long and Dave descending together.

Long was seen wearing his regular attire made of white and gold linen along with his wooden sandals. he still had his long gray hair on his head along with his long beard and his short but full eyebrow made him look like a vibrant old man.

Dave was also seen wearing the Academy's normal uniform that perfectly fit his 6 feet figure. He had blue hair that matched his blue eyes packed at the back of his head to form a ponytail. He carried a black colored rectangular luggage as he descended to the ground with Long.

'He is now in Rank C' thought Jake as he stared at Dave solemnly. But the surprising thing is that is not only him who discovered that Dave has advanced in Ranks. Jonah had a surprised expression on his face when he also noticed that Dave has made a breakthrough but he quickly suppressed It when he felt some gazes at him.

"Looks like the four students are here. All that is left is the capital to come and pick you up" said Long as he swept his mental power all over the Academy's entrance.

"Don't worry Mr. Tang, we are already here"

Suddenly an armored tank was seen approaching the students who were at the academy's entrance. After some moments of waiting, the tank finally stopped right in front of Long and his students.

"Are the students ready?" asked Tang who was seen coming out of the passenger seat in the armored tank.

"Yeah, but let me say one last thing," said Long as he faced the four students who had a mixture of solemn and eager expressions on their faces. But unexpectedly, Long only said a short sentence before he approached Dave.

"Bring glory to humanity"

Although they got confused by the short sentence Long made, they simply suppressed it as they all shouted in unison while going into the armored tank.

"Yes, master!!"

"When you get to the capital, try to find Hutton there, he will help you to settle there more quickly," said Long as he tried to arrange Dave's cloth.

'This will make it the third time telling me today' thought Dave as looked at the worried-looking Long sorrowfully. He knew that Long will miss him but there is nothing he could do, the capital has picked his precious disciple for a mysterious job that no one knows except the capital themselves and he doesn't have the power to prevent them from taking him.

"Mr. Long, we don't have all day," said Tang as he looked at Long with an annoyed gaze.

"Oh sorry, you can go now Dave" Long quickly said as he distanced himself from Dave and stood in a dignified manner.

After glancing at Long with a worried look for a few minutes, he suddenly changed his expression into that of resolve as he walked toward the armored tank while thinking.

'Don't worry master, I will shock this world'

Somewhere in Palpart borderlines...

"Yo Roland, how is the patrol team doing?"

"Well, they are doing fine. Nothing unexpected has happened yet"

"Wait don't tell me you think anything unexpected might still happen in this area?"

This conversation is carried out in a big tent that is located in a military zone on the Palpart border. This zone is called the military border barracks. It comprises of small tents which seem to be surrounding the big one.

Two men are located in the big tent as one of them is seated on a chair looking at three monitor screens which show an infer red view of what seems to be six soldiers on the field. While the other man is standing at the back of the one seated while placing his left hand on the other right shoulder. They both wore what seems to be military uniforms that comprises of black and blue color.

"Yes, they taught us in the energy core academy that we should always be prepared for any unexpected situation so that's what am doing Max," said Roland as he glued his eyes on the infer red screen.

But before Max could reply, all the monitors suddenly shut down as an intense earthquake happened.

"What's happening?" asked Roland as he quickly stood up from the chair to stabilize his legs from the sudden earthquake.

"I am having a bad feeling about this. Let's go outside and see" said Max as he quickly went out of the tent alongside Roland.

When they got out of the tent, they saw a large group of soldiers standing on the opposite side of the entrance wearing an ugly expressions. They were energy practitioners that mostly comprises peak Rank D and the initial phase of Rank C.

"What is happening here?" asked Max in a commanding tone while releasing his aura. He was surprisingly in the peak phase of Rank C.

"Sir, please take a look" replied one of the soldiers still with an ugly expression.

Still with that same bad feeling, Max simply looked at the distance along with the other soldiers. But after seeing what is going on in the distance, his expression changed as he cursed aloud.

"Fuck!!"
