She had a bit of trouble with practical classes since she wasn't still at full capacity, but she managed as best as she could. Aria was thankful for all of Joseph's tutoring, she absolutely breezed through the two theory classes she had, and was possible she would be able to take, and pass the exams at the end of this month.
But she had lost her habit of sitting for long periods of time, her buttocks hurt and all her wounds ached by the time she walked to the last class. She had air bending and it was a practical class, so Aria was dreading having to use her fingers, which were scarred and hurt like hell by now. She let out a long suffering breath and plopped down on a chair. "Hey Winchesta." she greeted the student sitting beside her. "Hi Aria. And please call me Winca." the girl replied, pushing her hair out of her eyes.
Aria pressed her mouth into a thin line and didn't say anything. She had never understood people's obsession with making their names sound cool. She didn't have anything against nick-names, they were fine if given and used by other people. But Winchesta, for some reason, insisted on people calling her Winca, though people rarely did. It was as much a mouthful as Winchesta, and didn't even make sense.
But she kept her thoughts to herself and instead said, "It's a practical class right? Who's teaching?" Before Winchesta could open her mouth to reply, a cough behind Aria demanded their attention.
"You are in my seat." Aria turned her head to see a girl with shiny dark silver hair tied into two braids and wearing the same uniform as Helen, the long flowing dress. "Huh? Your seat?" Aria asked, surprised. Sure, she had been missing classes for nearly three months now, but when did the students start acting like brats? "Yes. This seat is mine. It has the perfect view of the teacher, but is still far enough that he won't notice if we slack off a bit. Moreover, it is sufficiently far away from the troublemakers to allow some peace." the girl listed off the qualities on her fingers, looking very pleased with herself. But Aria hadn't really heard it, she had been trying to remember where she knew this girl from? She had noticed her before, that was sure, but where?
"Silver, hey! What's happening?" A boy behind the grey haired girl called out, helping Aria remember. She remembered where she had seen this girl! It was during the first ever fight she had had with Professor Thomas, the first assigning of the rooms! She had been the one to fight just before Aria.
Aria had been preoccupied before the fight, and invalid after, but Silver's unique name and hair had stuck in her subconsciousness. While Aria had been remembering all this, Silver had told the boy what was happening. "Hey why don't you . . . " The boy turned to say something to Aria but his words caught in her throat as he saw who she was. His eyes stayed at her face for a few seconds before involuntarily going to Aria's hands. She was wearing the white shirt of her uniform. but her palms and fingers were still bare.
