Battle Training!

When Dante woke up the next day in his new bedroom, it took him a couple of seconds to remember where he was and what happened the day prior.

"Ah, that's right, I'm in Yuei, and today is our second day of school..."

Dante had to admit that although he made sure to not show it, yesterday was a pretty exciting day for him. Being able to see and talk with the different members of the famous 1-A class in the flesh was like a dream coming true for him, and it took him all his willpower to not go up to them and stare at them like a creepy otaku.

"As I thought, Tsuyu-chan is even cuter in real life, and Momo is even more beautiful... Aaaaah, I need a waifu!"

After he was done joking around, Dante quickly took a shower, brushed his teeth, and then went downstairs to make his breakfast, where he found Ren already cooking for everybody.

"Yo, Dante! Breakfast will be ready in no time, just sit down and wait a bit."

"Hi, and thanks, Ren. Are you the only one who woke up?"

"Nah, Kioko is still taking a shower, you know her."

"What about the other idiot?"

"Still sleeping."

"I see... Well, let me help you, it's better than doing nothing."

"Alright, thanks!"

With Dante's help, Ren was able to finish cooking before Kioko was done taking her shower and Hayato had woken up. After Ren went up to inform them that breakfast was ready, all the little group gathered in the dining room to eat.

Thirty minutes later, Dante and his friends were done eating, when Hayato saw that, he finally asked a question he had in mind since he woke up.

"So, any idea on how this hero class thing will work?"

Hayato's question only made Kioko roll her eyes.

"You would already know if you took the time to read the curriculum sheets Aizawa gave us."

"Ah come on, you know I don't like that kind of stuff, plus, why would I read these if you guys are here to give me the resume anyway?"

Already accustomed to Hayato's laziness, Ren only shook his head.

"General studies in the morning, hero studies in the afternoon."

"Oh! Thanks! I wonder what the hero class will be like, and who will be our sensei..."

"Well, who our sensei is doesn't really matter, we know ourselves better than anybody and we don't really need someone to tell us what to do or what to work on."

"That's also true, but still, I'm curious to know who it's gonna be."

Now that they were done eating, Dante and the rest quickly got ready and then left the dormitory in direction of their class. Since their dormitory was only a couple of minutes away from the school building, the little group was able to reach their class way before the start of the class. When they arrived, Dante and his friends realized that some of their classmates were already there.

"Oh! Good morning Yamada!"

"Yo, Kirishima, you got here early! Oh, and please call me Hayato."

"Alright Hayato, you can call me Eijiro too then!"

Because of Dante and his friends' existence, Koji Koda, Toru Hagakure, and Yuga Aoyama were not in class 1-A. When it came to their seats, Hayato happened to be sitting where Koji Koda was supposed to be, behind Kirishima and in front of Rikido Sato.

"By the way, Hayato, did you hear the rumors about All Might?"

Hearing Kirishima's question, Hayato answered.

"The one who says he is a teacher here?"

"Yeah, that one!"

"Then yeah, I'm aware. Why?"

"Do you think it's true?"

"Mm, yeah, I'm pretty sure it's true."

"Me too! Aaah! I can't wait to see All Might! I mean, it's All Might!"

As the two boys were discussing, more and more students started to arrive, and soon the first class began, an English class animated by Present Mic.

After the last morning class, the students were given a couple of hours to eat high-quality food in the school cafeteria, everything prepared by the Cook Hero, Lunch Rush. After they picked their food, Dante and his friends picked a table and sat down to eat.

"Today is curry!"

Seeing Hayato's excited face, Dante smiled before noticing that a group of people he was familiar with was coming towards them.

"Mm, excuse me, is it okay for us to sit down with you guys?"

When Kioko saw that it was Midoriya, Uraraka, and Ida, she smiled and nodded.

"Thank you!"

After that, all the kids were able to share a good meal and learn more about each other.

"Eeeeeh, so you three are orphans from the same orphanage?"

When Midoriya learned that Kioko and the rest were all orphans, he was quite surprised.

"Mm, we all come from the Aichi Prefecture."

The moment Ren said those words, it attracted the attention of someone eating at the table next to them.

"You all are from the Aichi Prefecture? What a coincidence, me too!"

When Ren looked toward the source of the voice, his eyes met those of another person they were familiar with.

"You also come from Aichi, Yaoyorozu-san?"

"Indeed, what a surprise!"

It was at that moment that another voice joined the conversation.

"I come from Aichi too."

"Eh? You too Asui-san?"

"Yes, and please, call me Tsuyu, Yaoyorozu-san."

And just like that, lunchtime ended up being a bonding moment for some students of class 1-A. During their little discussion, Kioko, Ren, and Hayato learned more things about their classmates, making their time in Yuei a bit less boring.

"I AM HERE!!!... through the door like a normal person!!!"

"Waaaah! It's All Might!!"

"I can't believe All Might is really gonna be teaching us!"

"Look! That's his Silver Age costume!"

After they were done with their lunch, it was time for the 1-A class students to finally have their first hero training exercise, and it would be with none other than Japan's number 1 hero, The Symbol of Peace, All Might!

When All Might saw that the students were ready to listen, he finally explained to them what this class was all about.

"Welcome to the hero foundational studies! For this class, we will be building up your hero foundation through various trials.

Let's not waste any more time and jump right in with this! The trial of battle!!"

"And to go with your first battle... We have prepared the gear we had you send in requests for to match your quirks!"

Battle gear, also called hero costumes. Pro heroes and hero course students alike often donned specific battle wear to fight and strengthen their quirks. Hero costumes were often equipped with gear to help pro heroes do their jobs more effectively, reducing risk to themselves while increasing their efficiency. They also helped the public recognize them and distinguish themselves from other heroes. Costume designs could vary on a wide scale, including simple costumes, bodysuits, skinsuits, spacesuits, sets of armor, and various other outfits depending on the quirk functions and style preferences of the wearer. Support companies and genius scientists were the masterminds behind creating costumes for heroes.

"Get changed and we will be ready to go! When you are done, come and find me at grounds Beta! The garb you bring to the battlefield is vitally important!

And don't forget, from here on out, you are all heroes!!

All right! Let's see what you are made of, you embryos!!"

Twenty minutes later, all the students were done changing and had joined All Might at grounds Beta in their new hero costumes.

When Hayato saw Dante's costume, he couldn't help but ask him.

"Mm? Your hero costume is pretty simple Dante, are you sure you want to go with that?"

"You are the one to talk... Plus, I have always liked simple things, and I see no reasons to change that."

Dante's costume was pretty simple if it could be called a costume at all. Since he wasn't a fan of skin-tight costumes or anything overcomplicated, Dante simply decided his costume to be a black shirt with black pants and a long black coat.

In the same spirit, Kioko's costume was also a simple long-sleeved black shirt, with a black skirt, a pair of black leggings, and some black shinobi boots.

Hayato's costume was even more simple than his two friends' and looked more like a normal outfit rather than a hero costume. Hayato's costume was a simple black hooded t-shirt, black shorts, a pair of white padded elbow forearm sleeves, and some black shinobi boots.

Finally, Ren's costume was probably the only one of the group that looked like a real hero costume, it was a black skin-tight body suit with a blue lightning bolt drawn on the chest, finished with a blue cape draped on Ren's shoulders and black boots.

When Dante saw his friends in their new costumes, he added.

"Remember that our costumes are different from the others, they are tied to ourselves and can be equipped or unequipped with a simple thought. Just to make them actually useful, I have taken the liberty to give them the ability to boost your overall capabilities a little bit, and they are bulletproof."

Unlike the other students, Dante and his friends' "costumes" were actually all created by Dante himself. By using his powers, he managed to create costumes that although they looked normal, could actually boost the abilities of their holders a little bit: stamina, strength, speed, defense, and agility... truly something impossible to do for anybody else.

When All Might saw that all the students were ready, he then went on and explained what the battle training was.

"I like your styles, youngsters, very cool!

For today's battle training exercise, you will all be separated into groups of heroes and villains for a three-on-three team battle!

Villain clean-up is usually seen out in the open, but statistically, most acts of villainy are committed indoors."

Seeing that the students were able to follow him, All Might continued.

"For this training, we will have some 'villains' guard a nuclear weapon they intend on deploying. The heroes' job will be to stop them and their nefarious scheme before it's too late.

If the heroes capture the villains or get their hands on the nuclear core before the time runs out, then they win. If the villains manage to protect the core until the time runs out or if they manage to capture the heroes, then they win.

Your teammates and opponents will be chosen by lottery. Are there any questions?"

"..."

"Good."

Seeing that there were no questions, All Might quickly took two baskets, and asked the students to pick a ball that would determine in which group they would be.

Here were the results:

A: Izuku Midoriya, Ochako Uraraka, Hayato Yamada.

B: Shoto Todoroki, Mezo Shoji, Mashirao Ojiro.

C: Katsuki Bakugo, Tenya Ida, Kyoka Jiro

D: Minoru Mineta, Momo Yaoyorozu, Kioko Musashi.

E: Ashido Mina, Fumikage Tokoyami, Dante Kuroda.

F: Eijiro Kirishima, Hanta Sero, Ren Tanaka.

G: Denki Kaminari, Rikido Sato, Tsuyu Asui.

After everybody knew which team they were on, All Might was finally able to start the drawing process that would determine which teams would start.

"And the first two trios to fight are... Team A as the heroes, team C as the villains!"

When Hayato heard that he would start first, he quickly turned toward Dante.

"Do you want me to check something while I'm in there?"

To that, Dante simply answered...

"No, just don't go too hard on the kids."

"Don't worry haha."

When the two teams were ready, All Might explained to them how the training would go.

"The scenario has the villains inside the building first, and the heroes will only be allowed to enter the building five minutes later. Everyone else will be able to watch what unfolds through the surveillance cameras.

Finally, remember that this is a practical training exercise, so go all out without fear of injury... Though naturally, we will cut it short if things get out of hand."

After All Might was done explaining the rules, team C went first into the building and was given five minutes to prepare while team A was waiting outside of the building.

"Yamada-kun, Uraraka-san, I think that to perform to the best of our abilities, we should tell each other what we are capable of... what do you think?"

When Uararaka heard Midoriya, she quickly agreed.

"You are right!"

While Hayato didn't really care.

"I don't mind."

Hearing them, Midoriya sighed in relief and then went on to explain his quirk.

"Then I will start. My quirk allows me to generate a big amount of power, but I can't control it yet so every time I use it will end up with me hurting myself."

After Midoriya, it was Uraraka's turn.

"My quirk allows me to nullify the effects of gravity on anything that I touch. Although I'm not good in combat, my quirk is good when it comes to restraining people."

When Uraraka was done, both she and Midoriya turned towards Hayato who simply said.

"I'm strong, fast and I excel in close-quarter combat."

"A physical boosting quirk? I see..."

"I thought your quirk only granted you super speed, that's cool! "

When Hayato heard Uraraka saying that she thought his power was super speed, Hayato simply laughed. Just as he was about to say something, All Might's voice resounded in their ears.

"START!!!"

When they heard the signal, the hero team didn't waste any time and jumped right into the building with Midoriya taking command.

"Let's go! Yamada-kun, you take the rear! Uraraka-san, you stay in the middle!"

"Mm!"

"If you say so..."

As they were exploring the inside of the building, Hayato had already activated his haki and had already found the villain camp.

'Mm? The prideful kid is coming straight toward us? And without taking any unnecessary detour at that...'

When Hayato felt that, he quickly understood that one person on the other team could detect their movements.

'It's clearly not Bakugo, nor is it Ida, that means it can only be that girl... what was her name again? Jiro?'

After confirming that Bakugo was indeed coming straight toward them, Hayato quickly informed his teammates.

"Um, someone is coming straight toward us, he is pretty fast... and angry."

When Midoriya heard that, he quickly asked Hayato while maintaining his calm.

"You can feel other people's presence?"

"Yeah, sort of... So what do we do?"

Faced with this situation, Uraraka quickly turned toward Deku, her eyes clearly asking for instruction. When Hayato saw that, he secretly shook his head.

'It's only our first real hero training but she is already relying on someone else...'

After Midoriya was done thinking, he replied.

"It's probably Katchan... he is coming for me."

Midoriya took a quick pause to calm down and then continued.

"The fact that Katachan is coming to us so fast can only mean that someone on the other team can pinpoint our location, and by a process of elimination, that person can only be Jiro-san."

To Midoriya's assessment of the situation, Hayato nodded in appreciation.

'That kid ain't dumb.'

Midoriya then said.

"Hiding is useless since they can know where we are, we can only attack from the front and fight it out."

When Uraraka heard that, she quickly said.

"But fighting isn't my thing, I won't be able to help you guys much..."

Seeing Uraraka's downtrodden, Midoriya quickly said.

"I don't think so Uraraka-san, it's quite the opposite actually!"

"What do you mean?"

"Ida san and the others already know the nature of your ability, so they will be cautious of you, which will inevitably create some openings for us... And if we can capitalize on them, then you can use your quirk and completely put them out of the fight."

"I... I see... Alright, I will do my best!"

After Midoriya managed to help his teammate find her confidence back, Hayato then asked.

"Alright, but what do we do about Bakugo?"

Midoriya answered Hayato with a question of his own.

"Yamada-kun, is Katchan alone?"

"Yep, he is all alone."

"I see, that's just like him... Then I will take care of him."

Seeing the determination in Midoriya's eyes, Hayato asked.

"Are you sure? Honestly, I don't think you can win you know..."

"I know, with my poor control over my quirk, I will be basically fighting him as a normal person, but... I won't lose! Plus, the goal isn't to defeat him, it's to keep him occupied, that way, you and Uraraka-san can take care of the other two villains!"

Seeing that Midoriya wouldn't back down, Hayato simply nodded before looking at the end of the corridor they were in.

"Here he comes."

The moment Hayato said that both Midoriya and Uraraka turned just in time to see Bakugo explode out of the corner, his eyes blazing into life the moment he saw Midoriya.

"Found you... DEKU!!!!!"

BOOM!!

Seeing Bakugo explode his way toward them, Midoriya quickly said.

"Yamada-kun! Uraraka-san! Go! I will take care of him!"

"Alright! Be careful Deku-kun!"

"Have fun."

Without wasting any more time, Hayato and Uraraka quickly left, while Midoriya turned and prepared to fight the boy who bullied him numerous times over the years...

"I won't lose!"

To Midoriya's determination, Bakugo's answer was simple.

"DIE!!!!"

Hello guys, I just wanted to notify you that I realized that I still haven't shown properly what all my characters look like, so I will use this note to do it, plus, I also need to tell you that I want to change Ren's appearance (just a change of hair color, he goes from blue to silver), so here is what they all look like.
