"Nope, they have a similar aura that resembles you. We gods have the power to see this aura."

"Is that how you realised that James is a puppet of the demon lord's commandor?"

"Well, yes and no. It was way more complex than just being able to snese and see aura. That is one of my powers which i cannot reveal."

"What? you don't trust me or something?"

"Well on the contrary i don't but at the same time that's not really the reason why I'm not revealing it."

I'm not particularly upset, rather im a bit sad that she doesn't trust me but i can understand.

At instances between class i kept stealing glances at Rose and Isabel but they seemed pretty normal.

It was probably just a misunderstanding anyway.

Anyway i should think about what i need to do about today's raid.

Me and ariel will be going together to kill the monsters.

Class had ended and i left before Ariel while she was chatting with her

While walking back towards the main gate i was thinking about something that didn't make sense.

i don't understood, why does nobody remember James?

That doesn't make any sense, he was the mostvpopular guy in school and now nobody was talking about him.

It might be because they think he didn't show up today but what if Ariel did something, does she have the power to do something like that?

i wanna ask, if only she shows up quickly.

Oh well, it's good that she's making friends. She always seems a tad bit cold whenever she's talking to me but she's always cheerful whrn talking to others.

So it's nice seeing her being cheerful. I wonder why people always hate me when i haven't even done anything.

Well not that i care anymore. Now that i have stuff i can preoccupy my mind with, all this worldly filth doesn't concern me.

I was walking back home alone and after walking for about 10 mins, Ariel showed up.

"Finally cought up, why do you always leave so early?"

"Well, isn't that obvious?"

"Ooh, i forgot you have no friends except me."

Is that possible? Did she just say we are friends. Isn't she like a goddess and i am but a mere human.

"We were friends?"

i said bluntly, it came out of my mouth before i could think properly.

She frowned a bit when i saod that

"What? You never thought of me as a friend."

"Wait, that's not it. I never really thought you considered me a friend, i mean you are a god and i'm but a mere human, i mean even humans look down on me."

"Hey, just because some humans look down on you doesn't mean i will. I know you nore than those fools anyway."

"I don't think i'm that different from what people think i am."

"If you think that, you don't know what thise people really think of you."

"Is it really worst from what i think?"

That bad haa, just what do those people think i am anyway.

"Anyway, i wanted to ask. Why don't people remember James anymore. Or is it just that they don't care since they just think he didn't show up."

I was hoping she'd say that they just didn't care but what i heard sent shivers down my spine.

"No If someone dies in the dungeon, they are forgotten."

"What?"

"Precisely, a death in that means not just the end of their life but yhe end of their entire existance. It'll be wiped out."

"How is that possible."

"I can't get into specifications but that's the Gist of it."

"Damn, you really cut short the explanation Don't you."

"Well that's how I am. Anyway, we will be going to a raid today at 7 again so you'd better be prepared."

"Yaa I will. Now that I habe this spear, i'm pretty much invincible aren't I."

"I mean yes you are, but the power you used before was not even 1% of the actual output."

"Are you serious? I took out one of the puppets of the demon commandors you know."

"Well, you'll have to face almost 100 more of them before you reach the demon commandor, who is about a million times more powerful than sorry excuse."

There's no way that someone is a million times more powerful than that guy right?"

So I instantly had a thought

"So, like how many of these demon commandors are there?"

"About 10 of them, you'll meet one by taking out 10% of the monsters population which is reciding in these dungeons."

"There are really 5 of them? And just how much stronger is the demon lord's?"

"That's a tough question, just how powerful do you think she is? She aas able to almost annihilate the 7 heroes of light and if it weren't for the sacrificial seal, she would have easily defeated the 7."

I asked a bit hesitantly.

"Just how strong is one of the 7 gods?"

"Well, alone they would be just as powerful as a commandor and if they were a single person with all their powers combined than they could probably take 7 of the demon lords easily."

"Seriously? Than how did they have such a problem with taking down that women than?"

"Well, they were disoriented, if I had to say. Because of the fight they had they were still having a hard time trusting each other."

"How is that possible? Wasn't the misunderstanding sorted out."

Yes, it was sorted out after the goddess of darkness. The demon lord had shown herself when she almost stabbed the goddess of electricity?

This should have solved their trust issues right.

"Well it's easier said than done. The moment they realised that she was dead, they blamed each ither and shit talked each other so what do you think will happen among them?"

So that's why

"They'd end up spitting all the bad stuff they thought about each other which would result in an internal conflict."

"Precisely and because of that they couldn't fight the demon lord's Well, because they were disoriented. At they end they managed to bring up the spell out of sheer desperation and managed to seal her away."

This makes perfect sense now, I was wondering how they managed to trust each other while casting the spell.

Turns out rather than trust it was sheer desperation that drove them to cooperate during the sealing ritual or process.

After going home and fleshing up we both came to the location and it was 7 right now.

As the time was nearing for us to go inside someone called from behind.

"So why did you call us here?"

"Ara, you don't have to be so cold miss rose. He was one of your friends right?"

"Shut up Charlotte you Don't have to act like a teacher anymore, it's work time afterall."

What stood there were 3 figures

Rose, Miss Charlotte and Isabel.

I instantly looked at Areil and the response I got form ariel was
