Building a Guild in a Fiction World using my Gamer System

Waking up in a fictional world where different movies combined to form a gigantic world of a sort. How would an ordinary guy become the strongest entity? By building a guild, of course. This is a harem novel so before anyone complains, I'll just put it out there. The harem isn't that large and is slow going. Movies include: Marvel, DC, John Wick, Fast and Furious Saga and so on.

Miami

It was blazing summer, and here he was in Miami.

Bruce never really liked summer, neither in his previous life nor in this. In fact, he prayed every day hoping the system would give him a heat-resisting skill.

Getting off from the airport, a car was already ready for him in the parking lot. The car was quite the beauty and even for someone like Bruce who didn't have that big of a thing for cars like other dudes, he could tell exactly what car it was.

Ferrari 458 Italia, one of the few cars that had caught his attention. It was his dream car from when he was a kid, and watching some rich asshole drive around in this thing had always made him feel jealous.

But now he was that rich asshole and he had no shame in it. After all, even in this world, it was a newer model. With a wide smile on his face, he hopped in the car that was fixed by none other than the notorious cyberterrorist Cipher.

Dealing with Cipher was a pain in the ass. Bruce was a hundred percent certain that this Cipher was the same as the fast and furious franchise, but with this world being different, it was clear that she was just starting with increasing her influence in the underworld.

He wasn't sure how closely she was associated with the High Table, but it seems that she has something on them that would be enough for her to get Bruce off scot-free.

Gaining freedom from the continental and High Table was a bit annoying, to say the least. He couldn't just walk out like John Wick who had really high reputation in the underworld but even Wick had to do the impossible to get out of the business.

And here he was, a nobody with no connection, a freelancer. The garnered attention was biting him in the ass regardless of the rewards associated with it. A good assassin with no affiliation was a dead assassin.

In the economy of murder, people weren't so easygoing. They were afraid someone might come back for revenge and some just wanted to kill because they got offended by their rejection.

Sure he could run away and come back when he was stronger, but having sworn fealty to the high table things weren't so simple.

Living a life with always having to look behind his back wasn't a life worth living. So he wanted to solve this as peacefully as he could.

Gaining his freedom, meant leaving the life of the underworld behind. He wouldn't be able to continue his work as a freelancer and no more easy access to quests, but he was okay with it.

Quest and experience were one thing but making a living off of killing people was another, if he continued on this path he was sure that there might come a time where he would have to kill someone innocent. And then there would truly be no going back for him.

Leaving this line of work was something he had been thinking about for quite some time now and now that an opportunity had presented himself, he was going to take it. Maybe with this, he would finally be at peace with himself and find the purpose that he was looking for.

So Cipher was a necessary evil, at least for him. As for what villainous plan she had in mind for him, he didn't care. The moment he killed his first victim the path of being a good man wasn't there for him anymore.

He would do her job and if she possessed a danger to him in the future, he would take her down. It was a simple but effective plan.

It was hard trusting a manipulating psychopath like her but considering the fact that she had some future plans for him, there was a possibility that she would remain true to her words. But in case she didn't, he had to come up with a backup plan.

"Well, at least one good thing came out of it," Bruce said to himself as he looked at the screen in front of him.

"Quest: Complete Cipher's mission."

Condition for the quest to be completed:

# Steal the Hard Drive

# Kill Carter Verone

# Kill all the members of his organization.

Rewards: 10000 exp; a primary magic skill

The mission Cipher gave him had turned into a quest, and the one thing that made him excited aside from the exp was the primary magic skill. He could finally use magic, something he had wanted for a long time.

A trump card no one would expect from a normal human being.

After leveling up to 10, he was granted a magic core which allowed him to use magic. His body didn't feel any different and he was sure there wasn't a new organ in his body but the core was now within him.

After the core was established he was greeted with a message, that had asked him to choose a primary and a secondary element.

The options were mainly from what you would expect, Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind.

The primary element he chooses would give him high proficiency with the element and the secondary would give him a decent proficiency with the second element he chooses.

And all of his magic ability would be related to those two elements and would give his body constitution related to those elements so he had to be very careful in picking them, in fact, it was the reason why he still hadn't picked one.

With his personality and fighting style, the most efficient one seemed to be Fire for attack power and Earth for defending.

Even if he was an assassin, he wasn't the whole ninja type. He was more of a guns-blazing type of guy except for the times he had to do recon, but that wasn't a job that would come by easily. After all, the job of an assassin was to kill.

But both Wind and Water were good elements too and had their own benefits, so he couldn't disregard them either. So he decided to take his time before settling after all he needed to complete the quest first to even get the ability.
