Suki

Bruce drove into the gas station and began filling his tank.

He used to wonder why all those novels he would read had never mentioned everyday normal stuff about the characters. It was always action after another, but now he knew why. It was boring.

He was a man with a legendary system, with the strength to take down smaller gangs by himself, filled with potential, and here he was filling up gas awkwardly. He was still wearing his bulletproof suit under the blazing summer heat, making him wish he was dead.

At least, he was beside a Ferrari.

As Bruce was trying to make sense of his awkwardness, a sports car followed by a jeep drove into the gas station. The thing that made them stand out was that their cars were all pink and they were all girls.

The girls on the jeep began whistling at him with a teasing smile hanging by their faces as they waved at him and began catcalling him.

Bruce who had the charmer skill was certainly a head-turner. With exceptionally good looks, tall height, and well-built muscle he was quite good to look at. Especially when he was wearing a suit and was standing beside a Ferrari, he was at the height of being charming.

Bruce waved back at them with a slight smile, they were certainly hot but they weren't quite his type, but all that thought went away when the girl from the pink Honda got out.

The girl had a short skirt on followed by a crop-top, with her long legs and her Asian look, Bruce couldn't help but look twice as she was exactly his type. For the first time in quite a while, he felt attracted to a woman properly.

Noticing his gaze, she turned around to look at him.

Her eyes didn't take a long time to shift from him to his car as she walked up to him.

"You new in town?" She asked swiftly sliding her hands across his car, "It's quite a baby you got here."

"I can say the same with you," Bruce said looking at her car, before turning back to her again as he extended his hand, "Bruce."

"Suki." The girl shook his hand, "So what are you doing out here, pretty boy?"

"I am here for a job," Bruce said not minding her rough attitude which was kinda attractive to him. Not in a masochistic way but rather he just liked girls with confidence and personality.

"Modeling or acting?" She asked nonchalantly as her gaze still shifted from his car to him time and time again, "Or is it like an office job."

"I'll leave that up to your guess," Bruce said with a slight smile as he leaned on his car slightly, "I am new in Miami and you seem to be familiar with this place, so how about we go on a little date and you can show me around."

Bruce who was a bit of a loner in his past life and a killer in this one certainly wasn't used to flirting. If not for his looks, he doubted he would get any attention from the opposite gender.

Not that it was a good thing in his line of work, with most of his female 'colleagues' being assassins who wouldn't hesitate even a second before putting a bullet in his head.

It was as Perkins said, raw and in the heat moment kind of sex suited people like them the best. But he wasn't a complete monster like them yet so he preferred something real.

Suki chuckled a little as she looked back at him, "I can see where this is going but I like a man who can be a bit daring so how about a race?"

'She definitely wants my car.' Bruce who was amused with the girl couldn't help but smile. But the more interesting thing was the group of people who pulled outside the gas station.

They were armed and with him and the girls being the only people in the gas station, it was easy to guess who they were aiming for. He was a stranger and no one needed a group of people to rob a gas station. So the target was likely the girl, in front of him.

"That's an interesting proposal," Bruce said keeping a straight face,

"Let's race for pink slips then, if you win I go on a date with you and you get my car, and if I win I get your car and maybe I'll go on a date with you," Suki said with a confident smile,

"So it's all about a car then," Bruce chuckled as he walked over to her pulling her close to him by her hand, "So the date still happens regardless."

"As long as you won't be a sourpuss about losing your car," Suki said closing the distance between them even further,

"That's assuring to know," Bruce said as he leaned over to her ears whispering, "But it seems we have to postpone our race for a while. 8'o clock,"

Suki slightly looked over in the direction he told her to as she couldn't help but frown,

"Some sourpuss that lost?" Bruce asked slightly amused as he continued to whisper, "They seem to be armed and they're definitely out to get you. There are four men guarding to make sure you won't escape, so what are you going to do?"

Suki turned back towards him as she wrapped her arms around his neck, "We should certainly race but not today, how about a rain check?"

"Sure," Bruce said simply,

"You should get out of here," Suki said letting go of him as she turned to face the man that was walking towards them,
