Nightwolf.

Once Bedeila and her father finished feeding the wolves they sat in the living room looking at the news to wait for the reaction to her actions. Connor seemed to be on the edge of his seat while his tail excitedly wagged behind him.

"You excited baby girl? You're going to be famous already."

"No."

He snorted as he could see her tail wagging widely behind her just like his.

"Liar, the tail does not lie."

Her ears perked up when she saw the news anchor start.

"SHH, it's starting."

Connor stopped as he waited for what they had to say about his daughter. The news anchor cleared his voice as he went over the Sludge Villain attack.

"Earlier today a Villain attacked a young man trying to take control of his body. The villain in question had been on the run from All Might who has been hunting him down, but today those days are over. The number three hero Nightwolf intervened and saved the unfortunate young man who was attacked. However, he did not deal with the villain personally. It seems his daughter did and we recover this footage from a civilian at the sight."

They replayed the scene where Connor and Bedeila stopped the Sludge Villain. They slowed it down many times as they moved faster than the eye could see. Connor moved in and ripped out Bakugo and Midoriya just as Bedeila jumped above the villain.

They saw in slow motion as her green flames blasted down and incinerated the villain to just a tiny chared puddle. They zoomed in on her face and they could see a lack of care in her bright green eyes.

Connor howled to the sky causing the 10 wolves around them to howl as well. When the recording ended the news anchor explained the aftermath.

"Following this, the Sludge Villain was captured by All Might who showed up at the scene after Nightwolf and his daughter left. Both boys were treated for their injuries, but the Sludge Villain is in intensive care. Over 90% of his body was carbonized and he is not healing. It is possible he might die from his wounds."

Bedeila's tail wagged a little faster as she liked the sound of that. The news anchor then looked at the camera with a judgemental look on his face.

"This incident is now being investigated by the police. Chief Kenji Tsuragamae is joining us today to give his opinion. Tell us, what do you think of this incident."

The screen split in half to show the Chief of police making Connor and Bedila tilt their heads. They said the same thing at the same time.

"A dog?"

"Thank you for having me today. What we saw was Nightwolf acting as he normally does. He is not known for being merciful and the villains he fights all end up crippled. He is famous and accepted for this as no one dares stop him. However, his daughter is a different story. She used her quirk on a Villain without a license. We will be treating this very seriously and it is possible we will charge her with this crime."

Connor picked up his special government issue phone that heroes were given. He called the news station and they picked up his call nearly instantly.

"Sir Nightwolf, what c-"

"Patch me into the news station now."

The woman who answered gulped and agreed.

"Yes sir."

Soon the screen was split in three as Connor's face showed up in the face time call. Many people knew that Renji had pissed off Connor. Very few people had the stones to call out one of the top 3 heroes who had high status.

"Kenji, you will do no such thing. My daughter does have a license, it's called me."

Bedeila snorted in the background as she jumped on his shoulder to look. When Kenji saw Bedeila he spoke to her while ignoring Connor.

"You went too far and nearly killed him. It is possible that he won't make it, if he dies you might be charged with a crime."

She shook her head.

"Then it is the fault of the police and doctors. I only captured him so the rest falls on you guys."

Renji frowned at her words.

"Even then, if he makes it he is crippled for life."

Bedeila shrugged.

"One less villain for the streets. I did the job you can't do. I am not All Face, I am going to inherit my dad's mantle and do his work. That is all there is to it."

Renji frowned as he saw zero hesitation in her words. He looked at Connor with a judgemental look.

"Raising your daughter with this mentality can't be healthy. I question how good a father you are."

That seemed to have set off not Connor, but Bedeila. Her father had raised her since she was 10 by himself when her mother died. Even before then he was the best dad she could have asked for.

"Shut your mouth you inferior mutt. My father is the best there is so don't you dare insult him."

Fire was raging in her eyes making Connor smile.

"I didn't raise her with that mentality. It's hereditary and a result of our quirk. We have the ferocity of wolves and a dog like you would not understand. Just for the record, my daughter will be going to U.A in 9 months. Once she is in, I will retire."

Hearing that made the news Anchor and the people watching were shocked. It was too early and Connor was only 32. A hero as strong as him had never retired that young and losing him would be a blow to Japan's heroes.

"But sir, retiring at this time will embolden villains. You, Endeavor and All Might are the pillars of this country. Losing even one of you will create chaos."

Connor shrugged.

"So what? I did my part so now it is time for the other heroes to pick up the slack. I have made enough money to live the rest of my life so I will just train my daughter to replace me. She is the best of my wife and me after all."

Connor looked at his daughter who was sitting on his shoulder. As for All Might who had decided to give his quirk to Midoriya grit his teeth.

"That sly wolf. By retiring, he is guaranteeing his daughter entry into U.A no matter her reputation. Her actions with the Sludge Villain might have rejected her, but this way we are forced to take her. He is not just brawn and muscle."

Nezu looked at his phone as he got the message as well. He was going to take her anyway, but now he was forced to. He had to make a phone call to Connor to maybe get him to change his mind.

Endeavor was replaying the footage of when she used her flames as those flames were powerful. He thought he was the only one with the perfect child-like Shoto, but it seemed Connor had his own. Bedeila was both extremely strong and had her mother's fire.

No one seemed to know that the flames we used on the Sludge Villain were only her base-level flames. That was something only her father knew about as she kept that as a trump card.

Connor smiled as he was about to hang up.

"For the next 9 months, I will work as hard as possible. I will take as many villains off the street for good before I retire. Remember villains, the Symbol of Terror won't be me, it will be my daughter. The name Nightwolf is hers."

He hung up as he knew he just set off some chaos. Bedeila got off his shoulder as she gave him a tight hug.

"What's wrong?"

He hugged her back as she looked up at him with her green eyes.

"You're giving me your name? Mom gave you that name."

Connor nodded.

"It was her last wish. She told me that when I retired to give you my hero name. Bring those villains just as much terror as we did. She and I trained you since your quirk activated and these 9 months will be even more extreme. You ready."

She nodded as she was ready, but he broke that concentration with his next words.

"Have you been brushing your tail? I can see some mats in it."

She shook her head as she sat next to him.

"I forgot."

He sighed as he got a brush. He placed her long tail on his lap as he started to brush it.

"I swear. You need to take care of your fur. You only have your tail to deal with while I got a whole body to deal with. I normally go to get it professionally done once a week. Why did you forget"

"I was busy."

"More like lazy."

He did not mind it as it reminded him of when he had to brush her hair and fur when she was little.

"I don't mind it. I and your mother had to brush you since you were born. The fire only came to be an issue when you turned 4."

The more he rushed her black tail the harder it was for her to stay awake. More and more loose fur got stuck in the brush and soon it was back to its flawless state.

"Done. What do you think?"

He noticed she had already gone limp as she slept. He sighed as he looked at the gas mask. He ran his finger on it as she had been wearing it since she was 4. She could only take it off for short periods as her fire would build up in her body.

She was totally immune to fire, but the issue was she could only stockpile so much. Her body reached its maximum, it blast forth in a inferno.

She had at best 10 minutes before her body reached its limit. One thing was that the stronger her body became the higher the limit became. When she was little it was harder on her, but these days she loved the mask.

'Shit, she forgot to brush her teeth. I will-"

He was about to wake her up, but he could not bring himself to do it.

'Fine.'

He looked at the wolves who were looking at Bedeila with care.

"Come on, let's leave her alone."

The wolves all went outside the front door through the doggy door. Connor went back to his room while Bedeila slept. Her dad always woke up at 5 in the morning and she did the same. When they woke up she cursed.

'My teeth.'

Her dad went down the stairs in a black riot suit. It was his hero suit which was mostly just repurposed military gear.

"Alright, so I am off to hunt crime. You can go to school or don't. The principal does not care as you were top of your class for everything. What will you do?"

She thought about it as she popped her neck.

"I won't go. I took my tests early and I pretty much graduated."

He spread his arms wide.

"Gonna give me a hug?"

She rushed into his arms to give him a hug.

"Bring them Hell, dad."

He laughed as he left.

"You have my debit card so buy what you want. Take any of the cars or motorcycles. Also, make sure you feed the wolves."

She waved him goodbye as he left the front door. When he was gone she knew she had to brush her teeth and shower which she could do at the same time. She went to the restroom and very quickly took a shower while she brushed her teeth.

She had 4 razor-sharp canines along with some wolf-like teeth. Her molars were pointed like those of a wolf or dog, but some of her teeth were normal human teeth. She could crunch through bone if she wanted. She finished her shower in 6 minutes.

Once she got out she made sure to put on back her mask back on.

'Just made it.'

She whistled and called the wolves inside who sat down in front of their large steel bowls. She went into the freeze that was made just for them. She got out giant frozen cow rib and started to break off pieces with her strength.

She put them into the bowls of the wolves making them all dig in and crunch through the frozen meat. Once they all got a big piece she pet them all and went to the garage. It was full of different sports cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

She chooses a black motorcycle with a red wolf head spray-painted on it. She started to move the motorcycle outside of the garage and her house. The entire property was huge and it was only her and her dad living there.

She put on her helmet which was made to lock into her mask. She kick-started the bike and rode off at max speed. This was not just any bike as it was made to go beyond what normal ones could go. At max speed, it could go 300 miles per hour and she did not hesitate to start building up to it.

'Let's go with a new record.'

She did a wheely as she rushed into incoming traffic at 100 miles an hour. She was even speeding up as she could see everything much slower than normal.
