Chapter 21

Two hours later, Avery flipped through the walls and landed on the rooftop beside her target building.

She wore a small earpiece and pressed the chip, "Check visually," she said softly.

Code T6 is the thin hacker she would be working with throughout this mission. In her ear could hear the tapping of a keyboard.

"The building is surrounded by guards on every side, but there's a gap behind the garage. Go left. The guards are about to change shifts. You have two minutes, max."

"Copy." Avery gave a curt reply and jumped down from the three-story building to the ground, scaling the walls with ease.

With her vampire speed, she leaped over the building, flashing to the location, and slipped past the vacant area before the other guard replaced the other.
