I slept soundly until midnight, my face was scrunched like a paper as I found myself in a nightmare-like reality.

The man in chains looked at Leia with pleading eyes when he saw her resistance.

My body ruffled Against my bed in protest, I didn't want to be in that hellish place anymore.

My breaths were getting more shallow and I felt my head being dipped in water making me unable to breathe.

I gasped for air under the water only to choke a mouthful of water in my nose.

My eyes became red and my nose felt a burning sensation.

"Ahhhh, I screamed.

"Zelda, Zelda wake back up Zelda, it's just a dream, I heard someone's voice from a distance.

My eyes turned to the ray of light in the water.

I stretched my hands towards it and took a hand.

I was jolted back to life by my Father.

I panted heavily when I saw him, I threw myself in his arms and hugged him tightly.

He had heard the ruffles and the shouts in my room and came over to see the situation.

"It's okay Zelda, it's fine, you're going to be fine, I'm here okay? "

My stifled sobs made a pact on his nightwear but he still rubbed my back inconsolably.

"Don't go anywhere, Dad please, I hung my hand around his neck refusing to let go.

Fear was imminent in my eyes.

I didn't let go of his arms until I fell back asleep in his embrace.

Dad held me and made sure I was fast asleep before he laid me back on the bed and left the room.

I woke up the next day with smiles On my face.

There was no sign of the nightmare yesterday night on my face at all.

I stretched lazily on the bed and stood up to go to Dad's room.

I had to thank him for taking me shopping yesterday.

The shopping from the day before had made me so delighted

"Good morning Dad, I said to him as I entered his room.

"Good morning my princess, he greeted back."

"How was your night, I asked him with a wide smile on my face."

"It was fine, honey,"

"Thank you so much for taking me to shop yesterday Dad, I appreciate it."

I went up to him and hugged him tightly.

"It's nothing, Leia, you're my joy, you know that right."

"Alright that's okay, let's go make breakfast."

My stomach gurgled with what I said and my father looked at me seemingly.

"I laughed heartily at his words and followed him to the kitchen.

His steps were in front of mine and I managed to keep up with him.

I held his hands and walked to the kitchen trying to remember if I had any nightmare the day before, but there was none.

We both made a simple omelet and took it out of the kitchen with bread.

"Mmm, this food is so great Dad, I spoke to him with my mouth full of food."

We looked at ourselves and Burst out laughing hard.

Mom was bad at making omelets even though she could make other dishes, Dad was the one who made her omelet all the time which had then turned her favorite.

"Eat up your food Leia, we have got a lot to do."

I took the remaining food on the plate and stuffed them all in my mouth.

The meal was finished and I stood up to clear the table.

"I'll go wash the dishes now Father, Stay here or go back to your room."

"Alright, he said to me and walked away to his room.

The ceramic plate Dad had used for his meal fell right on the floor in the kitchen.

The loud clinking and tinkling of the plate made my head buzz.

Memories of last night came again vividly in my head.

I'd indeed had a nightmare, Dad wasn't overthinking it.

I'd just forgotten about it.

"Help, help me, Zelda, the image got clearer in my head, the man seemed to be suffering more pain than he did last night."

My mind was jumbled as I tried to figure out who it was, and why did he need my help.

"What's happening there Zelda, my father's voice brought me back to my senses.

I snapped out of the stance that I was in and saw the mess of the broken plates on the floor.

"Are you okay Leia, his concerned voiced reached me."

"I'm fine Dad, the plate just fell from my hand and broke."

"It's alright, have you got any cuts from the shards?"

"No Dad I'm fine, you can go back to your room and I'll clear the mess here."

He hesitated and told me to go back to my room.

"You'll injure yourself if you clear it up, go to your room and get ready, I'll clear up the mess."

I gave him no reply and Bent went to pick up the broken shards of glass.

"Ahh, I made a small whimper when a tiny piece of the shards pricked my fingers.

"I've told you to let it go, Leia, go back to your room."

I stood up from the ground and walked back to my room.

A flash of help came to my mind.

"I couldn't figure out where it came from, Maybe I was starting to run mad, I was hallucinating.

I shook my head again in denial, it wasn't hallucination.

It had to be real, the man, his voice, and the pain in his eyes were so real.

I plopped on the bed and fell back to sleep exhaustedly.

Yellowstone area of Wyoming

Zeres was getting ready to leave the pack after Eyolf had agreed to let him go out of the pack.

Ash had packed everything he'll be needing for his journey out of the pack.

On the third day, Zeres's bag was held by the guards as he walked closer to Eyolf and hugged him.

He took another look at Ash and said to her.

"Ash, make sure to take care of Eyolf while I'm away".

Ash looked at Eyolf and smiled back at Zeres.

"He'll be fine Zeres, just make sure you get back home safely, we'll be waiting for you.

Eyolf walked toward Zeres and gave him a tight hug, he told Zeres to be safe.

Zeres disengaged himself from the hug and walked away waving at Eyolf and Ash.

Eyolf and Ash both looked each other in the face and went back inside.

He took another look back and saw the faint head of the tall castle in the distance.

He turned and walked further away from there.

The journey to the night prowlers pack was a very long one which took days and walking.

The forest was filled with a lot of danger and unforeseen circumstances.

Zeres thought about shifting to his Wolf form but thought Against it.

His presence would be easily noticed by the other wolves in the forest and that would blow his cover.

Days later, a cloud covering the night prowlers pack house had disappeared and the lone figure of the house stood on its own.

He walked further ahead in a rush and was almost seen by the guards.

The pack house was heavily guarded that Zeres thought If the alliance was already signed.

The guards were vigilant and any slight movement would get him caught.

He dodged the guards and snuck into the broken wall of the pack house.
