Dinner with the Yaoyorozu's! A Rather Important Request

When Momo told me that it was casual dress, I didn't think she meant I had to wear a suit, maybe it's because they're wealthy? Now that I'm thinking about it, that's rather stereotypical being that they're people of wealth, but I guess I can understand why. Momo had her arm locked around mine, this was the first time I've ever seen her legitimately fancied out. Her hair was neatly curled and not in a ponytail. I actually had my hair down for the first time in a while. We rang her doorbell and her mother answered.

"Ah! My darling Momo! Alyx, you look rather adorable!" Her Mother greeted.

I bowed down, "Thank you, Mrs. Yaoyorozu! It's a pleasure to see you again!"

We entered the house, they must've had some sort of huge glass chandelier installed recently, because I've never seen it there before. There was a huge cake on the middle of the table, accompanied by two chocolate fountains! Her whole family was here as well, I wonder what they do for a living? Momo departed from me to see her Father. There was a live orchestra here as well, they really went all out for his birthday! Someone put a drink in front of me and I took it.

"So, you're the boyfriend I've heard and seen so much about, I'm assuming?" She asked.

"Mm hm, that's me. You're one of her cousins, I can assume as well?" I replied.

She giggled and shook her head, "No, no, I'm actually her Aunt. I know, my height doesn't make me out to look like one, but it's true! My name is Claire Yaoyorozu."

I would've never guessed that she was her Aunt! She stood at the height of my stomach, plus she looked rather young, maybe she was in her late 20's?

"I don't mean to be impolite, but what is your age? Your youth kind of caught me off guard, I would've never suspected someone of your stature to be an Aunt, that's why I thought you were her cousin." I chuckled.

"Ah, it's alright. I'm 38 years old, I know, looks do speak for themselves." She smiled.

I saw Momo wave me over, "Darling! My Father would like to see you!"

I nodded and made my way into the room she was in. Her Father greeted me with a hearty laugh and a hug.

"Alyx, my dear old boy! It's been ages since we've seen each other! How's U.A. High?" Her Father grinned.

"It's been great! I've been learning quite a lot of new techniques and tricks." I smiled back.

Mr. Yaoyorozu sat down, "So I've heard! Momo's told me quite a lot about it. This 'Infinite Mode' truly has intrigued a lot of us, could you care to show us it sometime tonight?"

"I don't see why not, besides I-" I tried to tell him.

I heard glass shatter in the other room accompanied by screaming and shouting. We rushed into the other room but I stopped everyone as soon as I saw a group of masked men holding Claire hostage!

"We heard there was a gathering of rich folk around this neighborhood, low and behold, it happened to be the Yaoyorozu family! Now, let's make this real simple, hand over everything you've got, and we'll let the girl go." The man tried to persuade.

I stepped forward and smirked, "Nah, I don't think they'll be handing shit over to low lives like you."

"Oh? Who in the fuck do you think you are, kid?" He retorted.

The chandelier began to shake and the lights flickered on and off. A draft slowly began to pick up around the room. My hair slowly lifted up and my Overdrive aura slowly crept up my body. The lights completely went out, causing an alarmed gasp from some of the thugs. The only visible light in the room was my Overdrive. My hair faded into a brightly glowing white and my aura exploded around me! I saw the man who was holding Claire hostage tremble in fear.

"I-I-It's... I-It's h-him!" He stuttered.

I stood silently and stared at the men. The winds around the room started to pick up fiercely. I walked forward, instead of opening fire on Claire, they all opened fire on me. The bullets stopped right in front of me and dropped to the ground. I grabbed his gun and completely snapped it in half. He let go of Claire and backed away. Claire rushed behind me and peeked out over my arm.

"I'm gonna give you two options, Option One: You leave this place and never think about coming back. Or Option Two: I send all of you into a well-deserved coma." I told them.

They fired everything they had at me, but the bullets only stopped and fell to the ground. Some of the men screamed out of terror as they fled the mansion. The guy who held Claire hostage rushed me, I dodged his punch, and punched him in the gut. I sent him flying out of the window. I turned my attention towards the other few masked men in the room.

"So, would anyone else like to book a flight? I've got a few more reservations." I laughed.

The thugs ran off out of the mansion. I walked over to the door and shut it.

"D-DARLING, LOOK OUT!" I heard Momo shout.

I heard someone come up from behind me, I dodged their attack without even looking, a pipe slammed into the door. I grabbed the man by his throat and held him up high.

"Did you seriously not see what I did to your little friend? I guess you're taking a trip to Tahiti buddy!" I shouted.

I slammed my fist into his face and he went flying out of the window as well. I blew steam off my fist and turned to face everyone else. I relinquished my Quirk and my hair fell to its normal state once again.

"And that... Was Infinite Mode! I'm basically untouchable in that state, also don't worry about the mess, I can clean that up!" I smiled.

"W-Wow... That was remarkable!" Her Mother beamed.

I looked over and gave a thumbs up to the little boy that turned the lights off.

"Nice job, kid. You really nailed the effects there!" I complimented.

He nodded at me, "Thank you, Mr. Braveheart!"

I restored the windows and the door. The children picked the bullets up and started giggling.

"Woah, woah! These are real bullets? Cool!" A little girl giggled.

"Hey now, you shouldn't be messing with those. How about I give you guys one of these?" I smiled.

I created a Flash Cannon for each of them. Of course, they were duds and wouldn't explode if I opened my fist. They all ran off with their new toys with laughter and smiles. Her family gathered around me, her grandmother walked forward and pinched my cheeks.

"My, my! Aren't you just an adorable young man! Thank you for saving my daughter. No wonder why my granddaughter is so fond of you!" Momo's Grandmother praised.

"Hee hee! Thank you!" I grinned.

After that whole situation, we got started with the festivities. I found Momo's Father and wished him a happy birthday. I also asked if I could talk to him outside in private. We walked out to the balcony.

"What was it that you wanted to talk about, Alyx?" He wondered.

I put my hands behind my back and looked to the side, "W-Well... I know this is rather early, but I figured I should get it set in stone now instead of later. I was wondering... I-If..."

"Hm? What is it?" He replied.

I bowed and looked at the ground, "I was wondering if I could have your permission and blessing to marry your daughter!"

It was silent for a few seconds but it was broken by his hearty laughter. I felt him place his hand on my shoulder and I looked up at him.

"Of course! You've done so much for her; I've never seen her express such joy and happiness before. What you just shown us earlier proved that you're more than capable to keep her safe. That's all I ask of you to do, keep our precious Momo safe, I know you can do it. If I recall, she's adamant that you're her hero." Her Father agreed.

I stood up straight and held back tears of joy. I felt a tear roll down my face and I wiped my eye.

"T-Thank you, Mr. Yaoyorozu! I won't let you down, I promise!" I beamed.

He gave me a rather heart-warming smile before we returned to the mansion. I found Momo, she was talking to her cousins, I really wonder if the Yaoyorozu's all had similar Quirks?

"Ooo! Is that your boyfriend? He's so cool! Is it true that you held a building up by yourself?" One of them asked.

"Well, I don't mean to brag, but I've held up more than just one building by myself." I boasted.

One of the walked up to me and hung off my arms, "Could you pick all of us up?!"

[5 Minutes Later...]

"Momo, darling, your Father was- Alyx... What in heavens name are you doing?" Momo's Mother wondered.

"Oh, hey, Mrs. Yaoyorozu! They wanted to see if I could hold them all on each arm! I guess I can lift four people at once after all!" I giggled.

Her cousins hopped off of my arms and started talking with one another. Momo went to go see her Father and I went out towards the main dining hall. On the floor, I found a rather familiar red feather laying on the ground, I picked it up off the ground.

"Hawks..." I muttered.

I looked up at the window and saw the moon shining in. I returned my gaze to the feather. It almost felt as if he was sending me a message, almost to say he was sorry. The feather was broken and missing pieces of it as well. Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe he knew what I was going through, I was just too harsh to care at the time. I placed the feather in my suit pocket before I started to feel worried. I felt someone grab my hand, I looked to the right of me and saw Momo.

"Hey, sorry about that, my Father wanted to tell me something. Come on, I have to show you something!" Momo told me.

She pulled my hand and we went upstairs. We went into a room, which washer old bedroom, the room was greatly preserved. It looked like it hadn't seen dust in years! We walked over to the window, she opened it and stared outside.

"Do you see that? Over in the distance there?" She pointed.

"Yeah, that star, I seen it all the time when I looked out of the window at my house." I replied.

"I always thought that star was you. Whenever I'd look out at night, it reminded me of you, so it always made me feel safe. Every now and then, whenever I couldn't see it, you coincidentally were upset. Beforehand, I always felt that there wasn't anything I could say to make you feel better. But you always managed to make us smile, even when that light was gone. Once you said that you weren't a hero anymore, it disappeared from the sky completely. I didn't think I'd see it ever again to be quite honest. But... Ever since that day you fought Midoriya, it's shined the brightest I've ever seen it shine." Momo explained.

Momo grabbed my hand as she continued to look up at the star, "I guess what I'm trying to say is... That star is what I've looked to for the past three years now. The light of hope inside of you matches that star, it defines that feeling of safety I've always felt when I'm with you. Your past actions don't define you as a person, Alyx, never forget that. You have room to grow and shine brighter than that star."

My grip tightened on her hand as I smiled. Tears fell down my face as I looked at the star.

"Thank you... I needed to hear that from you, Momo." I softly spoke.

The star began to twinkle and glisten in the distance. Maybe it was because of the tears I shed, or maybe Momo was right, that star was somewhat a symbol of who I am and what I feel. She moved closer to me and laid her head on my chest.

"And thank you for coming into my life, Alyx." She cooed.

If I was gonna shine brighter than that star, then there were somethings that I needed to do, and a lot of 'em!

[The Next Day...]

After school, I had Luna meet me outside of the dorms. I never really thanked her for everything she's done for all of us. She peered out from a bush at me.

"You wanted to see me or something?" She asked.

I nodded at her, "That I did."

I gave her a hug, I don't think she expected it, but her purring told me it was welcomed. Her tail moved up and down my legs as she smiled.

"I'm glad that you're feeling better now, Alyx." Luna purred.

"I've got a lot of things to do and a few people on my list! I figured you'd be the first person I check off." I responded.

I went onward with my little adventure after letting Luna into the dorms. I looked down at the list I made at school today. I had Midnight, All Might, and Kariya on my list. My first stop was Midnight! I made my way back to U.A. to her office. Once I got there, I knocked on her door and entered the room. She was looking at a picture of something before putting it down and looking up at me.

"Ah, Leonidus! How's one of U.A.'s hottest guys doing?" She giggled.

"I'm doing alright, what were you looking at?" I replied.

"Oh, just an old memory, nothing more." Midnight sighed.

I walked over to her desk to look at the picture she had. In the picture was her, Mr. Aizawa, Present Mic, and a rather jolly, blue haired man from when they were younger. I could clearly tell that something happened to the blue haired man, judging by the way Midnight looked at the picture. I gave her a huge hug and laughed.

"I've been meaning to give you one of these! I can tell you needed one!" I giggled.

She gently hugged me back, "Thank you, Alyx."

[10 Minutes Later...]

I entered the teacher's lounge, All Might was sitting on the couch, it looked like he was reading something. He looked up at me and smiled.

"Young Leonidus, how's it going?" He questioned.

"I'm doing good, All Might. I have something... Theoretical? I've been wondering about it for a while now." I told him.

"Oh? What would that be?" He replied.

"I think I can heal your injuries. At least, I THINK I can, I'm not 100% certain." I theorized.

All Might looked rather intrigued. I've further improved my healing so that I can heal lost limbs without having to have said limb or limbs present. I did a little painful experimenting on my own one day, I had quite a rather interesting explanation to give once Momo walked into my room that day, let's just say having a pile of your own legs wasn't an ideal sight to see. I began to heal All Might, hopefully this works!
