"Grrrr," a low growl reached Kevin's ears, followed by unfamiliar cries of other beasts. Countless different monsters could be seen making their way from the forest, instantly locking their eyes on Kevin and seven servants behind his back.
The fire that had been scattered around the tree earlier was nowhere to be seen, causing Kevin to be hardly able to recognize any of the beasts due to the lack of light.
'This is really too much...There are probably hundreds of beasts,' Kevin prophesied while looking around warily, 'Should I run or fight?'
'No...That's exactly what I wanted, isn't it? Without any risk, the rewards will be petty' Kevin finally resolved his mind as he looked around once more. This time, however, his gaze was filled with bloodlust and malevolence, causing even his own servants to glance at him with apprehension.
"Attack," Kevin commanded loudly as he unsheathed the dark blade and slid his hand through the edge of it. With a trickle of blood that fell to the ground with a slight pump, the servants charged towards the beasts that were scattered in the dark forest.
'It's been a long time since I fought with all my strength,' Kevin smiled wryly as he suddenly grabbed the handle of the blade with all his strength and leaped into the air.
While being in mid-air, Osun appeared directly below Kevin, allowing him to land unimpeded on his servant's back.
"Go," Kevin kicked the horse's flank.
"NEIGHH!", with an unpleasant roar the horse plunged into the darkness of the forest where numerous amounts of creatures could be seen fighting Kevin's servants.
Despite the ferocity of the scene, Kevin did not feel any of his mana disappear, indicating that the enemies were not that strong.
"Are there truly no useful servants in this bunch?" Kevin muttered in disbelief as he slit the throat of the green lizard that didn't even manage to oppose the attack.
Kevin was only interested in the creatures that were above the stage of humans, or at least those with special god powers that would definitely come in handy later. However, by the mana not even remotely disappearing, it could be said that there weren't any beasts worthy of Kevin's attention.
"And I wanted to retreat..." Kevin chuckled at his own patheticness.
After the incident in the city of Hiroshima, not only did Kevin have constant nightmares, he had become far too cautious. To the point where what seemed to be a manageable circumstance, Kevin would still stealthily retreat and wait for a right moment to strike back.
"ROAR!!!" Suddenly a loud roar reached Kevin's ears as he looked to the side. Judo could be seen erupting with devilish fire while looking at the other side, where a large number of huge spiders were coming at him.
All of them were colored in dark paint, causing them to be hardly recognizable in the darkness of the forest.
However, the fire that rose from the depths of the Judo mouth instantly lit up the area. Unexpectedly for the spiders, an immense amount of flames spread out from the beast's maw, beginning the massacre.
The spiders didn't even have enough time to retreat as they were engulfed by the flames, which killed within a matter of seconds. After some time, only dark skins could be seen scattered around the perimeter as Judo proceeded to attack.
'Judo is indeed the strongest of my servants,' Kevin thought before turning his gaze to the other fights. Everyone seemed to be doing well, with the advantage being on the Servants' side.
The only one struggling was Markus, who had to fight three lizards alone. Considering his god power and lack of proper combat training, it was only natural that he wouldn't be able to fight off the lizards, but in this case, it wasn't a problem.
Kevin managed to notice a small, green creature biting Markus' leg as it hissed softly. That was the reason behind Markus' real struggle, as the creature seemed to contain some deadly poison, which forced the constant disappearance of Kevin's servant.
Despite disappearing many times and trying to avoid the attack of the green creature, the shift and elastic body of the beast would easily escape any interventions.
"A snake?" Kevin muttered excitedly as he spurred the horse again, signaling to move towards the battle between the beasts and Markus.
Osun marched forward without any disparity as his third eye flickered reddishly. Silently, a red laser was shot from the horse's forehead, aimed directly at the lizards' heads.
None of them could react in time as all three heads were shot through, exploding the whole area with crimson blood. The laser wasn't stopped at the right moment, destroying the huge trees all around.
"Now that was some excellent accuracy, great job Osun," Kevin smiled before signaling the servant to stop. The paralyzed Markus could still be seen trying to fight off the small creature. Unfortunately with little to no success.
"Osun, shoot him," Kevin ordered, steering towards the barely visible body of the green snake.
Although the snake's body was small, the venom in its fangs would have to be extremely powerful, considering that even the first level superhuman had no way to defend himself.
That's also the reason why Kevin wanted this snake to be his little servant. Not only is it sneaky and resilient, but this snake can also be used as a highly dangerous weapon.
During battles, especially in war, warriors tend not to notice the diminutive things, which is often the cause behind their death, and this snake could definitely be one of those reasons.
"NEIGH!!!" With a loud cry, the horse once again shot out a red laser from its forehead. However, this time the force behind the laser wasn't as strong, but more precise.
The snake didn't even have enough time to turn its face towards the impending danger before it was hit in the belly. The laser divided the snake's body into two different parts, creating a gap in the middle.
Faint smoke rose from the edges of the snake's body, influenced by the immense heat of the red laser. The snake was, by every means, destroyed.
"Obey, Hydra," Kevin extended his hand forward with an enormous smile shimmering across his cast. Immediately, dark smoke spread around the snake's body, and after only a few seconds, the beast could be seen emerging from the haze.
Hissing with excitement, the snake rushed towards Kevin with all possible speed. The new dark skin made it easier not to lose sight of the snake in the greenness of the lawn.
The snake glued to the horse's pastern and, by twisting around it, climbed upward. After a few moments, the snake was already circling around Kevin's forearm while hissing in happiness.

'Poison bite...huh' Kevin looked at the screen in astonishment. However, when he saw the snake's cultivation level, Kevin's eyes widened even more, 'Poison strong enough to kill even someone 4 levels higher?'
Kevin had already predicted that the little snake would be useful in sneak attacks, but it was still unfathomable. If anyone knew he had obtained such a useful creature, they would surely claw their eyes out with envy.
"Welcome to the team," Kevin murmured as he slid his finger over the surface of the snake, trying to be as gentle as possible, "Since you're new, we'll test your power"
Kevin surveyed the area once again, searching for suitable prey. The fights were still ongoing with most of them getting dominated by Kevin's servants.
After some time, Kevin found the strong-looking lizard and commanded the snake to attack, who instantly jumped off the horse, excited about his first mission.
'I should finish this faster and get back to base...'

In the dark area, a golden-haired girl could be seen leaning against the wall while tapping her mask in deep thought.
'If I'm right, Kevin should be able to turn anyone he wants into these creatures, and sea monsters should be no exception' Laura thought, 'We could be transported by riding the sea whales or another species... But it's still dangerous'
Fallen into her thoughts, Laura didn't even notice the abnormality in the surroundings. Directly above Laura, three dark creatures could be seen looking at her with bloodlust.
A creepy smile flitted across the faces of the trio, while the one in the middle muttered, "Hehehe...a human"
