Killing demons

"Hehehe...a human," the dark creature muttered excitedly as saliva dripped from its mouth. Fortunately, the other two creatures managed to keep the saliva from descending to the bottom as not to alarm the Laura below.

"Dror-gus, you dumba-ss, keep your sal-saliva in your mo-mouth," a creepy voice rang out from the mouth of the cruelest looking creature. A fine dark carapace covered every part of the monster's skin, while a strangely shaped helmet could be seen settling on its head.

The two jet-black creatures next to it didn't look as scary as the middle one, precisely because of the lack of proper armor on their skin.

"Wha-what is human do-doing here? We s-should inform the captain," the other dark monster muttered softly, its voice filled with immense disgust.

"We ca-ca-catch this woman and take her to the captain," the monster in armor said as it gripped the metallic bow behind its back. With slow-motion, the dark creature pointed the bow downward, aiming straight into Laura's back.

After taking out a shadowy arrow that was flecked with some green poison at the edge, the monster pulled it back and cocked the silver string.

An unpleasant sound resounded through the area, followed by a loud bang that sent a cold shiver down Laura's spine. Feeling the danger emanating from the surroundings, Laura stood up in alarm.

However, before she could notice any abnormality in the vicinity, a sharp pain jostled her back.

'An arrow!!?' Laura cursed inwardly, feeling a piece of cold metal penetrate deep into her shoulder. Despite the immense pain, Laura forced herself back to her feet as she looked up warily.

Another two arrows could be seen incoming towards Laura at full speed as she skillfully evaded the attack by jumping back a few times.

"Hehehe ... A human is always great at running away," an eerie voice reached Laura's ears as she turned around in alarm.

"Yo-You...Demons?" Laura involuntarily took a step back, noticing the appearance of three dark figures that descended from above. Laura's legs began to tremble as she took two more steps backward.

"Why...Are there demons here?" Laura said aloud, her voice filled with inexplicable fear and a hint of hatred.

"Human, don't res-resist and come with us," a small demon stepped forward, looking at Laura with cruel eyes, "Or else we will have to force you."

The demon licked the corner of his lips, causing Laura to take yet another step in shock.

"Go away!!!" Laura pointed her hand forward and shot out a foam of water from her palm. Her whole body shook as she looked forward, hoping to see the demons get destroyed by the water bubble.

However, to her surprise, the water ball flew right over the heads of the demons, who were eyeing the attack with ludicrous eyes.

'Demons...demons...demons...' Laura began to panic while she increased her retreating pace until eventually, running away at full speed. But before she could take another step, another arrow penetrated from behind, forcing Laura back to the ground.

"Huma-human, why are yo-you running? Aren't we frie-friendly demons?" the demon with the bow in his hand said jokingly as he unsheathed another arrow.

'Demons...demons...why are they here...why is this happening again?' Laura's eyes became slightly watery as she muttered, "Mother..."

"Hehehe....Human so scared," the demons started laughing loudly, filling the entire inside of the tree with creepy sounds.

"Someone he- help me..." said Laura weakly as she crawled towards the exit with all her remaining strength. Her golden hair was filled with brown mud while her skin was extremely pale. Without a doubt, the poison had begun to take effect.

"Let's capt-capture her and brin-bring her to the boss," all the demons finally stopped laughing as their gazes sharpened on the crawling Laura. Even now, the demon who had almost dripped his saliva earlier couldn't hold back his emotions after seeing the struggling human. No matter the situation, it was always a pleasure to see the agony in the human's eyes.

However, this woman's reaction was somewhat even more amusing. Only after seeing the group of demons, she has instantly started to retreat without even bothering to resist.

"Capt-capture!" all the demons rushed towards Laura, forcibly restricting her movements. Two smaller demons held Laura's hands while the one with the armor eyed the whole scene from the side.

"Wait... Let's have some more fun before we retu-return to base ..."

"The hunt wasn't so bad," Kevin smiled while proceeding to move towards the base. The fight between the beasts and his servants didn't last long, and after Kevin himself entered the fray, it ended in a matter of seconds.

Unfortunately, Kevin didn't find any other beasts that piqued his interest that much, except for another venomous snake. Kevin made the snake into his servant without much doubt, and even though it was at the sixth level of human, he was still happy with his decision.

Battles against stronger individuals would be many times easier with the help of two versatile snakes that could spray venom at their leisure.

"I have two of you now" Kevin let his hand slide through the two snakes that were coiled around his wrist. Both snakes matched the color of his dark gear, making them nearly invisible and adaptable to be used during battles.

"AHHHH!!!" a loud scream suddenly rang through the area, causing Kevin to pause. Confused, Kevin looked towards the huge tree, which was clearly visible despite the distance. He instantly noticed a medium-sized hole in its upper part.

'Someone attacked Laura?' Kevin wondered as he summoned Osun and jumped over it, signaling it to move immediately. Moving at incredible speed, wind blew in Kevin's face while he only spurred the horse to run faster.

Despite not being anything close to Laura, he couldn't just let her die. Not only because she was powerful and had a lot of potentials, but also because of her status.

"Damn it, faster!" Kevin rained a kick on the horse's stomach, who forced more force into his cannons in response.

After some time, Kevin finally reached the giant tree as he disintegrated Osun and charged towards the entrance. The darkness that filled every corner of the compound made the inside of the tree a mystery, but the chaotic energy around it forced Kevin to stay alert.

Without much thought, Kevin blasted the gray rocks out of his path, executing a kick forward. Alarmed, Kevin stepped into the base, instantly eyeing the area.

"This..." Kevin noticed the abnormality at first glance as his eyes darkened.

Three demons could be seen standing over the unconscious Laura, looking at her with lustful eyes. However, the one with the dark armor had already moved his gaze toward the source of the sound.

"Ano-another human?" the demon muttered ridiculously as he turned his gaze back to the fainted woman, "Drorgus, ki-kill him and you get to have some fu-fun with her.

"Reall-really?" The demon's eyes lit up as he glanced towards Kevin with killing intent.

However, a shiver suddenly ran through the trio of demons, forcing each of them to unconsciously take a step back and fix their gaze on the source of the danger.

Kevin's eyes were completely filled with deep darkness that radiated immense threat, while hazy smoke rose from his own body.

"Demons..." said Kevin in an eerie tone as more killing intent spread out. The demons couldn't believe their eyes at the sight of such immense momentum, but the fact that it came from a human, made their mood even worse.

"Wha-what do you think you are doing? Showing of- off you-your power, ri-right?" The armor-clad demon wanted to take out his bow, but a hand suddenly appeared right next to him.

The demon couldn't even react in time as he was sent flying by the dark blow. His helmet instantly shattered, causing an enormous amount of purple blood to fall onto Kevin's mask.

The two demons next to him were still standing on the spot, dazed by this incredible pace. Kevin grabbed both their heads with his hands and rammed them into the ground, creating a loud tremor. Both demons were dead on the spot with their skulls ripped open.

"HUMAN!!!" the demon that was slammed into the wall straightened back up as he pulled out his bow, pointing it at Kevin. However, before the demon could shot something out, Wolf emerged right beside him, sending another blow to his swollen cheek.

"Demon...what were you going to do to her?" Kevin moved towards the demon with slow steps as dark figures rose behind his back. The demon couldn't even mutter a word after seeing such a scene as he proceeded to deposit on the ground, terrified.

"Demon...I said, what were you going to do with her?" Kevin was already standing right next to the dark being, looking down at him as if to declare his dominance.

"I... I wanted to ..."

Just as the demon opened his mouth, Kevin shoved his sword directly into the demon's muzzle. Kevin's eyes flickered with killing intent, growing even darker than before.

"Die, you disgraceful being" Kevin thrust the blade further into the demon's depths, trying to make the experience as torturous as possible.

"!!!", the demon tried to fight back somehow, but it was impossible due to the many beasts standing around him.

*Stab*

When Kevin reached the deepest part of the demon's throat, he deftly cut forward, causing the demon to split into two pieces that fell to the ground in sync.

Purple blood scattered on the ground while Kevin looked at the dead demon from above with cold eyes.

"Demons....I will kill each and every one of you"
