Worry

Inside the painting,

A small blob of white light existed inside an endless void, slowly, as time passed, the light began transforming.

If Xu Yue was looking at the light right now, she would see a near mirror image of her young self admittedly, there were some differences between the two of them, but still if someone who was not familiar with Xu Yue looked at the figure they would not be able to tell the difference.

"Mother," mumbled the figure as she slowly woke up from her sleep.

As she became more and more awake, a distressed look appeared on the young soul.

"Mother, where are you?" shouted the soul as it appeared in the real world, the distressed look on becoming increasingly severe.

Suddenly, an arm gently embraced the struggling soul.

"There, there calm down," said Wu Jing as she lightly patted the top of the soul.

After looking at Wu Jing and seeing her similarities with her mother, the soul finally managed to calm down at last.

"Your mother is not here right now, she will be back a while later," said Wu Jing as she planted a small kiss on the figure's forehead, causing it to sink further into her embrace before falling asleep once again.

After a few moment's, the sleeping figure dissipated into the painting.

After making sure that the soul was actually asleep, Wu Jing took a jade slip from the hands of a bowing figure.

It took her a mere moment to take in all the information in the slip.

After which, she handed it back to the figure who then disappeared, after that, Wu Jing began looking at the sleeping soul with a loving expression, it had been over 150 years since she had last seen Xu Yue sleeping so peacefully.

"Xu Ming, that's a good name," mumbled Wu Jing as she remembered the name Xu Yue had sent in the jade slip.

After looking at the sleeping Xu Ming for a few more hours, and occasionally poking her cheeks, Wu Jing finally remembered to call Xu Chao.

In a few moments, Xu Chao appeared next to Wu Jing, but completely unlike usually, he completely ignored his wife, only staring at the painting in front of him.

"I can't believe someone can almost look as cute as Yue'er," said Xu Chao as he poked Xu Ming's cheeks.

"As expected of this seat's descendant," said Wu Jing as she threw Xu Chao to the side and began looking at Xu Ming.

"Hearing this," Xu Chao gritted his teeth, but as he wanted to say something he suddenly saw Wu Jing stare at him with a blank emotionless look as if he had disturbed her from something important.

Seeing this, Xu Chao, with self-preservation in mind, kept his words to himself.

Inside of the painting region,

Right now, a slightly worried expression appeared on Xu Yue's face as she felt her karmic connection to Xu Ming.

"Why are they staring at her so much, it's already been several days," mumbled Xu Yue as she thought of several worst-case scenarios, causing her to slightly clench her hand.

As she did so, an extremely powerful shaking began to emanate from Xu Yue, causing several mountains around her to collapse.

Several primitive villages around these mountains being completely crushed.

It was quite ironic, when there were natural disasters, the villages gave sacrifices to the gods to relieve their wrath, but they did not manage to recognize the wrath of an actual god.

The only reason these villages even existed was because no one could be bothered to come search for them

The resources present at the edge of the region were frankly pitiful while the mortal population was of no interest to cultivators.

As time passed, Xu Yue began calming down, allowing Ming Yun to approach and come by her side, but at this time, not even her dared say anything.

Feeling the karmic connection with Xu Ming, Xu Yue knew that nothing had happen to her, but even so, the mere thought made Xu Yue extraordinarily furious.

A few moments later, a chair appeared behind Xu Yue prompting her to sit down.

Seeing this, Ming Yun knew what she had to do, she went behind Xu Yue and began massaging her shoulders.

"Legs," said Xu Yue with a slightly warmer tone in her voice.

That word was all that was needed for Ming Yun to begin tenderly massaging Xu Yue's legs, as she did so, a cup of tea began floating toward Xu Yue.

After grasping the cup of tea, Xu Yue proceeded to take a small sip.

"Yun'er has gotten better at making tea," said Xu Yue as she finally returned to her normal self, allowing Ming Yun to finally breathe a sigh of relief.

"Thanks senior sister," said Ming Yun as she felt Xu Yue get up from the chair.

"What would I do without you," mumbled Xu Yue as she slightly pinched Ming Yun's cheek before taking one last sip of tea.

"I'm sure senior sister would do just fine," said Ming Yun as she slightly rubbed her cheek.

"That is true, but doing fine is not a very high standard is it?" asked Xu Yue as the two of them got back onto the ship.

Hearing this, Ming Yun did not know what to say, an awkward look appearing on her face.

The moment the two of them entered the ship, the chair that was formerly floating in the air fell down, smashing into a big boulder, completely destroying it, but even so, there was not a single scratch on the chair.

As the ship disappeared from the sky, several primitive humans appeared, they looked at the chair with extreme reverence.

They then began kowtowing repeatedly to the chair, unknowing of the youth that looked at the chair with enlightenment in his eyes.

A ruthless look appeared on the youth's face as he killed the men before putting the chair in his storage bag and began fleeing.

"This is my opportunity," mumbled the youth as he fled the scene
