"Don't worry, you are still young, you will still grow," said Ming Yun as she patted Shui Ming's shoulder.
After she heard what Ming Yun had to say, Shui Ming did not seem to get better, but rather, she deflated even further.
Looking at her, Ming Yun felt a giant headache, as such, the only thing she could do was place her hand on the latter's shoulder for a moment.
Unlike Shui Ming, who seemed in an incredibly bad mood, Chun De'er was seemingly enjoying herself.
Right now, Chun De'er had fallen asleep in Xu Yue's lap, but even so, the large smile on the little girl's face was incredibly evident to anyone who wasn't blind.
"Lucky little girl," thought Ming Yun as she looked at Chun De'er, whose head was right now buried in two soft pillows.
Even though Ming Yun tried her best to hide the expression on her face, and did not say anything, Xu Yue's eyes immediately darted to her when she felt the former's gaze linger on her.
"Jealous of a little girl? That's not very nice," said Xu Yue as she looked at Ming Yun with a sly smile on her face.
Even though she knew that Xu Yue was just teasing her, Ming Yun suddenly wanted to jump of the ship as she heard what Xu Yue had heard, and even Shui Ming, who was seemingly depressed had her lips curl up as she heard.
Knowing that it was best to not get into arguments with Xu Yue from past experiences, Ming Yun did not say anything, merely deciding to leave this part of the ship.
After a few minutes of them traveling, Shui Ming finally spoke for the first time in a while.
"Senior, we are getting close, you can slow down the ship," said Shui Ming as she tried her best not to look at the sleeping Chun De'er.
Hearing what Shui Ming had to say, Xu Yue did not say anything, but even so, the flying ship the four of them were on suddenly began slowing down, before finally, Shui Ming announced that they could stop.
Suddenly, a flying ship could be seen above a nearly endless forest, and out of that flying ship exited four cultivators.
As soon as Xu Yue exited the flying ship, an excited expression appeared on her face.
"This group of people is really impressive, I can't sense anything abnormal here," thought Xu Yue before deciding to remain silent, but one thing surprised Xu Yue even more.
Chun De'er had suddenly disappeared from her lap.
...
A small temple resided by the river, and near that temple stood two female cultivators with waterdrops on their forhead, one young and one old.
Looking at the seemingly obedient Chun De'er, a vein appeared on the old woman's forehead.
Even though she tried to calm herself down, when the old woman thought about how Chun De'er had sat on the lap of an unknown cultivator with little resistance, the veins on her forehead kept multiplying.
"Go into seclusion," said the old woman, with an extremely calm voice.
"Yes teacher," said Chun De'er as she, for the second time in her life heard this tone from her teacher.
Not wasting a moment after saying that, Chun De'er swiftly walked into the Taoist temple, and all the plans to have her teacher lower the punishment were immediately erased from her mind.
A few moments after Chun De'er went inside, the expression on the old woman's face finally returned to calm.
"She does have Chun'er aura around her," mumbled the old woman as she remembered memories from over fifty thousand years ago.
Remembering the little girl she had found all those years ago, a smile appeared on the old woman's face.
Knowing that lass was fine was all the old woman needed to know.
Even though she entered the Origin Sword Sect, the old woman was extremely worried for her disciple, and as she can not exit this place in the near future, she could only keep her worries to herself.
Suddenly, three other people appeared in front of the old woman.
"Disciple pays respects to master," said Shui Ming as she respectfully bowed to the old woman.
"Junior pays respect to senior," said Xu Yue before Ming Yun followed suit.
"I see you haven't slackened off, go inside to discipline De'er, I will guide you after I greet our guests," said the old woman as she looked at Shui Ming for a moment.
Hearing what her master had said, Shui Ming hurried inside, ready to disciple the little devil for the next few years.
Suddenly, Xu Yue, Ming Yun, and the old woman found themselves around a table.
Unlike Ming Yun, who seemed rather confused, a horrified expression appeared on Xu Yue's face.
"You don't have to worry, I have no desire to hurt you little girl, and even if I did, those old guys from your sect wouldn't let me off easily," said the old woman as she waved her hand, causing three cups of tea to appear around the table.
After a while, the horrified expression on Xu Yue's face slowly morphed into seclusion.
"Although this old woman feels much much stronger than any other Dao saint I have met, she feels different than the False Immortal ancestors," thought Xu Yue as a frown appeared on her face.
Seeing Xu Yue's slightly confused expression, a smile appeared on the old woman's face.
"I'm somewhat different from those other False Immortals you know, rather, different from all other false immortals," said the old woman as the smile on her face became even bigger.
"Right now, I'm just a relic from a bygone era, but even so, I'm not as old as you think," said the old woman, right now, it seemed like she was enjoying confusing Xu Yue quite a bit.
"Actually, I can't really be called a false Immortal, rather I'm much more like a true immortal," said the old woman, causing both Xu Yue and Ming Yun to almost stagger off their chairs.
As much as Xu Yue tried to think, she could not think of how this old woman had become like this.
