Plans

A smile appeared on Feng Shuchun's face when she heard that, no matter how many times she heard this, one of her disciples breaking through always made her happy.

"Only a few more years before she fully grows up" thought Feng Shuchun, looking at the happy Xu Yue.

"Good" said Feng Shuchun, as she patted Xu Yue's head.

Xu Yue tried to dodge her master's hand, but as always she could do nothing but endure.

"Just wait until I surpass you" unconsciously mumbled Xu Yue, an evil smile appearing on her face for a moment, before being replaced with an innocent look.

The smiles on both Feng Shuchun's and Liang Xiaoling's faces were wiped out in an instant. They both felt a chill in their bones.

Looking at the innocent Xu Yue, Feng Shuchun felt that her future was bleak.

A certain scene entered Feng Shuchun's mind. A moment later, cold sweat appeared on her forehead. She had just thought of several things her eldest disciple had done.

She then looked warily at Liang Xiaoling, her youngest disciple, did not have the strength or the courage to try something like that just yet. Right now, she just had to be cautious of her eldest disciple.

"Why did she become so wary of me?" asked herself Liang Xiaoling. Because of this, the plan to bully her master had to be delayed indefinitely.

Looking at her junior sister, Liang Xiaoling felt for the first time what it felt like to be dragged down by your teammate.

Xu Yue felt like she had started a war. Cold sweat flowed down her forehead as she felt two auras silently clashing.

A moment later, Xu Yue quietly exited her master's cave abode. As she did, she turned back, and saw her master and senior sister staring at each other.

Even more sweat flowed down her forehead. She then quietly entered her cave abode.

"Don't be naughty, Ling Ling," said Feng Shuchun, still wary of her eldest disciple.

"Yes, master," said Liang Xiaoling righteously, completely ignoring what had just happened.

Feng Shuchun's lips almost twitched, she had not seen her disciple ever be so shameless. She then nodded before waving her hand, causing Liang Xiaoling to disappear.

Knowing that one of her disciples lusted after her body made Feng Shuchun feel extremely insecure about her safety.

She then silently thanked Xu Yue for accidentally exposing her senior sister, ignoring what Xu Yue had actually said.

After a moment, Liang Xiaoling appeared outside of Feng Shuchun's cave abode, she then started flying towards her cave abode.

As she did so, the facade she had put up when she was in the presence of her master crumpled, a sad look appearing on her face.

The sulking Liang Xiaoling appeared inside of her cave abode. She then began rethinking the plan she had created to conquer her master.

Hours passed, and Liang Xiaoling stood still, thinking of a new plan to approach her master.

A few days passed this way. After thinking for a long time, a new plan had been created by Liang Xiaoling. The depressed look on her face completely disappeared.

"It will take a few years to begin but it will be worth it," said Liang Xiaoling, all the sadness from before having been replaced with determination.

Unknown to Feng Shuchun, a web was being created around her, trapping her right in.

Xu Yue's cave abode.

For the past few days, Xu Yue stayed inside her cave abode, not daring to exit. As someone at the Foundation Establishment, she could survive around six months without food. Not exiting her cave abode for a few weeks was something she could easily do.

"It's better to be safe than sorry," mumbled Xu Yue as she thought of her senior sister.

"Senior sister won't give up, I better not involve myself too much in her plans," thought Xu Yue, knowing Liang Xiaoling's character.

In another location,

A few shadowy figures gathered around a table. They had just finished discussing something.

"It has been decided, the plan will continue as planned," said one of the figures that stood at the table.

Another figure tapped one of its fingers on the table.

A few moments later, a few men dressed in black knelt before the group.

Lights formed from one of the fingers of the figures. The lights traveled to the men before entering their foreheads.

"It will be done," said the men in black all at once. A moment later, all of them disappeared.

"I hope it will be that easy," said one of the figures.

"There is no reason it will not succeed," responded another.

All of the figures then disappeared.

"It seems I overestimated their knowledge," said Hong Jun, looking at the place where the figures had just gathered.

"If it's like this, then I do not need to interfere at all," said Hong Jun. Not needing to interfere was an unexpected gain. This would grant him much more leeway in his plans.

"Everything is as it should be," mumbled Hong Jun before saying something incomprehensible.

A moment later, this incarnation of Hong Jun completely dispersed. All traces of its existence were completely destroyed. Not even the near-omniscient Heavenly Dao would be able to know of it's existence.

The original body of Hong Jung stood in the void, daydreaming about that book he had read when he was just a mortal.

"It's all fated, huh," mumbled Hong Jung under his breath.

He had long since given up the dream of going home, nothing could take him back there.

But even so.

"Do I want to go home?" This question had haunted him for all his life. Even after he had become immortal, his obsession with it did not decrease, rather it grew to an exaggerated level.

He had been away from home for such a long period of time that he had forgotten what parts of it were real and what parts of them were just his imagination.

He then looked towards the place he had accidentally created before letting out a sigh.
