New Morning

"Miss , where do you want to have breakfast?" asked the old carriage driver to Rebekah who has been writing something in the diary for the past few minutes. Rebekah gave slight nod looking towards the diary in her hands when she noticed that the carriage has been stopped in middle of a bustling town.

"Mr Adams , why did you stop?" she asked confused. Mr Adams assuming that the young lady didn't hear him said," Miss it will take us only 3 hours now to reach the town of Berxley . So it would be better if we had breakfast over here."

Rebekah nodded in understanding ," Okay then " she said as she looked towards the various inns. Mr Adams left to use washroom and Rebekah stepped down from the carriage with the diary in her hands. She stretched herself pained by the journey of 6 days.

She sighed and looked around her. She stood near a fountain which had a little water coming out of it . The water was green making various flies attracted towards it. She then looked at the people who were busy doing there work . Some men were selling various fruits and vegetables in their stalls , while some were selling pots and refineries . Women with packets laughed and talked among each other. Children were running around wearing nothing in their foot. The weather was sunny and warm as compared to Maurvie. When she looked at the sign board of the town it was written " Delonia" .

She heard her stomach growl from the hungriness and made her way towards an inn selling various baked products. It looked the most clean and less crowded inn. She made her way towards the counter when she came face to face with a chubby woman.

"Good morning Miss, what can I get you from my delicious counter?" she said with a smile viewing the lady she has never seen before.

"I would like a chocolate truffle pastry and a black coffee, Thank you" she said in a polite manner with a fake smile.

The daughter of the chubby lady who was two years younger than Rebekah noticed it . The owner took the order and asked her to take a seat. Rebekah chose a seat in the extreme corner from where she can see everyone inside the inn. The inn was full but not crowded like other inns . When Rebekah looked at the prices of each item displayed then she understood the reason. This inn was more pricy than other inns thats why the people seated were from upper cast family.

'A new place with a new morning'. she thought too herself .

"Its crowd. right?" she was staled by a voice and took out the pocket knife that she used to carry with her.

"Oh my Jesus , you are very friendly." the girl chuckled in surprise as she never imagined this reaction. Rebekah withdrew the knife from the girl's neck and hid it behind her dress.

"I am sorry " she said as she was embarrassed by her behaviour . The girl smiled and asked " If you don't mind can I be your company?"

Rebekah looked at the girl with blonde hair and green eyes . She was beautiful with the smile that she wore on her face . She wore a green simple dress which matched the colour of her eyes and her blond hair were tied in a bun. Rebekah nodded as the girl sat on the opposite chair.

"I am Regina Orbes , the daughter of the owner. This is your truffle cake and coffee. " she said with a smile and gave her order. Rebekah noticed how there were two truffle cakes and a black and cream coffee.

" You don't mind if I eat with you right?" she asked as she looked towards Rebekah.

"No, I don't mind " Rebekah said with her fake smile. Regina's smile returned to normal as she noticed the brown haired girl's smile again.

"You don't like to smile , do you?"
