Moving To Berexlyn

The clouds were dark grey in colour and the atmosphere was disastrous. The lightning made the dull and dark graveyard look more horrific. The people standing in the heavy rain didn't pay attention to the weather as they were mourning for the deceased couple.

A young figure of a girl can be seen standing in front of the graves with flower in her hands. The lady had dark brown hair which reached her shoulder and dark brown eyes which were devoid of any emotions. She didn't cry when she saw the two people who took care of her being buried.

"My condolences are with you , Rebekah" the old woman with white ash hair and green eyes said to the little girl as the people started leaving.

"Thank you Mrs and Mr Edwards" Rebekah bowed to the old couple before seeing them off top the carriage.

"Sarah, its time for me to leave" Rebekah said to the lady in her mid-thirties who was just behind her.

"Are you sure you don't want to accompany me back to Maurvie?" Sarah asked as she moved towards the girl who she had served for last 10 years. After death of her aunt and uncle the girl had no one left in this world. She wanted to accompany her but she can't because of her husband.

Rebekah smiled as she took the nanny's hand in her hands , "You don't have to worry about me Sarah. No one will hurt me . Well no one can. Remember I am cursed?"

Sarah was about to retort the statement but Rebekah continued " And Berexlyn is just 6 days away from Maurvie . Whenever I would come to visit Aunt and Uncle I will visit you for sure."

Rebekah smiled as she hugged her nanny. Sarah has been with her since her parents death. She was 3 years old when her parents Richard and Lilith Salvatore died in a fire . She was the only one who survived in the mansion among the 500 guests, her parents and 70 staff.

The fire was the first major event in a town like Maurvie. The town which was under Lord Richard Salvatore. That event changed hundreds of life . Some people lost their parents, children or friends, but Rebekah lost everything her happiness, her peaceful life, her parents who loved her and her memory.

She was found unconscious near the lake behind the mansion where the horrifying event took place. She forgot everything her past and present . The only thing she knew was that she was the daughter of Lord Richard Salvatore who was head of the small town , Maurvie.

When she heard this news she couldn't even express her sadness as everything was erased from her memory . She from then on lived with her aunt and uncle , Jason and Heldia Salvatore. But she was again never able to show emotions again.

All she could do was fake smile .

"This is for you" said Sarah as she handed Rebekah a brown diary. Rebekah stretched her hand out of the carriage window. She looked at Sarah in confusion .

"I know you have been through a lot and was never able to express your emotions to anyone. Take this diary as your listener . Whatever you write in it will be just between you and the diary. This way you will feel less burdened from your emotions."

Rebekah smiled at her nanny's words . This was a genuine smile . She was thankful to god that she met Sarah in her troubled times. "Thank you, Sarah . Take care" and with that her carriage started to move .

Sarah waved goodbye to her lady as she watched the carriage to disappear in the fog . " I hope you find everything that you have lost in your life , My lady."

And. with that she too left the graveyard.
