The leader flew back immediately after the clash.
I didn't give him time to recover because I immediately appeared right in front of him and brought the blade of my axe right down on his shoulders. Blood gushed out of his shoulders as he flew into a nearby house.
However, he didn't stay down for too long. He broke out of the rubble and immediately appeared before me. Raising his blade, we engaged in another series of clashes that destroyed our nearby surroundings.
"HA!! The more we fight, the more I learn your movements. I'll put you down soon enough, trash!" The leader barked as he coughed out a bit of blood.
"By the way....I never caught your name," I remarked as I rested my axe on my shoulders.
This fight had used quite a bit of my stamina. However, I was far from exhausted, if anything. All of this would give me a reason to take an extra long nap. On the other hand, the leader looked like he was one foot in the grave. His pointy hair had long been disheveled and was now messily draped down his face as he glared at me with bloodshot eyes.
There wasn't a part of his body that had been exposed, and that wasn't covered in excessive amounts of blood, and because he had been using his powers, The exposed blood slowly began to darken as it hardened his body even more.
It was frankly a miracle in itself how he was still standing.
"Ha! Trash like you have no right to know of my name," The leader remarked before grabbing his saber.
The saber took on a familiar dark hue as he lowered himself to a proper stance as if the injuries that he had acquired were of little importance. Veins began to protrude from his arms as he kicked the ground and lunged at me.
I gripped my axe and met his saber midpoint, deflecting the saber in a different direction. I kicked him in the stomach before raising my axe again. He raised his saber and hit the blade of my axe to deflect in another direction.
I countered with a roundhouse right to the side of the neck, sending him flying to the side as I started following him. He landed on his feet before rushing right back at me, and once again, we met again in the middle ground.
He swung the saber right at my neck, but I ducked before the attack could hit and rolled to the side. He followed up with an axe kick as he tried to crush my head in the ground, but I managed to dodge the attack by moving my head to the side, and in return, I managed to land my axe right between his ribs.
He puked blood as he flew to the side and crashed into another house that happened to be nearby. In the distance, I could sense Kuzan slowly making his way to us. Frost slowly began to encompass my surroundings.
"Ice Age!!"
The already icy atmosphere immediately froze over as everything on the island, including the Tree of Knowledge, immediately turned into ice. He grabbed a building that he had managed to freeze before lifting it. With a ferocious stomp on the ground, he chucked the entire thing at me.
I twirled my axe while coating it with Armament Haki before promptly cutting right through the building, but what promptly caught me off guard was the sudden appearance of the leader.
My brow twitched as I saw nothing more than the whites of his eyes and a maniacal grin plastered on his face.
"Soru"
I got the fuck out of there before that black stuff that was blooming out of his hand could touch me. I reappeared a bit of a distance from him and landed on the ground just to get a better picture of what he looked like now.
He clearly wasn't conscious anymore, and from the way things were looking. I couldn't tell whether or not he was under his control.
Kuzan, who happened to be rushing at me, also stopped and looked at the now beserk-looking leader. A drop of cold sweat slowly went down his forehead as he took a step back.
"I'd advise you to take the Marines and leave; this island won't last long," I remarked. I twirled my axe and lowered my stance as I got ready to attack once more.
"I'm not listening to someone who has killed my comrade!" Kuzan growled at me as he took on a defensive stance as well.
The leader chuckled as he gripped his Saber tightly and broke the saber's guard. Sure enough, the leader had gone bat-shit crazy.
The black shit that I had seen before had already wrapped itself in his arms, giving him a dangerous look as he trudged through the snow.
He kicked the ground and appeared right to my side before swiping his weapon viciously. I dropped the handle of my axe to block the attack and promptly grabbed his face and threw it across the island. I ended up having to use Moonwalk and Soru to catch up and position myself right on top of the man.
I raised my axe before summoning lightning and Infused Armament Haki to it.
"Lightning of Destruction!"
I swept my axe down on him, and the black stuff that had been on his arm quickly leaped out of the leader's body before my attack met him.
An explosion soon set in after, the attack pushing the leader all the way to the ground, breaking through the ice and creating a crater that almost split the island in two.
Landing on the icy, cracked ground, I could no longer feel the presence of the leader, but I could still feel the presence of that slimy black shit that had left his arm right before the attack landed.
Looking at the substance, it lingered for a while longer before it melted into the ground, cutting off my senses of it. I turned to look at the sudden surge of murderous intent that had been directed right at me.
Kuzan walked up to me, murderous intent still brimming from his eyes as he got closer. I didn't even bother raising my axe to fight.
"I ought to kill you for doing what you did," Kuzan growled.
"What's stopping you?" I asked.
He kept walking past me and didn't bother replying, his figure slowly vanishing in the distance. I spread my Observation Haki to figure out where Jaguar and Robin had been hiding during the duration of the fight. I found them hiding behind the Tree of Knowledge that had miraculously remained standing even though it was still frozen.
I slowly walked over there, only to find Jaguar slumped over with both of his hands on his chest. Around him were more World Government agents who were currently ice statues, but it hadn't changed the fact that he was worse for wear.
Parts of him that had been bleeding were frozen, and more parts of his body were still slowly freezing over time. As a matter of fact, his entire abdomen had been frozen solid and was slowly beginning to creep up on him.
"You don't look so good," I remarked.
"I-I've had worse..." Jaguar remarked.
Inside his hands, I could hear quite some cries and plenty of movement. When the source of the noise finally broke out, she stared right at Jaguar with tears in her eyes.
I'm not really sure I'll be doing that Imu intervention shit again, but I might need a second opinion.
Let me know what y'all think!!
Love y'all!!!!!
