Keeping Promises

"So that's what happened," I remarked.

"Even now, I'm detained under Vice-Admiral Jaguar's ship. I don't know where they plan on taking me, but it's either Impel Down or Marineford," Nico Olvia said.

"Well, it'll be useless to do that if you're not there to begin with, now wouldn't it?" I replied.

"If you can...I'd- I have to go," Nico Olvia immediately said as she hung up the call.

I put down the transponder snail and slowly walked back into the cabin. Grabbing my axe and resting it on my back, I was ready to head out to West Blue.

"Boris, I think we should be going with you," Stussy replied as she approached me.

"How long have you been listening in?" I asked curiously.

"I eavesdropped the entire conversation," Stussy admitted innocently, "things don't look too good for them; I think the World Government will probably want them gone."

The island of Ohara was going to be facing a buster call pretty soon, and the Vice-Admiral, who currently has Olvia, was going to be bombed along with the rest.

"That sounds about right," I replied, "I'll head on over and see how I'll be able to help."

"Why not let us come with you?" Stussy asked, "Hades can bring significant firepower to the fight."

"It's more about getting there in time than it is about me having enough firepower," I argued, "just meet up with Whitebeard and let him know what I'm doing."

With a kiss on her forehead, I went to the cabin before taking off to the sky. I already knew that Ohara was in West Blue, but the exact location was going to be harder to track down. Hence, I decided that I was going to be raiding a Marine base.

Soaring high in the sky, I flew by the numerous islands. I didn't want to stop until I got back to the Reverse mountain. I could see a storm coming from a distance, but I kept going, summoning two of my draconic heads to blast through those troublesome clouds. Punching through the storm, I finally managed to get back to the Reverse Mountain. Looking around, I couldn't see anything else aside from the turbulent sea and the stormy rain.

"This looks about right," I remarked while pulling out a map, "West Blue should be on this side of the Grand Line."

I immediately began racing towards the direction of West Blue with an increase in speed. Ohara wasn't marked on the map, so I had to race to the closest Marine base in order to get better information.

The Marine Base in question was a pretty good distance from me. However, I eventually managed to reach the base without any complications.

Looking down on the Marine Base, there were several huge ships that had been docked on the shores of the base. I could see multiple soldiers moving about, moving cargo and boxes to and from the ships.

I immediately landed right in the middle of the base, causing a huge explosion to cover the entire base.

"What the-"

"It's the Storm Dragon!!"

The smoke cleared as I heard endless footsteps of countless Marine Soldiers rushing to get into position.

Soon enough, I was surrounded by numerous Marine soldiers with countless weapons.

"Freeze Storm Dragon!!"

A singular pair of footsteps could be clearly heard as a Marine soldier who was a bit stronger than the rest walked up to me. The man had a white suit coat along with white pants. However, his shirt was orange, and his tie was black.

His facial appearance was rather handsome but something that could have easily been forgotten.

"To what do we owe the Storm Dragon the pleasure?" The man said with a silk voice.

"I need to borrow your map for a bit," I replied, stretching my left and right neck to loose up those tense muscles.

"For What business? I don't remember us Marines having to cooperate with Pirate pieces of trash like you," The Marine chuckled softly.

"Well, I was asking nicely..."

I let out my Conqurer's Haki and ended up knocking everyone out save for the man with the white suit. The man in question wasn't too amused by the sudden turn of events.

"It looks like I'll need to intervene personally," The man said confidently as he removed his Marine coat.

"I just need a map..."

The man drew out a longsword as he coated it with Armament Haki.

"It's been a while since I've had to use my Armament Haki, but I'm sure I haven't gotten too rusty..." The man bent his knees as he poised himself to strike.

I didn't give him the chance to attack, however.

I immediately appeared right in front of him before slamming my fist right in his face. I felt blood, bone, and teeth break as I sent him flying through a couple of walls that were in the base.

Flexing my fist, I slowly walked in the direction that I had sent the Marine Soldier in, walking through all the walls that he had destroyed as he was sent flying. I was also looking for maps that could be of use.

"All of this could've been stopped if you just gave me a map, you know?" I commented as I saw the man struggle to get back on his feet, "I'm surprised that you can still get up."

"The will of Justice will persevere us no matter how turbulent times are; I won't let you have your way!!" The man said, his face in absolute disarray as he readied himself to attack again.

Looking around, I spotted a scroll that closely resembled a map. I walked over to it while ignoring the countless strikes that the man started delivering on me. He wasn't focusing enough to actually use haki, so the blade attacks did no damage other than create a sound that was akin to striking metal with more metal.

Opening the scroll, I managed to find exactly what I had been looking for and even more. It was a basic roadmap of the entire blue sea, along with a basic description of the GrandLine. It would prove to be even more useful than the map I had bought back on East Blue.

I pocketed the map before knocking the man out with another punch. He slumped over on his back before blood began squirting from his nose.

I didn't bother sticking around and started making my way back the same way I came. By then, the entire base was already informed of an intrusion, and countless soldiers were already gathered at where I had first landed.

Stepping out of the last hole in the wall that I created, I was greeted with an army of about five to six hundred soldiers. They all looked at me with a mix of difficult expressions; some were fearful, others anxious, and others with pure dread.

None of these emotions were positive.

Looking at them, it was clear that they weren't going to stop me from leaving. So, I simply spread my wings and took off in the direction of Ohara. I made sure to always keep an eye on the map to see if I could find any similar pieces of geography on the way, and sure enough, after a few days of landing on the wrong island and going in the completely wrong direction; I finally landed in Ohara.

Things weren't looking too good.

Let me know what y'all think!!!
