An Encounter With A Future Admiral

[ Third Person POV ]

Mariejois

Admiral Zephyr had grown tired of all the political conversation that was happening within Pangea Castle after the third day of the World Conference. The hidden attacks at fellow alliance members accompanied by obvious taunts of war was beginning to make Zephyr rather annoyed.

He was walking out of the castle when he heard his transponder snail ringing. He picked it up promptly before listening in to what Fleet-Admiral Kong was going to say.

"Zephyr, since you are at Mariejois. Tell Borusalino that he needs to make way to one of the islands in the New World. He won't answer my calls, get him to do so," Admiral Kong briefly responded.

Zephyr responded in compliance before hanging up the line, and made his way towards the Marine offices of Mariejois. They had to establish offices on Mariejois because the Marines were a subdivision of the World Government. It was near the offices entrances where he found Borusalino smoking a cigarette quietly while reading a paper.

"Borusalino, you need to answer Fleet-Admiral Kong's calls. It's not good to be ignoring important calls like that." Zephyr chided lightly.

"Ohhh~ I never knew he was calling me....I should answer his calls then." Borusalino replied, his eyes flashing with a hint of curiousity.

Zephyr puffed before walking into the offices building. Leaving Borusalino to himself in the process, Borusalino took out his transponder snail before dialing Fleet Admiral Kong's phone. It was then, that Borusalino had gotten the gist of what was happening in the New World.

"As a result, I need you to go and keep an eye on Boris. You're not capable of stopping him, but you are the fastest person to get there. I'll be sending Garp on the way later on." Admiral Kong finished.

Borusalino responded in complience before turning into a beam of light and rushing towards the island. The island in question was still deep into the New World, so it would have taken a day or two for Borusalino to get to the island.

On the other hand, Fleet-Admiral Kong dialed his transponder snail attempting to get to Vice-Admiral Garp as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Garp was not picking up the call, he even tried to dial up Garp's surbordinate's lines; but the same result was achieved. Admiral Kong's veins could be seen pumping on his forehead as he huffed in frustration.

Kong leaned his back on his chair as he thought on what he should be doing instead. He knew he couldn't send Sengoku there because that would be leaving Marineford vulnerable to attacks. With menaces like Shiki roaming about, it wasn't a risk that Kong alone was willing to bear alone. The best that they could do was to trust in Boris' pacifist like nature not to destroy the island while he was there.

[ Boris POV ]

The Marine troupes laid on the ground unconcious as I held the collar of their Vice-Admiral.

They were incredibly weak for a group living in the New World, the Vice-Admiral was included in there as well. If it wasn't for the fact that I was keeping Ghidorah's nature in check, I wouldn't have made an effort to keep these pathetic weaklings alive.

Matter of fact, as I stood there in front of it. I could feel my instincts telling me that I needed to devour everyone within this entire island. It was a blissful temptation, teasing me with the possible ecstacy that I would be engulfing myself in should I decide to give in.

I briefly let go of the Vice-Admiral before turning back and getting back aboard on the ship.

"Hurry and get everything we need to do done. I won't be disturbing them, so don't let them disturb me." I ordered coldly.

Ken and the crew immediately nodded in compliance as I made my way back into the cabin. I was planning on taking a nap for a bit while keeping an eye on Stussy. Day by day, she was getting better. I could tell by the complexion of her skin, which was now paper white; just a shade lighter than her original pale complexion.

I woke up the next day to find Stussy staring down at me with a smile on her face. I could only raise my hand and bring her head closer to mines as I gave her a warm kiss. This kiss would have gone a lot farther, but I heard the yells of the crew outside. We immediately stopped fooling around and got our clothes on before leaving our cabin.

Outside, a man with short hair with a gray cap and a gray colored suit stood outside holding Ken by the scruff of his neck. He had orange shaded glasses, and he looked similar to a monkey about to commit mischief. Obviously, it was Borusalino a future Marine Admiral. His mastery over the Glint-Glint fruit gave him the title of one of the fastest people within the anime.

"Oh~ So this is the Storm Dragon that nations fear...tell me," Borusalino turned into light before vanishing.

He appeared right next to me with his leg extended high over his head in preparation for an axe kick.

"Have you ever been...Kicked by light?" Borusalino asked before throwing his light covered kick down at me.

I immediately covered my arm in haki and blocked his kick. The impact causing an explosion throughout the shore of the island. Damaging the ship even more, this kind of pissed me off because his actions had just made it harder to make it to the Grandline. At this point, we were going to have to steal a ship to make it there.

I threw his leg away, but before he could be thrown, he turned into light and appeared a bit of a distance from me. I guess he just wanted to test the waters, he promptly put his hands in his pockets and took out a cigarette and a lighter. He lit it before staring at me.

"I was ordered to keep an eye on you, you know? So please don't make things troublesome for me~," Borusalino stated.

I glared at him coldly before turning to look at the ship, the explosion he made had almost marooned us on this damned island. The ship was almost in shambles, even my favorite couch was scorched by the explosion. This annoyed me to no end, and the whispering voices telling me to commit carnage was not helping me calm down.

A splitting headache was booming in my head, It was like Ghidorah was trying to manifest himself and break through my head. The throbbing pain of the headache made me unconciously release my Conqurer's haki all over. Making my crew pass out, and I could see Borusalino fall on his knees as he tried to fight my haki.

I felt the cold touch of Stussy's hand, I opened my eyes as I looked at her. She had a worried expression as she looked up to me. I sighed tiredly as I released my haki and turned back to the ship. However, before I reached the deck I stared at Borusalino before saying.

"If you bother my men, I'll destroy this entire island and kill you all. Send Kong my regards."

With that, I went to my cabin to get another nap in. It seemed that it was the only way that I could get rid of this splitting headache.

Let me know what y'all think!!!!!
