Twenty Four

Raizel put down the barrier and Nathan rushed out and checked Raizel all over.

"Thank heavens you are fine." He looked around the road, there was no sign of anyone here. There was no smell of blood in the air, nor were there any bloodstains on the ground.

"Where did they go?" He then made a slashing motion across his neck with a grin on his face.

"Your hands are shaking," Rauzel said with a trace of pity in his eyes.

Nathan put his hands into his clothes, "You must be seeing wrong."

Of course, he was still scared, this was the first time he was robbed and he couldn't even call Noah or even the Union.

He felt like the more he travelled with Raizel the more he was dyed in criminal colours. The experience was definitely scary but at the same time, it was incredibly exciting. This was probably what those who were lured into the underground organization felt like.
