After Diego left his office. Dahlia followed behind, "diego!" She called. He ignored and proceed towards his car. "Diego! I'm talking to you! Really? Is this how you will treat me now?" She tried to increased her pace to stop him fast. But, he quickly entered his car and drove off without looking back.

"Diego! Ughhhh," dahlia yelled in frustration. All she wanted was to talk to him, was that too much to ask. She just wanted him badly. The way he makes her feel was incredible. She wants to hold him close, to love him, to ravish him. yet he is so far away. Whatever will she do to win him over, He's always this arrogant and pushes her away, every single time!

Isn't she beautiful? Isn't she hot? How does he even manage to walk past her without staring, no even once. Everyone else does. How? He really is a cold-blooded.

But now? She won't give up! Now it's time to push harder. She will win him over, no matter what. Even if it means, compromising anything to get what she wants. She's capable.

Diego arrived home. He came out of his car and proceeded into the mansion. The maid Stella, greeted him at the entrance. "Good afternoon, sir." He nodded, taking off his wrist watch and handed it over to her. "Where is grandma?" He inquired.

"Grandma is having lunch, sir." Stella answered.

"Hmm, " he hummed softly, he took off his neck tie and fling it at her. "Take it to my room."

"Yes, sir." With that, he dispersed into mansion. He was about going upstairs to shower before having lunch. But, he stopped when he heard an unfamiliar voice in the dinning room. With curiosity, he walked into the dinning room. His eyes darted around until it landed on his grandma and a female figure sitting close to her.

Amelia was about saying her name, when she heard footsteps behind her.

She turned her head towards it, her blue eyes met with a gorgeous blue -gray eyes. His eyes held cold gaze while her's was of wonder.

Suddenly, her heart raced as he approaches her. She was lost in daze, staring at his glorious features. Darn! He was unwittingly handsome. She was busy staring when his voice broke through the air. "Quit staring, didn't your parents thought you, it's rude to stare." He snapped.

"Um...i

She tried to defend herself but fortunately, grandma broke the tension. "Diego, welcome back."

Diego head turned to his grandma's direction. His warm eyes lit up as he greeted her. "Hi grandma, seems like you are... having a discussion."

"Yes! Sit down and join us, and have lunch you must be starving." She ushered She cleared her throat, and turned to Amelia, "dear? This is diego, my grandson, the one i told you helped me brought you to the hospital."

Diego sat down, rolling his eyes at his grandma's speeches. He didn't need introduction, everyone in this town already knows who he is so, psssst! They is no way she wouldn't.

"Oh! Um...hi" Amelia waved nervously, his cold gaze seems to scare her. Diego didn't answer, he just glared at her before turning to grandma's direction. "Grandma, we need to talk." He stood up to leave before adding, "now!"

"Okay,". She stood up as well, "dear, i'll be right back." After she left, Amelia breathe a sigh of relief. She was really nervous sitting close to such a handsome man. His cold gaze approved that he definitely doesn't like her. I mean why would he? She stared at her reflection on the steel cutlery. Her hair was ruffled and spreading all over, dark circles under her eyes. And her clothes—gosh! She looks like straight out from a gabbage truck—she sighed, 'i need a bath' She stood up to walk around, maybe she can find a spare bathroom in this big house. She can't continue like this.

Amelia walk out of the dinning room, and proceeded through the large empty halls admiring the fancy arts on the wall when she heard hushed voices, well, the other wasn't. She paused and hid close to a large flower pot. Curious, she leaned in close to eavesdrop. Amelia gasped quietly when she heard the two familiar voices talking.

"I have listened to you and let her stay. But... the deal was to let her stay till she wakes up and now she's awake. Diego's stern voice cut through the air.

"But, we can't just tell her to leave when she is just recovering!"

"No! Grandma, she... will have leave."

"No, you can't do that!"

"I can do whatever i want, it's my house!"

"She doesn't remember anything, diego."

"For goodness sake! Grandma, you believed her? You don't even know her."

"Yes i do, she's saying the truth. She's been asleep for 8 months, what were you expecting."

"I don't care! I'll take her to the police and they can find her family whereabouts and inform them. See? Family reunion!" He concluded.

Amelia eyes widen with terror as she heard his last statement. The one that made her stomach curled and her heart stopped. No! She can't leave. She wants to stay! She can't go back to them, those people who tried to sell her. No! She wouldn't. For her to go back there and sell her self to him. Never! She will do what it takes to stay, even if it seems diego don't trust her. She will win his trust and stay. Besides, she will just lie to them and make them believe her. How hard can it be?

Amelia nodded her head determined, snapping out of her thoughts before quietly tiptoing backwards to her previous location. Once she reached the dinning room, she sat down and continued her meal pretending to have not left.

In the meantime, Diego and Grandma arrived back into the dinning room. Grandma held a sour expression. But, quickly concealed it with a smile. She doesn't want her go. At least, not until she has regained memory. It was kind of nice, to have some company, mainly because diego was always busy, and not having enough time for her.

She looked at amelia with loving eyes while diego simply stared annoyingly, "can't you eat properly?" He glanced at her, struggling to use her cutlery. Although she was fine using just a spoon until his arrival, now she has to be modest to win his trust.

"S–sorry," amelia apologized in embarrassment. Back at home, they don't use cutleries to eat so this was new to her.

"Diego, please let her be."

"Whatever," He scoffed, "but, this is my house and she... needs to follow the rules."

"What are the rules?"

Amelia asked nervously as diego turn to face her." Don't eat like a pig!" He mocked, looking at her in disgust.

"Oh? O–okay, then." She answered, not wanting to offend him.

"Anyways... dear, you were about telling me your name. If you remember it." Grandma butt in.

" I ...

"If you don't, i can give you a a name, if you want." Grandma suggestions excitingly.

"Well... that ... would be nice, thanks"

"Hmmm? How about Catherine? Or ...

"Clara!" Amelia spoke a little too loud. But she missed the look in diego's eyes, as he stared at her suspiciously.

"Huh?"

She cleared her throat before speaking, "I'd like to be called 'clara' if... you don't mind."

"Okay then, clara it is."
