The Runaway Bride found her unexpected love

I know what i'm about to do will be bring me trouble. But, i have no choice, i have to save my life by escaping from the evil man. My parents forced me to marry him, because of wealth. 

It came as a shock to me, when i was informed i will be getting my married in a week time. To Leo Rodriguez, the first and only heir of Rodriguez family. These are one of the richest people in Mexico. He was an abusive and a feared man among the city. He is cold blooded, and a bad tempered. From the rumors, he was said to be very possessive. That he gets what he wants no matter how. And here i am, chained in my own room because he gave strict orders to not let me leave the room. He ordered to get me chained and locked inside my own room, and my parents could not do anything but comply. 

I begged and pleaded for my parents not to sell me like that. But to no avail. I had to take matters into my own hands. 

There was no way i was getting married to that kind of man. I had already planned my escape today, it will be the day where i will escape this hell home and this stupid marriage with... that tyrant man. I wasn't going to attend the wedding and i knew it. I just needed to find a way to distract my mom into letting me be alone for a while. I watched blankly as she added the finishing touch. "There! You are ready." She spoke with excitement. I just looked at her with tears in my eyes. As flashes of memories flooded my brain, i remembered when she hit me, because i confronted her about forcing me into an arrange marriage. It was horrible the way she yelled at me I closed my eyes, forcing to bit back my tears not wanting to look into hers. All i could see was disgrace, that i am not accepting this marriage whole heartedly and happiness, that i am at least agreeing to marry him. My entire life, i always did what will please my family. But now—now is time to please myself. 

I shook those thoughts out of my head and wiped off my tears.

"Amelia," Mom called out softly.

"Yes." I answered plainly. 

"I am so proud of you that you are finally getting to your senses and listening to your mother." Mom said, amazed. I scoffed at her statement. 

"As far as i know, i don't have a mother!"

"Oh don't be so harsh, Amelia."

"It's you..who is harsh, You better stop this marriage or else...

"Or else what! Lia—She suddenly snapped her head to looked at me in anger. "You... are NOT! going to ruin this for me, you hear that!"

"What kind of a mother are you, forcing your own daughter— to an arrange marriage, Why?"

"Because i'm a mother who knows what's best for her daughter. Now shut your mouth and get ready, i will go check if the car has arrived to get you okay? Don't ruin your make over." With that she stormed out of my room. 

I bit back my tears, i needed to stay strong. I stood up taking this as an opportunity to start my escape. I tiptoe to the door, peeking through to see if they was anyone in sight. No one, coast clea, locking it shut. I walked back to my room and opened opened my windows wide; that was my escape route. And jumped out, quickly getting up and closing it shut. Since it was just an apartment, i was able to jump through.

After that, i proceeded to tiptoe through the back corridor; so she won't spot me easily. I tiptoed into the bush and hid. Realizing i was out of sight, i sprinted off to the street, running for my life. I need to keep running, i ran until i could no longer breathe properly and i couldn't see clearly either. I was suddenly feeling tipsy and weak. So i layed down for a bit after regaining my energy. I continued my journey to an unknown direction. My tummy rumbled, i was feeling hungry; who knows how long i have been running. Probably, all day long. I searched around trying to find what to eat, i couldn't think straight. My eyes became blurry, as i staggered feeling dizzy. I was trying to cross to the other side when suddenly... a vehicle came out of nowhere, i gasped terrifyingly. I couldn't move a muscle. I tried but i couldn't. Before i could regain my shock. The car ran me over. 

"Ahhh!!" I screamed in pain as i fell to the ground with a loud thud as blood gush out my head. I was bleeding, I tried to move, no way, i wanted to scream but couldn't. My vision became blurry as darkness blinded me. My body became limp.
