Mingled Identities

[Minutes after Jean and Azure devoured Megiddo]

"We look normal now…. Well I do, you still have a halo and eyes on you hands" Jean said as he pointed to the top of her head.

"How the hell do you look normal? You still have four eyes, two horns" Azure said as she hid her hands.

"These don't count…" Jean said as he covered his horns.

"…. I don't have my steps anymore!" Azure said in surprise.

"Oh shit!…. Neither do I" Jean said following up with her surprise.

"What are we supposed to do now though? We devoured the doors and the only exits we know" Azure said.

"…. I don't know, I guess we just gotta wait until Sefra or Celes wake up" Jean said before wind start circling around them.

"What the fuck" Azure said before they both disappeared.

When Azure and Jean reappeared they were in a bright room filled to the brim with different types of overwhelming m.e. As they looked to the source of the m.e, there was over a dozen gods sitting at a large table, in the middle of a discussion.

"If they're a threat why don't we just kill them and get it over with already" God1 said

"They did us a favor and completed our request, rewarding them with death will create more work for us" God2 said

"With the strength they're at now, keeping them alive is more or less dangerous for us. We should've picked the ones from the Aemoura continent" God3 said.

"What's done is done. We brought them here after an exhausting fight, the least we could do is give them a reward" God2 said a she looked around.

"They seem disinterested in all of this, are you sure they even want a reward?" God4 asked.

"The reward is whatever they desire, all humans desire something… it's just in their nature" God2 said.

"They're probably too shocked to speak or something especially with so many gods together" God5 said.

"Anyway before we get to the reward, I have a question for them, if they don't find of course" God6 said.

"Now that you brought it up, I also have question" God7 said.

"Go ahead. We don't mind" Jean said.

"I'm sure you know about the progenitors of magic elements and what not, so my question is, how did you two manage to take out a whole religion and two gods. Where did you get that strength from? I mean it couldn't be from your familiars because they don't have nearly enough strength to take down a progenitor much less a god" God6 said.

Before Jean or Azure could answer the question, another god spoke up. "That's a frivolous question" she said.

"What do you mean? Are you familiar with these two?" God6 asked.

"You could say that. These two existences as of on this planet is abnormal, their appearance is just like those 9 kids from the Aemoura continent but much more destructive, their appearance here was the exact reason New York was turned to dust" God8 said.

"So when they came here they had no control of their mana" God2 said.

"Yes, they were practically babies. My human hired two of the strongest light and dark mages to teach them how the world works" God8 said.

"I knew we should've investigated that more, we could've probably done something about them" God3 said.

"Lady Gaia, knowing how strong they were, you kept their identities hidden from us" God1 said.

"At the time there was no point in revealing this information as you all decided to pay no mind to the incident, if you hadn't and wanted press further investigation than I would've revealed such information earlier" Lady Gaia said.

"She's right, there's no need in questioning her loyalty especially after she's done so much" God4 said.

"We apologize for holding you here for so long, that wasn't our intention. What would you like?" God2 asked.

"Send us to the Retotyo empirical continent" Azure said.

"Is that it?" God2 asked before they shook their heads.

"…. Alright" God2 responded before another God snapped his fingers.

Once the god snapped his fingers, wind started to wrap around Jean and Azure. Their bodies started to disappear and the wind started to get tighter until it was only an inch thick which immediately disappeared afterwards.

"They both look awfully familiar" God9 said.

"Does he have any siblings? Like a twin brother?"Lady Kuraokami asked.

"Neither of them have siblings besides the children of Truw Drausa" Lady Gaia answered.

"Have you seen him before?" God2 asked.

"A couple years ago, he had a lightning m.e and was learning how to use ice magic… his hair was the opposite color so was his eyes" Lady Kuraokami said before God9 slammed his hand on the table as in surprise.

"He looked like one of the nine kids who came to this world decades ago, he looks exactly like him the boy who killed a progenitor and the girl, she looks just like Scarlett, the human who killed two of the fire gods in the corrupted faction" God9 said.

"Do you think they're doppelgängers?" God4 asked.

"That would be impossible since doppelgängers can only have the opposite magic type, it's original have" God10 said.

"Among all of us gods, do we only have so little information about these humans?" God11 said.

"No, there should at least be one god or demigod outside of this room that knows more about those nine kids. We need to check which human took them in, then we'll check whose under a contract with him" God10 said.

"It shouldn't take that long, Lady Gaia how much power did those two have, after they learned the basics" God2 said.

"I'm not sure but from what I was told their mana is friendly" Lady Gaia said.

"What do you mean?" God1 asked.

"Although their two magic types are supposed to oppose each other, if they were to lose control of their mana, they would mix together and create an explosion enough to destroy the worlds color, but with their strength now…. It's probably enough to destroy something even more untouchable" Lady Gaia said.

"Don't you find it questionable that they wanted to go someplace other than their home and that place happens to be the closest continent to Aemoura" God12 said.

"It's suspicious indeed, we should send a couple demigods to watch them" God2 said.

"Sir Vayu, where did you send them?" God12 asked.

"Under my own suspicion, I sent them to two random spots which are more than 30 miles away from each other, the first spot is near an Retom's 5th army unit, the next spot is unfortunately despicable 3rd bandit camp. For the sanity of the people I've made sure they were miles in the sky so the m.e won't be detected, I didn't expect my wind to be so cruel" Sir Vayu said.

"They looked sane for the most part so there shouldn't be any problems with the army unit" God2 said.

"Still the repercussions of this may bring some to insanity or death, we need a permanent replacement…. Immediately" Sir Vayu said.

*Knock Knock* A god opened the door only seconds after knocking.

"We're in the middle of a discussion, what is it?" God12 asked.

"My apologies, F- Sir Odin but someone from the Nonbelligerent is here" God13 said.

"What are they- Send him in" Sir Odin said.

As the entity stepped to the side, A woman walked into the room, he immediately closed the door. She was in a blue dress with ice cold mist falling from her knees and two ice blue horns on the top of her head. She had an emotionless expression on her face, but her eyes were red as if she been crying.

"The daughter of the Ice progenitor, to what do we owe this unexpected visit" Sir Odin said in a worry full tone.

A chair was was formed and she sat in it, she said "The first Ice progenitor…. The ice dragon lord: Crywl…. Has unfortunately died" With each pause she choked on her words, still showing signs of grief to her father's death.

The Gods were left in shock due to the sudden news. For the next 5 minutes the gods stood silent, processing the words she had uttered from her mouth.

The place Azure landed in the woods. It was filled with beautiful red tree's with yellow branches, which wrapped around a fence that guarded multiple tents. The entrance to get inside was also right in front of her as well as a sign that read "Touyewns, 3rd combatant base". There was dust that surrounded her. She landed roughly and began to look around as she started to process that she was in a small crater.

"What the hell was that!?" Bandit1 said as he walked out of a tent.

"Since that sounded like an explosion. GO FUCKING CHECK IT" Bandit2 yelled.

"Having this would freak everyone out before I'm allowed to do anything" Azure said as the halo started disintegrating and the eyeballs started disappearing.

As soon as the eyeballs on her hand fully disappeared and the halo above her head disintegrated, the bandits were standing just a couple meters away. from.

"Can one of you blow this dust away" One of the men ordered.

As one of the bandits blew the smoke away with their wind magic, Azure was revealed. Sitting down in a white dress which faded into black by the time it reached her ankles, brushing her hair behind her left ear as her left ear had a black rose on it. The bandits were all speechless but she could easily feel the hostility leaking from them.

"GET THE FUCKING CAPTAIN" Bandit1 yelled in anger.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE, YOU FUCKING MONSTER" Bandit3 said yelled.

"What the fuck did I do?" Azure asked as she stood up.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING PLAY DUMB, THAT FUCKIG DISGUISE AIN'T FOOLING ANYONE- 4TH GENERAL SCARLETT, GET BACK ON THE GROUND" Bandit3 yelled as he pointed a weapon at her.

"What? Who the fuck is that" Azure said in confusion.

"What the hell are you motherfuckers yelling at?" Bandit captain said as he walked to the edge of the crater.

"Look" Bandit4 said as he pointed to her.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Bandit captain asked in a perplexed manner.

"I've never met you before" Azure said as she was starting to get pissed off.

"Destroying my country wasn't enough, you have to kill the remnants of it as well, FUCKING ATTACK THIS BITCH ALREADY" Bandit captain said "FUCKING KILL HER" Bandit captain ordered in anger.

Just as he made the order Azure immediately appeared in front of him and pushed her hand towards him. Her hand pierced right through his head.

"!…WHA- HO-…. FUCKING ATTACK HER ALREADY!!" Bandit1 said as he wrapped his hands in metal gauntlets.

As Bandit1 tried throwing an attack himself, Azure used the captain as a shield causing him to punch his captain his captain's dead body. Azure pulled her hand from the corpse's head and tossed it to Bandit1. The bandit's tried using long range attack but she disappeared and reappeared behind him, kicked his head off of his shoulders which ended up in another bandits hands as he instinctively caught it. As Azure's feet touched the floor, the two bandit's bodies finally collapsed.

The bandits tried going for another attack but Azure dodged all of them. And soon after started going after all of them with her daggers.

[Jean's situation]

Jean landed in a spot which was covered in blue trees with brown leaves which wrapped around multiple tents. Each of the tents had a symbol which had what seemed like soldiers bowing down to a king and his people. His landing kicked up a large dust cloud.

"CHECK THE NOISE QUICKLY IT MAY BE AN ATTACK" A soldier said as he rushed out of a tent with a two long swords.

"Yessir" Dozens of soldiers said as they rushed outside of their tents.

As the soldiers made it to the front of the camp they an abrupt stop as they noticed an edge leading to a large cloud of dust.

"Surround it" Soldier1 said as he raised his swords.

As all of the soldier surrounded the crater, the man swung both of his swords towards the dust which blew all of it away. As the cloud of dust was blown away it revealed, Jean who had a black suit on with white a dress shirt and shoes. He also had a white rose inside of his pocket square. Some of the soldiers seemed to be a bit terrified of him as if they seen him somewhere.

"WHY THE HELL IS THE 2ND GENERAL HERE?!, ARE YOU TRYING TO START ANOTHER WAR" Soldier1 shouted in anger.

"What the hell are you taking about?" Jean asked.

"YOU HONESTLY THINK JUST BECAUSE YOUR FROM ANOTHER CONTINENT WE'RE GONNA FORGET YOUR FACE?! YOU'VE MURDERED THOUSANDS OF RETOM SOLDIERS. YOU'VE DONE UNSPEAKABLE DAMGE TO RETOM'S ARMY" Soldier1 said.

"Not even minutes since I've met the first person here and they're already after my neck…. I don't even know what I did this time though" Jean said as his horns came back.

Soldier1 slammed his swords on the ground, making a thin sharp wall of stone started sliding towards Jean immediately but by the time it got to the bottom of the crater, he wasn't there anymore.

"Where the f-" before Soldier1 could finish his question, he saw two soldier's bodies slide down the crater.

All of the soldiers unnervingly started to look around but after each second, two to five would get their bodies torn off by chains. After half of the soldiers were killed, the rest of them tried retreating back into the camp while soldier1 watched their backs but as they started running away, tentacles appeared and started grabbing some soldiers while the chains ripped through the bodies of the rest.

"What the fuck is that thing….An imitation class mons-" Soldier1 said as he saw the tentacles and chains flying towards him.

As the tentacles and chains started flying towards him, it completely ignored soldier1. He was confused and tried to attack one of the chains but as soon as his sword made impact with the chains, his swords broke in half and pushed him away.

"Son of a-" Soldier1 said as his whole body glowed blue.

He wrapped his arm around the chain to stop it from going any further but it didn't help, all it did was rip through his skin, the pain made him release the chains.

"Damn it, Damn it, DAMN IT" Soldier1 said as he looked back.

As he looked back, he saw all of his soldiers being ripped apart or torn in half, the bodies that were already destroyed were being dragged into the crater. As he tried looking back at the crater, Jean was standing in front of him.
