CHAPTER - 6

Present Kaito muttered, "I was so shocked about my powers," followed by a strained laugh and a fit of coughs, blood trickling from his lips. "So I'm falling to my death, and I can finally feel it... One final message," he remembered, recalling the warning from his past self to not trust anyone. As his past self met a gruesome demise, impaled on spikes of eternal death, a smile etched on his face amidst the agony and bloodshed, Kaito's consciousness briefly clouded. He watched himself suffer, needles piercing his body, denying even his soul release from the torment. Then, abruptly, he returned to awareness, gasping for air and grappling with the panic of not understanding what had just happened.

Before him, a massive glowing circle materialized, adorned with arcane symbols, and he found himself transported outside a magnificent palace.

"I got teleported outside a palace?" Kaito exclaimed, bewildered by the sudden turn of events.

Two imposing figures, resembling humans but emanating an otherworldly aura, seized him and forcefully ushered him into the palace's grandeur.

Inside, the opulence of the palace overwhelmed him—a sprawling white structure reminiscent of medieval times, with ornate architecture and a mesmerizing water fountain at its center.

"Whoa... this place is incredible," Kaito remarked, momentarily distracted by the spectacle.

Surrounded by onlookers who regarded him with suspicion, Kaito felt an unsettling sense of powerlessness, despite knowing his own formidable abilities.

"Why are they looking at me like that?" he wondered aloud, the unease palpable in his voice.

Then, a figure of authority emerged—the King of Divinora—ushering in a revelation that Kaito was unprepared to face.
