The Awakening of the Tarantula Emperor

Aren was born without emotions. He couldn’t feel happiness, sadness, or even loneliness. He was unable to connect with his family or surroundings; the world always felt distant to him. Yet this never seemed like a deficiency to him, because he had no concept of what it meant to feel. Over time, he grew accustomed to living with this emptiness, relying solely on his intellect to understand the emotions of others. But then, a fight changed everything. For the first time, Aren felt emotions—pleasure, wildness, and a torrent of complex feelings that made time seem to slow down. This experience both shocked and captivated him. Somehow, this new discovery felt like it had completed a missing part of him. Gradually, Aren began to realize that what had blocked his emotions was, in fact, a unique ability within himself. But what would learning to control this ability bring him? What path would he be led down as he uncovered emotions he had never experienced before?

Aren lay motionless on the ground. The Tarantula Emperor had accessed the depths of his mind, assimilating all his memories and abilities. As the powers of the tarantula flowed into Aren's body, his form underwent a rapid transformation. Broken bones creaked as they rejoined, and his severed arm smoothly returned to its place. The air around him had thickened; a powerful aura radiated outward, almost tangible with raw might.

The Delta team initially failed to comprehend the situation, but their instincts whispered that something was amiss. As they quickly turned around, they were met with the sight of Aren, rising once more before their eyes. He stood, an embodiment of a nightmare.

Alexander's eyes widened in shock, a mixture of fear and disbelief washing over him. His voice trembled, barely a whisper. "This... is impossible. He was dead!"

The Delta team immediately took up a battle stance, but Aren's steps were silent and menacing. In an instant, he appeared right before Alexander. It was a blink of an eye. The others stood frozen in shock. In Aren's gaze, there was a chilling calmness. He lightly clenched his fist and delivered a blow to Alexander's abdomen that, though seemingly simple from the outside, contained explosive power. The ground shook, trees trembled as if uprooted, and cracks appeared deep in the earth. As Alexander's bones shattered, the horrific sound fell upon the Delta team like a curse. Alexander's body hung in the air for a brief moment before crashing to the ground, lifeless.

Sebastian gazed at his fallen friend's body, a cry of despair erupting from him. "Alexander! No!"

The Delta team faced Aren, who was now a completely different being.

Isabella moved without hesitation, ready to strike at Aren with her claws. However, before she could attack, Aren vanished from sight. Isabella paused for a moment, terror etched in her eyes. "Where did he go?"

She tried to turn, but it was too late. Aren moved with lightning speed, appearing behind Isabella and seizing her neck in an iron grip. With a single motion, the sound of breaking bone pierced the forest. That crack was not only the sound of bones breaking but the shattering of the team's hopes. Isabella's body crumpled to the ground like a dead leaf.

This time, Sebastian was filled not with fear, but with pure rage. "You will pay for this!" he shouted, his eyes bloodshot. Aren merely wore a cold, mocking smile.

Silently, he moved his fingers slightly, and deadly webs woven from black silk materialized in the air, swirling around them like invisible traps. Unaware of the traps, Sebastian charged toward Aren. With each step, more pain washed over him, as if his body was being sliced by invisible knives, leaving him with deep wounds.

Sebastian groaned in agony, looking down at his blood-soaked body in disbelief. "What... kind of ability is this?" he asked in a low voice, but there was no answer. With a quiet fury, Aren slowly closed his palm. In that instant, Sebastian's body disintegrated into thousands of pieces, seemingly evaporating in mid-air. Blood flowed like a fine mist, leaving behind only a heap of torn flesh. Aren's webs were lethal and inescapable.

The Delta team was completely annihilated. Aren approached Isabella's lifeless body with silent steps. He bent down, placed his hand on her heart, and with one swift motion, ripped it out and consumed it. "Delicious," he murmured, licking his bloodstained lips.

His eyes caught sight of a massive tarantula hiding among the shadows in the distance. Smiling, he said, "You can come out. The battle is over. Come and feast."

The spider moved quickly towards the corpses in front of Aren, tearing into the remains.

Aren noticed a card lying on the ground and picked it up.

Aren carefully examined the card. "Genetic Control Office," he whispered, his eyes filling with dark hatred. "So they sent these to kill me. Now my new target is clear... I will hunt them all down, to the last one."

Before setting out, he wove a sleek black silk outfit that fit his body perfectly. The dress was tailored, made from black silk. The neckline was slightly open in a V-shape, with long sleeves tapering to the wrists. Two thin straps crisscrossed at the chest. The fabric was slightly shiny and moved elegantly with each step.
