Yumiro arrived safely at Roshy's precise location. After forcing himself to be separated from her.
His main goal here was to re-learn his taekwondo techniques, as it had been four years since he had used them.
...
Yumiro raised his hands and displayed 13 red gleaming crystals in each grasp, despite the fact that they were not conversing. More than likely, by the time he vanished from Roshy's perspective, he had already fought 13 monsters at the same time.
"W-Where did you get the core of those monsters?" Roshy stuttered, even though Grim presented valid evidence to persuade her, she believed her eyes were deceiving her.
In her mind, if he literally fought 13 monsters at once, how come he didn't take any damage? Even blemishes?
"Grim, where did you that?" She asked in a perplexed tone.
Yumiro knitted his brows. "What exactly do you mean by this red crystal? I'm just lucky to have gotten it from the local monsters here." He said coldly. "If you don't want this, I'll hide it, inventory."
Then he stood up in a spot where a gentle breeze caressed his skin and moonlight shone in his eyes.
"What is this sensation?" As he began to feel more at ease in the environment, he asked himself this question.
Ding!
Then, all of a sudden, Yumiro frowned his brows as the elevated blue view screen appeared right in front of his eyes, along with a continuous dinging tone, causing him to return to his original states.
[+13 free attributes!]
[+1 skill point!]
[New ability! X kick lvl.1- kicking in mid-air and forming a pin-point X. Fatigue cost:5]
The dinging tone eventually stopped after he had received all of the system's notifications.
"Excuse me, G-Grim, but how did you actually annihilate the 13 monsters?" She asked with a trembling voice.
"Annihilate? Oh, I just defeated them with monster's claw, inventory..." He drew an item from his inventory and displayed the black rabbit's claw, which still had blood on the sharp edges.
"That's not what I mean. To be more specific, what kind of power did you use to eliminate them all? Please tell me..." She inquired once more.
"I didn't do anything but kill them."
She sighed in frustration because she couldn't get a reasonable answer from him, and she wondered why he was acting like a mysterious adventurer.
'Hmp! That Grim, he's even more arrogant than I thought, but the issue here is, why is this man concealing his weapon from me?' She uttered to her mind and added. 'Additionally, he only needs three more levels to awaken his zexel.'
On the other hand, Yumiro was perplexed by the elevated screen as he pondered how he would use the free attributes. While Roshy was next to him, she was trying to get a glimpse of his character status because she was curious about Yumiro's power.
"Can you go the distance, Roshy? I'm not happy with what you're doing right now." Yumiro said coldly, then took a step back as he reminded him of the events four years ago.
She looked at him, thinking that the man in front of her was picky. Nonetheless, she took a step back and increased the distance between them.
The two adventurers in the rank-F forest had been separated, and Yumiro sat beneath a 20-foot-tall tree. While Rosh sat 12 meters away from Grim.
After a few seconds, Yumiro returned his gaze to the function screen.
"I'd like to rest here for a few minutes because my fatigue is almost drained. But if you're in a hurry, you can leave." He removed all the tabs that flashed his eyes by clicking the X icon on the screen. Furthermore, he had no idea what he should do with his free attributes.
"All right, let's take a break. Since I need to find something in the system function." She replied in an irritated tone.
After their conversation, he slowly closed his eyes and took a power nap to recover from the fatigue he had suffered during his last battle with the monsters.
"Once I reach level 10, I'm going to avoid this man, he's dangerous," Roshy said.
Pop!
A blue view screen flashed before her eyes, and she saw the various types of system functions. "After I awaken my Zexel, I'll join a guild with a good reputation to help me strengthen myself." Aside from that, I'm looking forward to going on an expedition in the high-level dungeon to collect some useful loot.
She kept scrolling and scrolling, but eventually, the other system functions were disabled, leaving only the map and character status available.
The system appears to have restricted some functions for all of the newcomers to the VR world. Nonetheless, the fate of the adventurer in a perilous location is determined by their playing style.
After 10 minutes, he slowly opened his whiskey eyes, and the moonlight shone back into them.
"I'm fine now; we can go." He pushed himself up into a standing position by placing his hands in the gleaming green grasses.
She nodded her head at him. "Okay, but before we continue this expedition, I'd like to inform you that I'll end this party once both of us reach level 10," She spoke clearly and without stuttering.
"All right, then." But the free att bothered him, so he confronted her. "I'd like to know how the free attributes work. Or do I just put them wherever I want?"
She shook her head. "No, your free att must be placed in the stats where your character specialized." She smirked, thinking that now was the time to test his ability. "Because I'm specialized for wielding a sword, I mostly put my att in agility, strength, and dexterity to properly handle my swords. The other stats will be filled in once you've decided on a sub-class. What about you? What is your ability?"
"Oh, me? I'm only using my feet, but I'll try to find weapons that will suit me."
"What do you mean kicking? Martial arts, perhaps?" She chuckled, knowing that wasn't going to happen if he ran into any strong monsters.
"Ah, Taekwondo, I'm just putting my previous knowledge that I use in the real world."
"What do you mean by "past skill"? Are you a middle-aged man?" She raised her brows, intrigued by the young man's abilities.
"No, I'm still an adolescent. Don't bother asking; it's already buried." He mocked her, then sauntering to the right side of the forest, where the monster usually growled.
"Buried? What is he on about? He is literally behaving in the manner of a mysterious man." She murmured to herself before following Yumiro into a much darker section of the forest.
Yumiro pondered his widescreen after they finished their conversation.
"I've never played an RPG in my life, but I'm not stupid."

"Is it sufficient? I made use of all of my abilities." While staring at his widescreen, he kneaded his chin.
His body suddenly emitted green light, and he felt light, and his airways expanded. He appeared to be able to fight for two hours without tiring.
"It's a fantastic feeling." His determination pushed him to achieve his goal despite his lifeless eyes. But it wasn't for her sister this time.
"If this world gives me a chance, I'll try to find a cure for my illness."
