Scheme of a Bored Demon

A/N: Hello guys/ladies, I know I said that it will be on a hiatus but I just couldn't resist posting another one. Please note that while I will try to publish the next ones as well, they might take longer or maybe not at all till the previously told date.

Pathetic, it was the only word that came to mind when I thought of Velzard.

Overconfident, Jealousy flowing in heaps, at what not. For a moment, I was even hesitant to believe that Little Vel would actually consider her his sister.

Looking at the one before me, trying to use one of Veldanava's Ultimate Skills was Velzard, her huge dragon form impaled by spears that I bombarded on her from the sky.

Her trying to use 『Ultimate Skill: Lord of Patience, Gabriel』 only made her look more pathetic than she already did.

"Damn it, WHY ISN'T IT WORKING?"

She bellowed with a roar. But seeing how desperate she looked, I decided to enlighten her a bit.

"The 『Ultimate Skill: Gabriel』 is a part of the seven Virtues, that each have a part of Vel's authority creation"

I began, I wasn't going to tell her what's beyond this world just yet. 

"And it just so happens that my Authority is higher than his"

"SHUT UP"

I sighed at her outburst. She can almost be considered a brocon with her attitude, wait no, I guess she already is one.

"I will give you some time to think"

I spoke, as I clenched my blade.

"Moon Breathing: 4th Form; Severing Eclipse, Lunar Divergence"

I muttered as I lifted my fleshy blade above my head and swung it down, releasing a vertical slash that extended towards the Ice Empress.

The attack went unobstructed, as it cleanly cut the True Dragon's body in two.

She will reincarnate soon enough, and while she does, she can watch what's happening before she does return.

Whenever True Dragons die, they maintain their consciousness throughout their very concept. 

So, since the concept of deceleration existed in the Central World, she could observe wherever it was present.

Athena...

«Yes, Hajun»

Keep Velzard from returning for a week.

«Understood»

Hmm, now that that is done…

I turned to Rouge, who seemed to be on guard.

"Let's see how much you have improved, Mediator"

His eyes widened in surprise. Hmm, it seems he does doubt my intelligence.

"I have been watching everything all this time, Rouge"

His eyes narrowed, as he formed a sword with his intrinsic Skill 『Material Creation』 before dashing towards me.

I easily blocked his sword before it reached my neck.

Rushing at me again, he swung his sword repeatedly, faster and stronger than the one before.

But his raw power was still much lacking compared to when he was a Devil Lord in the Underworld, since in the central world, he had only recently become a Daemon Lord.

Hmm? Is he trying to copy my powers?

I throw him off with a kick to his stomach.

"Oi Rouge", He looks up with a frustrated expression, "Did you get an Ultimate Skill?"

"How did you?"

"So, you did huh"

I asked Athena, since he didn't want to tell me, receiving the answer to be 『Ultimate Skill: Lord of Pride, Lucifer』.

"So, Lucifer huh"

Rouge looked at me, astounded.

According to Athena, 『Lucifer』 is an Ultimate Skill which can copy the Skills of others to almost 90% of their Original Power, maybe it can use them at their full potential if it evolves.

It's a really good Ability, if only it was not restricted by requiring the person to be able to sustain the strain of using the copied Skills.

"I think I already made it clear Rouge, my power isn't derived from Veldanava like others'. So Skills of any sort are useless against me since I am not bound by the laws of this World"

CLANK...

I raised my eyebrow at Rouge's attempt to stab me with his sword.

 "I don't care about that", He roared, "I will take you on right here"

He rushed at me again, but I felt something different this time.

«It is concurred that Individual 'Guy' is using the copy of World System Skill 『Eternal World』»

Ahh… No wonder the effects are dampened, World System Skills are on a totally different league than others, not to mention this one's high energy cost.

"Tricks like these don't work on me"

I teleported behind him and hit his head with the blunt side of my blade. A big explosion erupted due to the impact which buried Rouge in the ground.

Unable to move, I looked at him with contempt, one that boasted a look of Absolute Superiority.

His face contorted before turning to one of surprise. 

«Individual 'Guy' has obtained the 『Unique Skill: Envy』»

An amused smile crept up my face, as I was filled with satisfaction at my plan being successful.

"Use that well, Rouge. Or you will stay 'WEAK' like you always were. If you don't disappoint me, I will call you by your new name"

I decided to give him an extra nudge, I wanted him to be stronger, enough to be able to rival my disciple, who I knew was still way stronger than him.

Athena, where is Vel?

«Individual Veldanava has been located at 'The Star Palace'»

Okay. I teleported to the location affirmed by Athena, only to find a tall bulky man with blue eyes and slicked-back blue hair. 

"Who are you?"

The man asked, to which I replied with my name.

"How did you get here?"

"Isn't it obvious, I teleported here"

I said nonchalantly. His eyes narrowed, watching me, as if analyzing me.

"Who are you anyway?"

He started at me for a moment before his lips parted.

"My name is Dagruel. I am the Guardian of this gate"

"I see", my lips curled upwards, "Then why don't you let me in, I have to meet someone, I think you know him as Veldanava"

His gaze soon grew fiercer.

"And what qualification do you have to enter?"

He asked. Hmm, I thought he would attack me like Feldway, but he seems calmer, maybe before he is wary of me.

I wiped away my smirk and let out an Aura comparable to his.

"Is this enough?"

He readied himself, ready to fight, as I summoned my fleshy blade in response, a smirk finding the way to my face again.

"STOP"

A voice boomed, stopping both of us from beginning the battle.

The one who spoke was an androgynous man with long black hair with shiny dots which looked like the night sky and blue eyes.

Dagruel exclaimed, bowing slightly in front of Vel.

"Hey there Vel"

Dagruel glared at with a side eye. 

"Hello, Brother" 

Veldanava's words and the smile on his face swept away the glare on Dagruel's face, leaving only one that was filled with confusion. 

"Let's talk inside"

After Veldanava gave a slight overview of our relationship, we left Dagruel to his thoughts and arrived into the Star Palace.

While in it, I received some looks of resentment, curiosity and further on by some Angels who had formed egos.

"So Vel, you really were bored weren't you?!"

"Yeah"

He replied, as we both watched a huge crystal which showed all the events that were happening at the same time.

Considering just how much further he had extended his Creation, it was not a far stretch to believe that he was bored out of his mind. 

The Worlds before I went to sleep is practically nothing compared to what it is now.

"I see you gave up your Nihilistic Energy, why is that?"

"When we first met, you said that I embodied 'Beginning' right?!", I nodded as he continued, "I always felt a uncomfortable when wielding the Nihilistic Energy, and considering what you said, I wondered if sealing it away would be better since I was no longer interested in creating more world but watching the one I had already created grow.

So, I sealed it away in a Dimension that arose as a counterpart of the Stable World's I created. And what I derived was quite true, the sense of being uncomfortable disappeared that instant. And now needing it any further, I just sealed it away totally"

"I guess that's true. You also split your authority into Skills and also shared a bit of your Administrative Authority with the 7 Angels."

"Hahahaha…that's spot on. So, why are you here?"

I sighed. I should have expected for Veldanava to catch up, he was really smart.

"Just wanted to ask what you were going to do from now on"

"Hmm", He stared at me before replying, "I will just watch. This world has so many possibilities and so many interesting people, it will be a lot of fun looking at that, especially that Slime and Human"

I smiled at his antics. He is the same as always. 

While it did intrigue me what sort of creatures were that Slime and Human were to catch his interest to such a degree, it would be better to look at it in the future himself.

"So, you know what I am trying to do?"

"Of course not"

My eye twitched. Why is saying that with such enthusiasm.

"Fine, I will tell you myself", He looked at me with a side eye, "Having this much power is boring, much more so than I thought. So I came up with an Idea. Why not restart as a human and begin from there, the journey would certainly be interesting wouldn't it"

Veldanava looked at me with an amused look. I was a variable factor he could almost never predict, so I guess this does make sense.

"I don't think it will make much of a difference. This world's skills will automatically be drawn to you, making it impossible to actually struggle with life"

"Don't worry, I already made plans for that"

"When will you begin?"

"Just after this", his eyes widened, "I also have a gift for you and Athena before I do"

Athena materialized right before me, a puzzled look dawning her face.

I created to spherical barriers in my hands and held it towards them, the one in front of Vel was one which radiated bright white light and the One on Athena's side was completely dark.

"Both of these are the 2 aspects of power I possess as Kokushibo having minute quantities of Origin Essence"

Their eyes widened as they began to tell me to stop.

"Don't worry, I won't die as even if I lack these", I lied since a death as a human would truly mean the end for me, the small fragment of the Original a.k.a. Hajun's consciousness, "Besides I have a way to achieve even more power than I do now"

They reluctantly accepted as I sent the sphere and embedded it into their souls.

"Veldanava, what I gave you is the part which contains positive energy while Athena has the negative part, one that you are suited for. Analyze it slowly and do not rush, otherwise it will completely destroy you, same with you Athena. You have a lot of time, analyze it and make it your own, and you will see what human's call a miracle"

Then, bidding farewell to Veldanava, I casted a reincarnation spell which engulfed me in a bright light. Athena tried to hop into my consciousness but was thrown out.

"You can't enter my soul now Athena, I will no longer hold the power I had to sustain you"

Her look changed to that of horror.

"Don't worry though," he looked at me with tears in her eyes, "You can meet me when I reincarnate, maybe as a sister Haha"

I laughed it off, as my vision went dark and my mind numb.
