Skill: Smooth Talker!

Bella was passed out on the bed but Jason knew he needed some fresh air to get his head in order. He felt his stamina drop but he was glad that Chronos considered the act part of his exercise.

Jason managed to use the remaining energy granted by Chronos to complete his workouts, this was what one would call a loophole and Jason had found it.

Bella passed out soon enough and this was what allowed Jason to get rid of the extra energy in his body and this granted him a little EXP.

And with it, he bought a skill that popped up, it was available the moment he acquired the EXP that totalled a meagre 10.

The skill he exchanged for this 10 EXP was called, "Smooth Talker,"

Jason bought it the moment he saw it because he knew that it would help him with ladies in the future but this wouldn't only apply to ladies but the men as well.

Sticky situations required a silver tongue. This was another passive skill but Jason encountered his first limit, he could only equip 2 passive skills concurrently.

He was supposed to feel sore but the moment he completed his task, it felt like his body was refreshed and all the stamina he had lost came right back.

Jason was beginning to understand that maybe this ability was more versatile than he thought.

Jason rested on the rails but he wanted to walk around to explore other places. Jason was walking when he heard Rachel and Lillian singing a song.

It was in a tone that was only audible if they got close enough to the room and Jason found himself smiling.

They had brought back a sense of normalcy to this chaotic world but Rachel could see the shadow of his feet beneath the door but she mistook this for a threat.

The song abruptly stopped and Jason didn't know why but he was on his way.

However, he soon heard the door creak open behind him and out came Rachel.

She had a change of clothes, she was wearing a baggy shirt but clearly with no bra because her huge breasts swayed at every motion. She had on a short that was barely visible due to how long her shirt was.

Jason had a glance before consciously forcing himself to look at her face because he didn't know how long he could keep his eyes at an appropriate level.

"Hey, Jason…" Rachel called out as she closed the door behind her and followed Jason.

"Hey, Rachel… Jason greeted her with a smile but Rachel looked visibly embarrassed because she realized that Jason had heard her sing.

"You heard all of it, huh?" Rachel muttered with an awkward smile.

"You sounded great! I would have asked if you were a singer in the previous world but if you were, I would have definitely heard of you!" Jason said and Rachel flushed red the moment she heard.

"You're just saying that to be nice…" Rachel responded.

"Hahaha! I wish that was the case, you could sing for me sometime if you want," Jason said and Rachel was surprised by how words seemed to roll off his tongue

"I will keep that in mind," Rachel responded to which Jason nodded.

The conversation was done and he was ready to move on, he began walking away but Rachel quickly asked.

"Where are you going?"

"I need some fresh air, I also need to stretch my legs… You could come with it if you want. I wouldn't mind the company," Jason muttered.

Rachel rubbed him off as a snob before but now, Jason was beginning to see her in a different light. She had this aura, the need to take care of others but Jason realized that such people tend to neglect themselves.

Rachel looked back, she looked hesitant, something that Jason noticed.

"Hey, Lillian! Will you be fine by yourself?" Jason asked, raising his voice a little loud.

Rachel tried to shush him because they didn't know what threat was around but Jason knew that no one was close by or they would have given themselves away by now.

The door soon reopened and all he saw was a hand coming out that soon turned to a middle finger right before shutting again.

"Yup, she will be fine…" Jason responded to which Rachel giggled. She took his offer and followed him down the stairs.

They soon reached the bottom floor and Rachel, the lady that always had something to say was suddenly quiet, she was a lot more feminine than she has been so far.

Luckily, with the two combined skills, Jason was a force to be reckoned with in the lady department.

"So Rachel, what is your story?" Jason asked, breaking the silence as they walked away from the motel but not too far.

This was perfect to get some exercise in but also bond on a deeper level just like Jason had suggested hours ago even though his idea was shut down with mockery as timing was very important.

"My story… It began when I was born in 1978.." Rachel said and Jason's jaw dropped the moment he heard her date of birth because this made her 45 yeards-old.

"Wait. Back the hell up!" Jason exclaimed as he stopped in place but Rachel couldn't keep up the act because she found Jason's reaction to be priceless.

"Fuck! You had me, Rachel. You had me!" Jason said with a sigh of relief as he nudged her slightly but Rachel flinched, something that Jason noticed.

"Are you okay?" Jason asked because he didn't want to do something that she was not comfortable with and hoped that he hadn't overstepped his place.

"H-Ha! It is nothing, we should head back," Rachel said, putting an abrupt end to the conversation and Jason realized that she had managed to leave his question unanswered.

"You're right.." Jason said as he followed behind her.

"That was weird…" Jason thought to himself.
