Chapter 012 First kill

-Konoha-

For one week, Kaite gave his three Genin teams D-rank missions. He didn't want to send them into battle right away; the jungle was too dangerous for untrained ninjas.

Kaite and the others were surprised by Menma's taijutsu talent. It happened while they were sparring practice with each other. His movements were very fast, and if you only blinked, that small guy would slip past and strike at that moment. Kaite could see it clearly, but even he had to admit that Menma's taijutsu speed and precision were impressive.

Menma earned a lot of money. He also took out his grandparents' money along with his own to keep it with him. He bought various talismans and other necessary items. He even bought armguards similar to Kakashi's. His grandfather had collected a few short swords throughout his life, so Menma didn't feel the need to buy one.

Kaite took them to the battlefield and had them deliver the message; they had to stay there and perform various tasks.

As soon as the enemy ninja came close to Menma, he received a chin kick with brutal force. Before any of them could register what happened, Menma's Tanto had already beheaded that guy.

The last one was distracted, but soon he was dealt by the Jonin Kaite.

Jonin Kaite was amazed at how decisively Menma had killed that guy. The small guy had joked with the enemy and then kicked him into the air before finally slicing through him as if it were a cold calculation. The other parties appeared to be low-level chunins.

Kaite checked her pockets and found some documents which they were supposed to deliver. However, they encountered the other party by mistake.

Menma checked the dead bodies collected the Ninja materials and handed them to his sensei. He suddenly said, "I need to pee, sensei!"

Kaite nodded to him. Menma went a little further inside the forest and started to vomit silently. He had never thought about killing someone, even if he was angry before. But he knew he could not show mercy and sliced through him with a blank mind. After vomiting and cleaning up, he came back to his team.

There's no need to say anything to the three of them; they have gone through this once before.

Soon they reached the secret camp of Konoha. Jonin Kaite said the secret password to enter quickly. They were able to deliver the documents faster.

Kaito had already reported the incident and also praised him for making his first kill decisively. The secret documents provided by the enemy also contained locations of infiltrating Iwa ninja. This would be very helpful for them. Some of their plans have also leaked to Konoha.

Orochimaru looked at Kaite and said, "You have done a good job. You and your team can rest. Your team should have someone who knows medical ninjutsu. Send him tomorrow to the injured shinobi area to help others. The workload has increased a lot for other medical ninjas. recently."

Kaite nodded his head and left that place. He had a full night's rest.

After returning, he took them to a separate room and instructed Menma to help him tend to the injured tomorrow. The seven-year-old nodded in agreement.

Menma also nodded his head and went inside to tend to the injured ninjas.

Kaite couldn't believe that the same kid, he saw last night had killed someone in cold blood.

Kaito left to meet his other two students.

Menma's arrival released some pressure off of the other medical ninjas. It was not much, but it was enough for them to breathe a sigh of relief.

The old ninja asked Menma, "Aren't you too young to be a ninja? You are here treating me like a medical ninja."

Menma looked at him and didn't say anything. Injured people often babbled a lot. After treating the wound on his chest, he moved on to another person.

A young person asked, "Have you ever killed anyone? It feels awful. I can feel something crawling under my skin."

He was treating a kunai stab near his thigh. After treating him, he said, "I killed someone last night. I just shut my mind at that time. I just told them Iwa ninjas are very scary. Then the next thing I knew, his head was rolling on the ground."

The young man is shocked to hear this. But when he asks again, "Have you not felt the guilt of taking another person's life?"

Menma stopped and looked at him carefully; that boy was probably around twelve years old, possibly a newcomer Genin.

Menma replied, "It's either them or me; I choose myself."

Everyone in the ward heard it. No one said anything. Menma went to treat another person. He also went to help other medical ninjas to perform surgery. His role is very small. But he always learns something.

After that, he helped in bandaging the injured patients. And his day was over.
