Chapter 5 Challenge and Determination

"I'm not surprised that extras like you have abortions. I got an A in the exams, I'm the one who's going to go to UA" Bakugo would say on top of a table and alerting Izumi since he knew whose voice it was.

"And I'm an S" A voice would say, making Bakugo angry.

"Who has said that?" Bakugo would shout.

"Yo, any problem with that, Kacchan?" Rimuru would say and the last thing in a mocking tone making him angrier.

"That was luck so don't believe it too much" Kacchan would say angrily.

"Oh yes, I was very lucky in literally all the exams" He would say in a mocking tone

(Now that I think about it, if my brother always sleeps in class and never studies at home, how is it possible for him to pass if he has never touched a book to study? He only did it because my mother forced him to study or because of his homework) Izumi thought.

"You want to fight unhappy?!" I would say even angrier Kacchan

"For my sake" Rimuru would say confronting Kacchan

"Although I know I'm going to beat you even if I have my eyes closed" Rimuru would say

"What did you say..." Kacchan would say but is interrupted

"Enough" The teacher would say, making them both stop.

"Tempest, now that I think about it, you and Midoriya also want to go," the professor would say, freezing Kacchan.

After that everyone would look at Izumi who had her head hidden on the table and would be about to laugh when someone spoke and it would take away everyone's desire to laugh.

"Does anyone have a problem with that?" Rimuru would say coldly, freezing everyone who was going to laugh.

"None" Everyone would say except Kacchan

Kacchan would go to the table and cause an explosion causing Izumi to fall off the chair.

"Listen to me Deku, you don't even have a weak Quirk, you HAVE NOTHING. So why are you trying to enter the same area as me, huh?" Kacchan would say angry

"Wait, you're wrong, I'm not trying to compete with you. It's just that it's my goal since I was little and if I don't try I won't know" Izumi would say scared.

"You say you're taking the exam for fun!?" Kacchan would say angry

"A thief, stop him" someone would shout

"Catch me if you can" A slime guy would say

"There are people who will be able to suppress his Quirk?" one said

"Yes there are" Said the silhouette of someone skeletal becoming very muscular.

(This morning's incident is on the internet, now I have to go and make a summary...) She would think but she would be interrupted by Bakugo taking his notebook.

"We still have things to talk about" Bakugo would say.

"What is that Katsuki?" A Bakugo classmate would say

"Analysis of heroes for the future? Pfff seriously? Midoriya" Another of Bakugo's classmates would say

"Don't worry about it, give it to me," Izumi would say.

Bakugo would cause an explosion on the notebook, leaving it practically all burned and leaving Izumi with tears in her eyes and scared.

"You're very cruel, Kacchan," Izumi would say, frightened.

After that, Bakugo would throw the notebook out the window and approach Izumi, placing a hand on her shoulder while smoke came out of his hand.

"For now, forget about entering UA's hero course, Deku, and the same goes for your brother. Don't get in my way or I'll crush you," Bakugo would say in a threatening tone.

And so everyone would leave through the door and Bakugo would say that if she wants to have a quirk, she should jump out the window and trust her next life. Izumi, angry, would turn towards Bakugo, but he would cause an explosion in his hand and give her a threatening look, making her unable to say anything out of fear.

After that, Izumi would go to pick up her notebook and see Rimuru standing there, so she decided to go ask him.

"Rimuru, have you seen..." She is interrupted by a notebook.

"This?" He would say seriously, showing her the notebook.

"How did it end up like this? Kacchan again?" She would say in a serious tone.

"Y-Yes, that notebook, how did you fix it?" She would say nervously.

"I absorbed it and took it out again," he would say calmly but then return to his serious tone.

"You still haven't answered my question," he would say seriously.

Knowing she couldn't deceive Rimuru or change the subject, she just nodded with her head down and heard a sigh from Rimuru.

"I leave you alone for 5 minutes and look what happens. What did they say to you?" He would say in a calm tone.

Izumi would tell him everything and his calm expression would change to an angry one, although he already knew what Bakugo had said to Izumi. It's not the same seeing it in an anime as hearing it said to your own sister in that world.

"Now I'm really going to kill him, he's gone too far with this," he would say angrily, heading towards Bakugo's house.

"That's enough, brother, don't do anything please," she would say, hugging Rimuru.

"Why do you always want me to do nothing?" He would say, calming down.

"Because it's not worth it," Izumi would say, looking at her brother.

Then Izumi would have memories of being told she was quirkless and that not even her mother supported her, but then she remembered her brother who always supported her and reminded her of the promise. When they were in a tunnel, Izumi decided to ask about the promise because it had been 10 years since they talked about it.

<Master, I sense the presence of an enemy.>

"By the way, do you still remember..." She is interrupted by a noise.

They both look back and see a slime villain heading for Izumi. Rimuru quickly rushes to Izumi, carrying her like a princess, which embarrasses her, and moves her out of the way, surprising the villain. The villain then decides to go after Rimuru, who doesn't know what to do. The villain catches up to him and starts suffocating him. Rimuru sees Izumi jumping in to save him and notices that All Might has also witnessed the scene. Before the villain can harm them, All Might frees Rimuru and places Izumi in a safe spot. Due to his speed, Izumi faints, and All Might delivers a powerful blow to the villain, scattering him into thousands of pieces.

"Don't worry, I'm here," All Might says as he launches a Texas Smash.

"Thank you, All Might," Rimuru says, breathing heavily as he looks for his sister.

"Sister!" Rimuru calls out, running towards her.

"Don't worry, young man, the girl is just unconscious from the speed," All Might says, reassuring Rimuru.

"I see," Rimuru says, calming down and placing his sister on his lap, patting her gently to try and wake her up.

All Might then puts the slime villain into a bottle. When he sees Izumi's notebook, he is surprised by the analyses inside. Rimuru notices his reaction.

"That notebook belongs to my sister. I have a question for you, All Might," Rimuru says.

"Go ahead," All Might replies calmly.

"Can my sister be a hero even without a quirk?" Rimuru asks.

All Might becomes serious and a little sad as he listens.

"When I met my sister 10 years ago, I saved her from a boy named Bakugo who was going to hit her for trying to save someone from him. So, I knocked Bakugo unconscious, and they left. That's when she told me she was bullied because she was quirkless, and her mother adopted me due to a problem I had. I try to protect her whenever I can, but Kacchan always finds a way to keep bullying her. Recently, he exploded the notebook you're holding with his quirk, and it was about to fall into a lake. I caught it before it fell and then repaired it with my quirk," Rimuru explains.

"And what is your quirk?" All Might asks.

"My quirk... I usually hide part of it from others because I don't want to be called a monster, but I'm a slime," he says, transforming into a slime.

"And what is it that you hide from others?" All Might asks, confused.

"I'm sorry, but I don't like to talk about it, although it's not something bad," Rimuru says, looking down and pretending to be sad.
