Playing Nice?

Staring at that purple haired woman rushing at him again the man panicked as he was still feeling with some of the after effects of the lightning coursing through his body. "So lightning is your element, well that's rare." He had only seen that element amongst a few people within his clan and they were one of the biggest in the city next to Satul and Reldir and it was quite a difficult element to train and use proficiently so most users of it were generally well known but he had never heard a word about the girl in front of him.

"But more importantly why does she seem so different now." Before he could tell she was obviously new to things like this from the way she was carrying herself and seeing her muscles tense up here and there but now she seemed like an entirely different person. "That was close." barely dodging her next attack he got rid of such useless thoughts as he concentrated again. Against her he had no room for distractions or he would fail.

Watching her attack miss Tearia grunted as she followed along again but this time she ended up smacking against something hard that wasn't there before. "A shield?" Looking at the man's arm where a basic silver shield extended from it she felt a little disappointment along with some relief knowing she wouldn't have to deal with an actual weapon this fight. "So they also have a defensive ability. Good to know." Now that it was brought out so early she could figure out how to deal with it as she fought if need be.

With her fist leaving the shield she kicked out aiming at her opponents legs aiming to stumble them but with a quick side step that was avoided as she was attacked for the first time since the match started "Too slow." Watching his fist come towards her that though crossed her mind as she ducked to the side and grabbed his arm pulling him towards her. However before they collided she stuck out her other hand and aimed right for his gut.

*Cough*

With him being unable to escape from her grip for a few seconds after being caught off guard her fist slammed into his stomach almost knocking the wind out of him as he stumbled back a little barely able to release himself as he got hit at the end preventing himself from losing right there and then.

"Tch, dammit."

With a bit of irritation that she lost her target near the end Tearia approached again but this time got cut off by a wall of earth that appeared in front of her blocking her way. "No wonder my lightning didn't affect them too much." Staring at the wall of ground that covered the entire arena she knew her opponent was just stalling for time to try and think of a way to defeat her well recovering as much as he could. "For such talk at the start he sure likes to play on the defensive all the time." Snickering a little in her head she started to destroy the wall before her though if this was her from a month ago she would never have done such a thing.

"My Grandfather's body alone was a lot tougher than this rubble." Whenever they fought and she managed to land a hit she always felt like she was hitting an unbreakable wall. Hell she still had some of the bruises left over from then so this pile of dirt wasn't anything to her when she compared it to that. "That being said It'll still take a minute to break it." Regardless she began smashing away as the man struggled on the other side and winced with each loud thump he heard knock against his wall.

*Thump* *Thump* *thump*

"Crazy." That was the only thing he could think of as he held his stomach steadying his breathing again after that last hit but thinking that wouldn't save him. "She's actually going to break through that so soon..." He was starting to wonder how strong she actually was at this point but he wasn't good enough to tell yet. "She can't be stronger than me right...After all I'm almost to the fourth stage..."but at this point he was honestly beginning to think he was going to lose this fight.

"What..can I even do at this point?"

From his point of view she seemed better then him in every area he could think of. "Wait...Maybe that could work?" With each thump he heard a small idea came to mind that might work but he wasn't too confident that he was right. "Worth a shot." Yet he had to try if not he would fail here and be disqualified before the competition even really began. "No, I can't let some newbie show me up." Looking up his breath finally came back to him as the sound of his wall breaking happened.

*Crack*

"Faster than I thought." Feeling the wall crumble Tearia was surprised it was even weaker then she thought but at least she got to save a little extra energy. Staring at the man a little bit away on the other side of the debris she smiled a slightly wicked smile as she slowly approached.

"Is this your first time? I can go easy on you, you know?"

In the same mocking tone she walked step by step towards the man while getting a little bit of revenge at the same time. She hadn't put all that effort in just to be looked down on for no reason and if her opponent didn't want to play nice she wasn't going to either besides she wanted to enjoy this victory as much as possible she at least deserved that. Ignoring all the other sounds around her she got ready to end this fight as soon as possible to make sure nothing else happened that might get in the way.

"Enjoy your loss."

Enjoy
