Chapter 6

-Koza's POV-

"Hello, Chuck." said a childlike raspy voice behind me. I quickly reached out for my gun, but I felt a small hand grasp mine with so much force that I couldn't move.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Chuck." repeated the voice, this time I could feel the amusement in her tone as she let my hand go. I quickly pulled out my gun while turning around, but to my surprise, there was no one.

"I did warn you, didn't I?" said the still voice behind me, making my eyes go wide but before I could do anything else I felt her boot hit me in the back flinging a couple of feet across the room.

On the ground I quickly turned around and only then did I finally see who I was dealing with. It was a short, lean, and pale girl with blue hair tied into two long ponytails that were a few inches off the ground. Her most recognizable feature were her glowing purple eyes.

As the leader of the Rebel Army, I had organized some pirate hunts to gather funds for weapons for the rebellion and there was no way I wouldn't recognize her. She was the newbie with a 75 million bounty.

"Good that you can recognize me, Chuck. That makes things easier," she said as she squatted in front of me.

"My name is not Chuck." I responded calmly on the surface but I was panicking on the inside, 'Did the king put her after me?'

"Don't mind the details Chuck." she said while waving her hand dismissing my response, "Plus I'm here to help. I heard you were the leader of the king haters."

My expression hardened quickly. It seems she does know who I am, but how did she get here without alerting any of my guards? Is she really here to kill me? She seemed to catch on to what I was thinking.

"Relax, I'm here to help. You see I have information from a good source, that your King is working with the Warlord Crocodile. You know what that means for your little squad right?" she said making me realize something.

The rain stopped and the sandstorms increased roughly around the same time Crocodile arrived here.

"What do you gain by helping us?" I asked seriously. If what she said is really true then I really might need her help. Even if she is lying I really have to give in to her demands to live through this encounter. I can't die yet without accomplishing my goal.

"Well, honestly the reason I'm helping is to give you a fighting chance. As is, you'll be obliterated by the other side and where's the fun in that?" she said as she stood up and walked to the side where there was a large chest I hadn't noticed.

"Inside here is a canon ball capable of destroying the palace in one shot," she said as she opened the chest and there was a canon ball that had a painted monkey face on it.

"Use it however you want," she said as she casually walked out through the door leaving me alone and confused.

Did she really just want some more chaos? She gave us this thing just to even the odds a little more so that she could enjoy us destroying ourselves.

'Whatever, for my country and its people, I won't hesitate to do anything.' I thought as I looked at the chest, 'Even using this.'

After delivering my gift and staying in Katorea for the night, I started my journey back to Nanohana in the morning. I couldn't miss meeting Mr Donut after all.

In about two hours, I quickly arrived back in Nanohana and I was greeted by chaos only the Strawhats can cause. The town was now vivacious, filled with Marines running around the streets probably looking for them. 

"Hello old man, have you seen this guy?" I asked an old man who was sitting behind a vegetable stall. I was holding out a picture of Luffy's big bro who was one part of my plans here in Arabasta.

"Ohh yeah, I have seen this guy. He was looking for someone but he gave up midway and entered that restaurant over there." responded the old man while pointing at a white building that was surrounded by a lot of people.

"Hey, I heard that someone died in this restaurant." said someone in the crowd.

"Really?" asked another.

"Yeah, he was talking with the bartender while eating before he collapsed into his food." continued the guy.

I walked past the crowd while overhearing their conversations and by the time I was before the shop's door, I was sure Ace was inside.

Luckily for me, inside the shop was Ace sleeping with his head directly in his plate while one hand was holding a fork.

'No need for a fight.' I thought as I pulled out some seastone cuffs and easily secured them on his outstretched hand. This jolted him awake, but he was now too powerless to do anything as he looked at me confused as I slowly finished cuffing his other hand.

"Sorry, couldn't miss the chance," I said as I threw him on my shoulder. Knowing Luffy and Smoker was going to come here, I placed his bounty poster on the table next to Ace's food. The crowd around us gasped when they saw his poster.

"He's from the Whitebeard pirates!!" someone shouted.

I carried Ace out of the building and made a run for it out of town. I needed a secure place to stash this guy until I was done with stuff on this island.
