Once he confirmed his customisation of the six Pokemon, Lance summoned them in front of him. He immediately removed all of the items from them, except from Slowpoke's King's Rock and lay them out on the floor. He also summoned King, Lance's Doublade, and presented the Dusk Stone to it.
King destroyed the Dusk Stone and it released a black energy which was sucked into him. King began his evolution and when he was finished, a golden and black Aegislash with small areas of red appeared. King had become six feet tall and became a single, much larger, sword as well as a large shield. Lance guessed that King would be too large for him to wield for the time being and decided to wait until he grew larger.
After this, Lance chose to summon all of his Pokemon at once, and in front of him eighteen Pokemon stood proudly. He proceeded to pick up the EXP share and activate it. Luckily, it was not like the old exp shares and it was instead the type which gave experience to all of his Pokemon, and hopefully himself as well.
He also put the macho brace on himself to double the speed of his training, as he did not know if there was a cap to the amount of EVs he could gain, but if there was not then he wanted to make his training as fast as possible.
The other two identical items which Lance retrieved from his Pokemon were light blue and in the shape of a pyramid with another pyramid connected to the bottom. These were EXP Candies of the Extra Large variant and would increase his Pokemon's levels by a lot. Well, the ones which eh fed it to at least.
He decided to call Mr.Fish forward as he wanted to feed both Exp candies to him. This was because Mr.Fish was incredibly strong and he wanted to make sure he had at least one high levelled Pokemon compared to the rest.
After feeding Mr.Fish the two candies, his level rose to 45 and he was obviously stronger than the others standing around him. However, something which should not have happened became apparent to Lance.
All of his Pokemon seemed to level up, and when he checked if this was true, all of his Pokemon had gained 20% of the experience from the candies which Mr.Fish had eaten. This was not how experience candies should work with the experience share, but Lance was not complaining. He hoped that his Pokemon would still get 50% experience from their fellow Pokemon defeating enemies as well as this new ability.
This meant all of his old Pokemon had levelled up at least three times, and his new Sandile had become level 25, his new Slowpoke was level 22, his new Rookidee was level 25, his new Munchlax was level 21, his new Shieldon was level 19, and his new Snom was level 22.
Due to this, Soldier the Rookidee had become a Corvisquire and was now a large white and dark green bird with a blue beak and feet, as well as red eyes. This was due to the immediate jump in level which surpassed level 18.
As well as this, Mecha the Tinkatuff had evolved into a Tinkaton at level 38, and now had a significantly larger hammer while its body got quite a bit bigger. It stayed the same colour scheme with the pink body and copper hammer.
The final one of the evolutions was Thor the Joltik at level 36. He evolved into a large pale yellow spider with dark blue eyes, claws and patterns on its body.
Lance was happy with the evolutions as well as the increase in level for all of his Pokemon, however, he still wanted more. Especially because there was only a year until he would have another set of Pokemon to train. Due to this, he wanted to get his Pokemon to a level where he could focus more on his new members rather than focusing completely on all of them at once.
This would be a lot easier with his resources, as well as his higher level Pokemon, as he could send his Pokemon off to the environmental training centres which best suited them and allow the stronger ones to help train the weaker members.
This allowed him to spend almost an entire year training his own body and mind through rigorous daily exercises.
