Foresight

Why did all workers do what they do? it was for money, money was their drive. they all came to Nazarick for what? they had a huge opportunity for money and took it. Foresight was no different, but Dracula saw something different in this party of 4, meaning in a girl named Arche.

Foresight had existed for at least two years when Arche asked to join them. The team had the fame of being an abnormality among the worker teams of Arwintar, with any team member being obsessed with money or battle lust, they were different. That is the reason why Arche wanted to become part of the team.

The worker group has acquired many accomplishments since its formation. It has participated in the Grand Arena, fighting against several monsters such as a Giant Sabre Wolf, four Sabre Wolves, a Tob Greater Tiger, and an Azerlisia Iron Turtle.

The leader of the group was Hekkeran Termite, from what Dracula knew so far of this man, he was a good leader. he was the centerpiece that held his team together. he was also a swordsman, although that part wasn't important.

the team also had Roberdyck, a divine magic caster (Cleric) oriented to melee. He's able to use 3rd tier magic. Roberdyck is a very kind individual, becoming a worker due to his frustration that he was not allowed to heal people for free. Most of the money he earns is donated to orphanages. I didn't care for that, what I instead cared for was his power of belief.

He believed he gained power from the gods. Ainz and Dracula were both curious about what would happen if we made some changes to his mind. Were there truly gods out there? what would happen if he was made to believe in a made-up god, would his power remain or what?

Imina was the range fighter. Imina is a ranger who excels in perception and awareness of her surroundings. She was pretty much the ears of the group, as a half-elf she had sharp senses which were above the others. She was also the lover of the leader.

Ainz was planning to send her and Roberdyck to Gashokukochuuou's, he would have used their body as a nest. Dracula was not against it, but he didn't jump on board just yet.

and lastly, Arche Eeb Rile Furt. a former noble, who had two foolish parents. parents who were using up all of their money to try and keep up their appearances as nobles, running them into debt which she has to pay off. She needed the money to pay off the debt, she also had two twin sisters who were waiting for her. In other words, I knew her weaknesses.

By adventurer standards, Arche was equivalent to a mithril-rank adventurer, which made her a very capable arcane magic caster as she was able to cast 3rd tier spells despite her young age, she was not even 17 years old yet. It would be a waste to not use tools to their fullest before throwing them away. and Dracula didn't like wasting stuff...

"the challengers, the ones foolish enough to invade the great tomb of Nazarick. Team Foresight." Aura with a microphone in her hands, said while welcoming team foresight, which stepped into the arena with a confused look while on guard.

"and the one they are fighting... its the one and the only, Lord of Vampires, strongest of the supreme being. Lord Dracula." Aura said in joy as, from the opposite Team Foresight, Dracula stepped out, while the golems all over the arena cheered.

"... Dracula?" Roberdyck shrank in horror upon comprehending what he just heard. Dracula, who didn't know this name by now? thanks to Dracula, Renner and Marquis Raeven, the story of what happened not too long ago has been spread. hell, Dracula even had storybooks made of the event to give everyone just a clear picture of what happened.

Dracula, Momon, and Jaldabaoth. these 3 names had spread like wildfire, and 3 such beings were standing in front of them... they were all scared shitless

"Good, so you know who I am. so there is no to explain. You have invaded my home, so the fate that awaits you all will be cruel... but you can all work to lessen it." I said with a smile, sending chills down all of their spine. Hekkeran stepped forward to speak, but I cut himself.

"Nothing you have or could say would change anything. so listen up. I will tell you all that I have in store for you. it's your job to do your best to impress me to make it better, or worse. Aura if you may please." I said with a smile, to which Aura jumped right to it, and had a board be bright over. On the board, an image of Roberdyck appeared.

"A man of faith, a believer of god. I have so many things I want to try on your mind. You would most likely go mad from the test I would do on you, but don't worry I could heal your mind. I can even make you immortal, so you need not worry about dying any time soon. as for the tests I have in mind, they are simple. I want to see if your power would change if I changed the god you believe in. Let's say I make you believe I was the god you worship, what would happen then? would your power grow if you could see the god you worship, or would it drop as I'm not a god... or would it remain the same? surely, even you must wonder about the answer to such a thing right?" I asked making Roberdyck take a step back while looking at the board which had an image of himself going through all types of test

"other than that, Roberdyck doesn't have much use. following him are you two love birds." I said while looking at Hekkeran and Imina

"I don't have much use for you two. but someone does need a nest, so he would lay eggs in your bodies. you two could guest the res. don't worry, you will be brought back to life each time you die. yes, there is a limit to that, but you need not worry. at some point, your mind would shatter from the pain. you two would be both alive, and dead at the same time... almost like undead, but your bodies are alive, but the mind is dead." I said with an image of the fate that awaited them playing on the board, a sight that even caused Aura to flinch

"Lastly, Arche... your talent interests me. so I plan to get your two sisters. what would happen if I replaced your sister's eyes with your own and the other way around? and since they are twins when you are long dead. I plan to raise your twins as assassins. I've seen how twin assassins are capable of... they are skilled." I said while the images played on the screen, causing Arche's body to shake.

"do not bring my sisters into this, they didn't even do anything to you," Arche said with slight tears in her eyes, but I shook my head at her words.

"What I plan to do for them is a mercy. Let's face it, your father will sell them sooner or later since you're not returning home. I will step in and buy them. at least I will give them a future, or I can ignore them and have them grow as sex slaves." I said calmly, making Arche's eyes widen as the realization hit her. if she didn't go back home, her father wouldn't be able to pay off that debt, so her sisters...

"Good, so you have the most reason to fight... well, all of you do. remember, you can make this fate worse." I said while taking out blindfolds, which I wrapped around my eyes.

"for some time now, I have been training to do something. Your time is the one pitted enough to give them a chance. meanwhile, everyone else might be food that would be eaten alive by thousands of cockroaches or might take your spots. do you understand?" I asked calmly while stretching my body, while Hekkeran hinted towards his teammates to attack

"Hekkeran, I haven't started. I don't need my eyes to see you trying to attack. I will warn you, breaking the rules would annoy me." I said calmly, making all of them freeze. they only threw away their thoughts of attacking seeing Aura looking at them with a smile, like looking at animals.

"Smart. Aura you may begin." I said calmly while standing there, clearing my mind. Aura nodded before clapping her hands, and weapons were brought over.

"normal weapons can't hurt lord Dracula, so you foolish humans would be given better gear. he is only doing this to make it more challenging for himself. punch amongst the item something you like. and from there we shall start." Aura said stunning the 4, but Hekkeran nodded towards the others. so they went to start picking their weapons, and to their shock, all of the weapons here were like nothing they had seen before. they quickly got their weapons, after which Aura spoke

"Now, you would be given a list of Dracula's weaknesses. Like normal vampires, Lord Dracula is weak Good, Light, and Holy stuff. but he is far more vulnerable to such things. it does 5 times the damage to him... then again he has high resistance and defense, so your attack would at least need to be around level 60 to do any damage, but luckily for you guys, he had weakened himself so weaklings like yourself could do some damage." Aura said with a smile,

Dracula's weakness towards Good, Light, and Holy was troublesome. he could be one-shotted by a level 80 if they managed to land a god hit on him. normally, vampires suffer twice as much damage from things they are vulnerable to, meanwhile, Dracula was suffering 5 times. of course, Dracula's speed was high, so most attacks normally hit,

to further make Dracula overpowered was his unique job class Vampire Lord. so far we only touched upon one of his abilities Mind Control, but he gained 1 new unique ability every time he leveled up in this mass. there was a total of 5 abilities this Job Class gave him.

the first was Mind Control, Second was Vampire Summoning. he was able to summon a level 100 vampire once a day. not even Ainz could summon level-100 undead, even with super-tier magic. of course, shock undead would lose to Ainz, but it's not like Ainz would have an easy time defeating them. low difficulty, they would be enough to hold AInz off for about a good 10 or so minutes.

Third was Extreme Regenarion. this was a passive skill that allowed Dracula to heal at extreme speeds. Shalltear had something similar, She had Fast Healing. but this was the better version of that special ability. with this, Dracula could rip off his arm, and the ripped-off arm would turn into lights which would return to where his arm was. this of course needed MP to be used, 1 MP equals 10 HP. In other words, 4.5 MP was all I needed to be in full health. what made this skill so special was that my agility was used to calculate how fast my passive recovery speed would be. and yes, I can also use this skill to have its effect be far greater instead of having it work by itself.

if you wondering about when I was blinded by the world item, well, world items are a cheat. even Dracula cursed at how broken those things were

4th was MP Recovery. Another passive skill that boosts my MP recovery speed by a huge amount. what I liked most about this skill was that recovery speed relates to my agility. the higher my agility stat was, the faster my MP could recover. if it drops to zero, I only need 30 minutes to fully recover my MP, which is extremely fast.

the 5th... well, it was my strongest or at least among my strongest ability. Ainz had his Goal Of All Life Death, and I had this. Blood Thief. Honestly, it wasn't the most broken thief-based ability in the game.

Those who tried and reached the peak of the thief classes can unlock the ability to take another player's ability along with all of their gear. to say the least, that played got PKed so much, he quit the game. Dracula remembered something about him being able to steal the world or something, which led to many thinking he could even steal world-class items, which was the main driving force behind his being hunted down...

Now where were we? oh yea, Aura allowed the party of 4 to go over their plans and even change their gear, Dracula needed 30 minutes to clear his mind. after which, the battle begins.

An arrow shines in holy light on Dracula's head, with him being blindfolded, and not using the Odin sense. it left Aura worried that Dracula would not be able to sense the arrow, but Dracula moved his head slightly. a slight and small movement to the side, but he dodged the arrow by a hair birth.

'he.... he did it?!' Aura's eyes widened, she with her sharp senses knew that was not a smile movement. it was like how one's hand might move on reflect to block something, thats how Dracula's head had just moved. but how did he dodge it without sensing it?

The Odin Sense was suppressed thanks to that blindfold, as well as Dracula's other senses. sure Dracula could sense the world, but he would have to force himself hard to do so. this is what confused Aura, how could Dracula react to something if he can't sense it? but Aura was a mistake, yes all of Dracula's senses were suppressed, all but his instincts.

Instincts were that 6th sense, that gut feeling you might have that something was off. This feeling, this instinct this 6th sense, this gut feeling, this was what Dracula had been training.

he got the idea of a game called Dragon Fist. an ultimate martial arts game, where at the peak of the game, one unlikes a technique called Thoughtless. In the game, it's said that you waste a lot of time thinking, calculating, and guessing your opposite next move, reaching thoughtless allows every body part of one's body to act on its own. it would be like each body part has a mind and will of its own.

pretty much, it was all big talk from the game saying that the A.I. would be able to play for you, making the best move at nearly perfect time. when to A.I. clashes, the player who had the overall best techniques, and skills at using them would win. even though Dracula wasn't the best in that game, he was among many others tied for the best player in the game.

Hekkeran flashed before me, his twin blades slashing towards me. Dracula easily dodged it, but at that moment, two holy arrows shot from afar. Dracula couldn't dodge this, and they were aimed toward his head and heart... so he had no choice but to move his hands in the way of the attack, having the arrows stab into his arms,

"I got it when he does attack right away. he can react perfectly to any one attack, but too many timed attacks and he isn't ever to react perfectly to them. fire faints, Imina you aim for the killing blow. make sir you save your energy." Hekkeran yelled, while shooting towards Dracula, with everyone following his order.

attacks flew through the air and Dracula was quickly covered in injuries. slashes, arrows, fireballs, and the list went on. he was soon snapped out of his clear state of mind, after taking too much damage, removing his blindfold, he looked at the arrow shooting towards him, which hit an invisible wall, everyone else attacked, but their attacks couldn't touch Dracula.

"Alright, thats enough for now. we would be having a small break. sit back and relax while I go over the recording of what just happened. After which, we shall continue 2 more times." Dracula said calmly while turning to walk away. Aura followed while looking at Dracula in amazement,

'his healing speed is so fast.' she thought seeing how even attacks Dracula was super weak do were healing so fast.

"the hell... my arrows did nothing to him," Imina said in shock, the fact her arrow just hit an invisible wall, when they were doing the most damage moments ago shocked her.

"We are just tools... tools used for his training. for now, all we can do is play along. if not, then we're better off dead. but he can just bring us back to life." Hekkeran said softly while sitting down to recover, everyone else sat down, a lost look in their eyes at Hekkeran words.

"Having undead attack me seems to have its limits," Dracula said lazily while looking at the playback of everything that just happened. Rubbing his chin for a moment, he nodded slightly,

"I see where I have to improve with the training. I need someone who can see, read, and guess my next move. undead although can do so, they are not as adaptive as I wish they could be. plus, I need to train in attack. Shalltear, what do you think?" I asked while looking at Shalltear who was looking at this

"... those low life dared to hurt you. they should die 10 times over." Shalltear said angrily, to which Aura nodded slightly. Shaking my head, I stood up while in deep thought.

"I will look do this 2 more times, from what they have shown so far, it's nothing to impress me, they only helped me with something I overlooked, if this is all they could do... well, it sucks for them," I said while walking off.
