"Finally, it's my turn." Brontes's voice echoed through the battlefield, a determined glint in his eyes.

Borsalino had fallen faster than he had anticipated, a testament to the growing animosity between him and Zed.

"ZliZli!"

A bolt of lightning, as bright as the sun, struck the ground, leaving a smoky crater in its wake.

From the dissipating smoke, Brontes emerged, standing tall and unscathed. He and Zed locked eyes, their gazes meeting across the expanse of cooled lava that stretched between them.

"Finally, it's Brontes's turn. I'm eager to see how much he's grown." Momonga mused, his eyes never leaving the two figures on the battlefield.

His voice was filled with anticipation, a stark contrast to the grim atmosphere that hung over the spectators.

"He should outlast Sakazuki." Dalmatian chimed in, his tone confident.

"He's been at the forefront of every battle this year, always pushing his limits. His growth has been remarkable."

Momonga nodded, his gaze thoughtful: "The unpredictability of lightning makes it a formidable ability. It's hard to anticipate, hard to counter. And Brontes has mastered two types of Haki. I'd wager he'll last at least twenty minutes, if not longer."

He paused, his gaze turning distant: "A few months ago, he managed to wound Shiki, the Golden Lion. If he can hold his own against Zed, it'll be a testament to his strength. But it all depends on whether Zed decides to end this quickly, like he did with Borsalino."

"Let's wait and see!" The anticipation was palpable, the air thick with tension. Everyone present had a deep respect for Brontes, acknowledging his strength and potential.

In terms of harnessing the power of the Devil Fruit, he had surpassed even Sakazuki and Borsalino. His physical prowess was a brought up by Zed's rigorous training.

"ZliZli!!!"

Brontes's body was enveloped in a crackling aura of electricity, the energy coiling around him like serpents ready to strike.

"Come on, give it your best." Zed taunted, a smirk playing on his lips. He chose to let Brontes make the first move, a decision that spoke volumes about his confidence.

Brontes, however, was not one to be underestimated. The electricity around his body surged, and in a flash, he disappeared, leaving behind only the echo of his determination.

"Rumble!!"

The Rumble-Rumble Fruit, also known as the Thunder-Thunder Fruit, was renowned for the thunderous sound that accompanied its use. It was considered one of the most powerful Logia type fruits, its only known defeat being at the hands of Luffy, a result many considered unjust due to the protagonist's halo.

"Lightning Touch!"

Brontes reappeared behind Zed, his palm extended. In the center of his palm danced a ball of lightning, electric arcs bursting from it in a mesmerizing display of power.

Zed laughed, a sound that echoed through the battlefield. He turned sharply, his fist connecting with the ball of lightning in Brontes's hand.

"Boom! Rumble!"

The ball of lightning exploded, sending a shower of electric arcs in all directions.

The field was enveloped in a storm of lightning, the two figures at its center standing tall amidst the chaos.

"Brat, your lightning power can't hurt me." Zed's voice echoed from within the storm of electricity, a taunt that hung heavy in the air.

"Boom! Rumble!"

A bolt of lightning shot out from the storm, revealing Brontes suspended in mid-air. A coin appeared in his hand, bouncing once before landing perfectly in his palm.

"Armament Haki!"

Brontes's arm was enveloped in the dark sheen of Armament Haki to amplify his strength.

The power of his Railgun was determined by the speed of his thumb's flick. To withstand greater speed, his thumb needed to be harder. Brontes had improved this technique by wrapping his arm, and even the coin, in Armament Haki, thereby enhancing the power of his attack.

"He starts with this move..." Borsalino, having recovered from Zed's onslaught, watched the fight with keen interest.

He was surprised to see Brontes resort to such a powerful move so early in the battle.

"Super Railgun!" Brontes's voice rang out, the name of his attack echoing across the field.

This enhanced version of the Railgun, with the added prefix 'Super', was even more powerful than Misaka Mikoto's Railgun.

After consuming the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, Brontes had become a living embodiment of lightning.

"Rumble!!!"

A thunderous sound reverberated through the area as the black coin, wrapped in lightning, shot down from the sky like a spearhead. It was enveloped in a massive amount of lightning, a sight that was both awe-inspiring and terrifying.

Zed stood motionless below, the Super Railgun hurtling towards him. The impact of the attack shook the entire square, the ground cracking under the immense force.

"Boom!!! Rumble!!!"

The deafening roar echoed through the sky, the ground trembling as the entire island shook.

"D-Damn!" Momonga and the other recruits watched in disbelief, their eyes wide at the sheer power of Brontes's attack.

"Damn, the destructive power of this move... it's much stronger than before!" Borsalino muttered, his voice filled with shock.

"That guy..." Sakazuki's eyes widened as he watched the spectacle unfold.

His gaze was fixed on Brontes, who was suspended in the sky, his body crackling with electricity.

"Huh!"

Just as they were all worried about Zed, a figure emerged from the smoke below. Moving with incredible speed, the figure appeared in front of Brontes in an instant, swinging a punch towards Brontes's head.

"Bang!"

Brontes's head disintegrated in an instant, transforming into streaks of lightning.

Zed, looking slightly uncomfortable, was still flickering with residual electric arcs.

"Discharge!"

Brontes's head reformed quickly, a surge of electricity erupting from his body. He gripped Zed with both hands, the electricity on his body bursting out in a blinding display of power.

"Rumble-Rumble Fruit... what an annoying devil fruit." Borsalino's expression shifted as he watched the scene unfold, a bitter memory resurfacing.

He had been on the receiving end of this move during a training session with Brontes. Speed had always been his advantage, but ever since Brontes revealed his devil fruit ability, Borsalino found his speed advantage nullified.

Every time Brontes caught him, he would use this move to discharge electricity into his body, a tactic that had defeated Borsalino several times.

"ZliZli!!!"

Zed, although not a devil fruit user, possessed physical strength far surpassing that of ordinary people. However, faced with Brontes's 'Disgusting Move', he let out a loud cry.

"Ah!!!"

Zed's cry echoed within the storm of lightning. But it was short-lived. When they looked again, they saw Brontes spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"Cough!!"

Zed's fist had connected with Brontes's stomach, inflicting severe damage. Brontes attempted to retaliate, but he was slower than Zed.

The veteran marine had the upper hand in terms of action speed and control of Haki. If Brontes's Observation Haki could foresee actions one second ahead, then Zed could foresee five seconds ahead.

"Bang!"

Zed's elbow connected with Brontes's back, sending him plummeting from the sky.

"Boom!"

A bolt of lightning struck the ground as Zed descended swiftly, his fist still wrapped in Armament Haki.

"Is it not over yet?" The recruits watched in disbelief as Zed showed no signs of stopping, even after knocking Brontes from the sky. Was he planning to beat Brontes as he had Borsalino?

"Thor!"

"Eight-Headed Divine Lightning Dragon!" Brontes stood his ground, the fresh blood at the corner of his mouth evaporating due to the high temperature of the lightning, turning into dust. His body was enveloped in high-density lightning, almost transforming into plasma.

Eight thunder dragons burst forth from his body, each dragon head roaring ferociously in the air.

"Roar! Roar! Roar!"

"ZliZli!!! ZliZli!!!"

The battlefield echoed with the roars of the dragons and the crackling of lightning.

"Kill!"

Brontes's voice rang out.
