"YOU CUT OFF MY HAND!" Screeched Spandam whilst the marines around him tried to give first aid.
"YOU ACTIVATED THE BUSTER CALL!" Robin screamed whilst shaking Cherry by the shoulders.
"That idiot would have pressed the button all on his own anyways. Rather than argue, let's just get going yeah?" Cherry tried to calm down Robin, but couldn't keep the satisfied smirk off her face.
"FUNKFREED!" Spandam cried out. The trumpeting of an elephant rang out. In his left hand he held a strange sword.
*FLASH*
"AHHHH!" Spandam screamed in shock and fury. The marines desperately tried to keep still so they could stop the bleeding of his second stump of the day.
"I'm not getting paid enough for this..." One of the marines said on the sidelines.
"Follow close behind me ladies." Cherry charged into the ranks of the marines, lightning surging out causing them to collapse and open a path.
"Chapapa! Where do you think you're going?!" A CP9 agent stepped in front of them. He was Fukurou, a ball shaped man with a zipper over his mouth.
"Get out of the way, loser." Cherry spoke simply, punching him in the chest and sending him flying.
"O-over 9,000 Doriki?!" He sputtered, before collapsing to the ground.
"What the heck is a Doriki?" Cherry wondered aloud. Robin and Nami recalled how Fukurou had tested the other CP9 agents' strength and that even Rob Lucci only received 4,000 Doriki.
Of course when the old monster Wilson Alexander offered to test his strength, Fukurou had been very frightened of the idea and desperately, but politely refused.
The three ladies exited the building onto the balcony. To their left they saw Franky chewing on Wilson Alexander's arm which was gripping him by his own arm.
Across the deep abyss below them they saw Luffy and the other Straw Hats on the roof opposite them.
""""Robin, Nami!"""" They shouted out when they saw them.
"Luffy, catch!" Cherry shouted over the gap. Luffy tilted his head in confusion.
Cherry picked up Nami, much to her own confusion until she realized what was about the happen.
"Eh? Wait, you're not going to- AHHHHHH!" Nami screamed as she hurled across the gap where Luffy caught her.
"Your turn, Robin." Cherry grinned evilly.
Robin looked around like she was trying to find a place to escape to. Unfortunately, she had to submit herself to her fate and was thrown across the gap as well.
Around this time the other CP9 agents came out onto the balcony as well. They had dark looks cross their faces when they realized half of their mission objectives just escaped their grasp.
Cherry charged at Wilson Alexander and threw herself at him. He reached out his free hand and grabbed her by the throat.
"I've told you already not to meddle in my mission. I'm beginning to think you're not very smart-" He stopped talking when Cherry dug her fingers into his arm. He had a bad premonition and realized he shouldn't have grabbed her.
Lightning erupted from Cherry's waist and there was no way for him to dodge. The lightning surged into his arms forcing him to release his grip as the electricity manipulated his motor nerves.
"Jump over the edge Franky!" Cherry shouted. Something in her voice made him trust her words and he followed the command only a moment later.
*Fwoosh!*
A flying ship rose upwards from beneath them catching Franky on its deck. It began to move away from the administration tower.
"Phew, I'm not dead... SUPEEER!" Franky was relieved. He turned to face the administration tower and pulled something out of a compartment on his body.
"Do you recognize these?" He held out a cluster of very old parchment, on the face of which the word "Pluton" was written.
"Have a look Rob Lucci, so you know its the real thing." He said flipping through the pages for him to see. Wilson Alexander and Cherry watched for Rob Lucci's reaction and they seemed to truly be the genuine article.
Franky held them before his face. "Since Robin has such good comrades to protect her, there's no point in risking you awakening the ancient weapon."
Two people vanished from the balcony. Franky breathed a jet of flame at the blueprints, but just before they reached the pages they vanished from his hand.
"Hehehehe, you're such a good friend, Franky! I'll give them back later, okay?" Cherry's voice echoed in the stunned silence of everyone else in attendance.
"Hand those blueprints over, brat!" Wilson Alexander growled, seeming genuinely angry for the first time in their interactions.
The two figures bounced around in the air, Cherry fleeing from the pursuing Wilson. Rob Lucci recognized that were using a combination of Soru and Geppo, known as Kamisori. He could see that his Master had the advantage of speed, but Cherry was moving so erratically that he couldn't quite catch her.
How had Cherry beaten Wilson to the blueprints if he's faster than her? Cherry had simply broken her legs for an extra burst of speed, which was also part of the reason she was moving strangely.
Whilst that game of cat and mouse was playing out in the air, a newly unarmed Spandam appeared on the balcony. "What are you doing?! Go catch Nico Robin!"
CP9 moved immediately, crossing over the abyss towards the Straw Hats with Geppo.
Cherry swiftly looked through the pages memorizing the contents while dodging Wilson and his attacks.
'No wonder Franky didn't mind letting Rob Lucci catch a glimpse of these blueprints. They're immensely complex and the room for error in construction is nonexistent.' Cherry thought.
She only needed a good look at each page to memorize them however, as she can simply meditate to recall them in perfect detail later. When she finished, she used lightning to incinerate the pages to ashes, then scatter the ashes into the abyss below.
"Ah, damn it. You young people have no respect for old things." Wilson said, ceasing his pursuit.
"Are you talking about the blueprints or yourself?" Cherry asked him.
"Both, you brat. I guess it's over, it's a shame I wont' get my reward." He sighed.
"What reward could get someone as old as you to wag his tail? Surely you don't lack wealth, you should be able to obtain whatever you like with your power." Cherry asked curiously.
A crooked smile crossed the old man's face, one that seemed to reveal a deep madness underneath his professional exterior.
"You want to know? I guess I can tell you. My Reap Reap Fruit isn't called that for nothing you see. Once it awakened, it allowed me to send dead souls to the afterlife. Let me tell you, there is no mortal pleasure that can beat personally sending an evil soul to hell, hekekeke!" He said, barely containing his joy just at the thought.
"Can't you just hunt pirates for that? Why would you need to World Government to give you evil people?" Cherry inquired.
"Not all evils are the same. They come in different... flavors. The flavor I can only get from the World Government... is Celestial Dragon." His eyes were wild with gluttony, but it quickly faded to disappointment. "However, that's impossible with this failure. It's not a chance that comes often."
'This guy really is crazy.' Cherry thought. She kept her guard up in case he decided to take out his loss on her or the others.
"Well, goodbye. Perhaps we'll meet again some day." Her worries vanished when he simply left, as if losing his reward was like dropping an ice cream cone.
The Straw Hats had started a retreat while fighting off CP9.
From behind, the massive Gates of Justice started to open.
