Tóm tắt

For the past 10 years, I had worked hard on my dream, a game that I poured my blood, sweat, and tears into it. Now, my dream had finally become a reality. And I mean it REALLY became a reality as when I woke up that morning, a familiar screen was in front of my face, a screen that I had seen so many times in the past 10 years when I had beta tested my own game. [Welcome to the "Tutorial" of the Tower, please enter a nickname for the player. Warning! The player will carry this nickname for the remainder of their stay in the tower.] "What.... the.... FUCK!" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The cover is temporary until the commissioned cover is done. Release Rate: Check the schedule Chapter Length: 1000 - 2000 words per chapter. My chapters are edited by myself, so forgive me if I make any mistakes. Just comment if there is a mistake anywhere. (Author's Note: I started writing this series due to the fact that I just wanted to pay a tribute to web novels about climbing a tower, as they are some of the ones that have influenced me the most. I first dove into the world of web novels and manwha when I read Tower of God which was the first manwha I had ever read. I then read web novels like Second Life Ranker, The Novel's Extra, and The World After the End, which are all novels I really love and highly recommend. Well anyways, enjoy my interpretation of the "Tower" genre of web novels.) Chapter 1Prologue - 0

It had started out as a pet project when I was 15. I had just been a high schooler who had just learned how to code and wanted to make something with it. The world had already been taken by storm when realistic VR games had been invented in 2035. After spending years of my pre-teen childhood playing these games in the "gaming capsules" I had become disappointed in their quality and storylines. I eventually became infatuated with the idea that I could make the perfect game. A game that had a perfect amount of action, adventure, and one that actually challenged the players to use their bodies instead of just using pre-programmed "skills" that when activated, made the computer move the user's body accordingly.

I spent 2 years writing the storyline, after which, I dropped out of high school and my parents kicked me out of the house, having been deemed useless by my family and ridiculed as a NEET. I spent 5 years programming the game from scratch, on an old PC in my room. Taking along with me only my PC and notebooks full of ideas, I spent the remaining 3 years in a shitty apartment, editing and refining my code, whilst doing side jobs to pay for my rent.

And finally, after 10 whole years with nobody's help, no one to support me, just me myself and I, I was going to release my perfect game tomorrow.

"Ahhhhhhhh" I said while leaning back in my chair, interlacing my hands behind my head.

It was 11:53 pm right now and my game was going to be released in 7 minutes. I had made sure everything was perfect, buying advertisements and spreading the news on all the social media websites. I had even created a timer counting down on the release time.

"Finally, after 10 whole, fucking years, I can shove the shit that my family and friends said right back up their asses when I become a millionaire from this game."

Most of them had abandoned me. My parents called me a disgrace and disowned me, saying that I should have used my talent in coding to become a computer scientist or work for the government. My older sister by two years stopped talking to me after I dropped out of high school, calling me disgusting and a "middle aged NEET". Only my younger sister by 5 years ever talked to me, but she was prohibited from visiting me after I was kicked out of the house, so I hadn't seen her in 8 years.

And finally, there were my two best friends, who I had been friends with since childhood, as our parents had been close friends, they just stopped talking to me and distanced themselves from me, and then they started dating, completely severing their relation with me.

At that point, I had been devastated, falling on my knees and crying, looking at my old home, which I couldn't even call a home anymore after I was kicked out, the rain soaking my clothes and my PC that they had thrown out.

I was forced to fend for myself, going to the slums of the neighborhood and joining a gang, where I became their head hacker, which was the side job that I mentioned before.

Even though I was devastated from losing all the people that I held dear to me, and beaten up after having a run-in with another gang, I still had hope in my game, and it became the only light in my world of darkness, helping me persevere through my struggles to this day.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.
