Second test begining

As Shane fell to the ground, visions of the past flashed in his mind, visions of Gods, visions of the life of humans before the fall of Olympus, and visions of the life of humans after the fall of Olympus, all these visions carried feelings and emotions creating the illusion that they were real.

Of all the visions that flashed in his mind, the one that stood out the most was of a giant serpent, looking down on the world, the serpent was so huge its head alone blocked out all light from reaching the people below.

The emotions that Shane felt, were reverence, gratefulness, and absolute loyalty.

There was no fear that one would expect from coming in contact with a creature of that enormous size and power.

That was the last thing Shane felt as he completely lost consciousness, those visions would stick with Shane for the rest of his life, shaping the choices he would make, and his ultimate dream.

As Shane's body hit the ground, the old lady walked forward and stopped right in front of him, the look in her eyes unreadable, she looked at his unconscious body for two minutes before finally turning and walking away, as the shadows squirmed to life and swallow her figure and she disappeared completely leaving Shane alone.

This encounter, for this old lady, was nothing to keep to memory and she would soon forget it, but for Shane, this was an important moment in his life.

Back in the test of the scythe, Shane was current in very bad shape, years had passed since he started the first test and he was currently fighting the last opponent he needed to pass the first of the three tests the scythe spirit would set fort.

Shane rushed forward, approaching his opponent at a very fast speed, and attacked from the side.

He swung his scythe aiming to cut his opponent in two.

BAM!!

The giant Humanoid pig, just looked at the approaching scythe and didn't move, as the scythe collided with his stomach it bounced off, then he took a big and heavy step forward and swung his own scythe, aiming directly for Shane's head.

By some inhuman reflex and strength, Shane managed to forcefully swing his weapon in the path of the approaching scythe and managed to save himself from being killed, but the force that was contained in the attack was not something he could stop as he was thrown into the air.

His hands were immediately numb, as he managed to flip in the air and slam his scythe into the ground to stop himself, but even with this, he was still thrown back at least one hundred feet.

The humanoid pig, quickly ran to Shane, seeing the approaching danger Shane struggled to pull the scythe out of the ground, and as a shadow covered him, without any further thoughts he immediately jumped to the side.

BOOM!!

The spot he was in previously was completely destroyed, and rocks flew everywhere, Shane looked only to find his scythe deformed and unusable.

"There goes my weapon, anyway it followed me for twenty years it's about time it got some rest." spoke Shane.

The tone of his voice carried anything but fear, even after seeing his weapon destroyed.

Shane got up and the look in his eyes immediately changed, becoming serious and cold.

Soon the humanoid pig Approached him once again, but this time Shane didn't move, his eyes turned deep black, as a black flame appeared in his hand and he jumped forward.

BOOM!!

The ground under his feet was completely destroyed, as he appeared in front of his opponent.

BOOM!!

The flame in his hand exploded as he appeared.

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Screams of pain echoed in the surrounding, as the pig dropped the scythe and coved his almost completely destroyed face as blood covered the ground.

WHOOSH!!

Out of the explosion, Shane appeared with the giant scythe of his opponent covered in black flames and swung it cutting his opponent in two from the waist.

BAM!!

BAM!!

The pig's upper body dropped to the ground, and the scythe was also flung out of Shane's hand as he too dropped to the ground, breathing heavily.

"You have passed the first test, the second will start immediately." a voice echoed as the burning environment disappeared and was replaced with a corridor of black flames.

Shane who was still tired looked at the flames and, felt a great sense of danger.

"In order to use me to my fullest potential, both body and mind needed to be strong, walking through this fire will burn your soul, there are five corridors one after the other, walking through a corridor will burn your soul if you can survive there is a space between each corridor that can heal your soul and strengthen it." the voice said again.

"Unlike the last test there is a time limit for this test, and it is four days, your time starts now."
