CH-16=SAITAMA NARUTO(What if)

In a world similar to the one you know, where shinobi villages thrived and young ninja strived to become powerful protectors of their lands, there was a significant difference – Naruto Uzumaki was not the same. In this world, he was smarter, far more intelligent than his canon counterpart, although not quite at Shikamaru's level. He had a thirst for knowledge that set him apart from the average shinobi, or civilians who despised him.

Naruto's thirst for knowledge led him to do something not many children of his age did – he read books and attended lessons at the academy. It wasn't only to become a better shinobi but also to quench his curiosity about the world. There was a spark in Naruto's eyes, a determination to prove himself beyond what anyone expected.

One significant difference in this Naruto's upbringing was that as a child, he didn't indulge in pranks or act out. Instead, he scoured training areas for shinobi materials and weapons, despite the scarcity and the refusal of many to sell him anything. He knew that knowledge was power, and he was determined to gain as much as he could, even at such a young age.

One day, while visiting a training ground, Naruto stumbled upon a sparring match between Kakashi and Gai, two formidable shinobi known for their prowess in taijutsu. Gai was undoubtedly the superior in hand-to-hand combat, his incredible speed and strength outmatching even Kakashi. To keep up, Kakashi had to resort to using shadow clones.

Naruto watched in awe as the two teachers battled it out, his eyes glued to the techniques and the dazzling speed on display. He couldn't help but notice the difference in the shadow clones that Kakashi used. They were much more intricate and powerful than the basic ones he had learned at the academy.

After the sparring session, Kakashi and Gai took a moment to chat with Naruto. They were intrigued by the boy's curiosity and his remarkable focus on their techniques. Kakashi was hesitant, wondering if it was wise to teach Naruto the intricacies of shadow clones, but Gai, always a proponent of youthful exuberance, convinced him to do so.

Naruto eagerly soaked in the lessons and soon grasped the essence of creating more advanced shadow clones. With time and dedication, he expanded his knowledge even further. He wondered if there was a way he could integrate his new technique into physical training.

After countless trials, errors, and experiments, Naruto achieved what he'd set out to do. He created the physical shadow clone version, although it consumed a tremendous amount of chakra. His physical shadow clones were even more physically adept than he was, capable of performing rigorous training sessions and withstanding fatigue better than any normal shinobi.

However, Naruto wasn't content to stop there. He designed a unique sealing technique that alleviated the stress on the body, reducing the physical aches and exhaustion that came with intense training. It wasn't a cure for real injuries, but it allowed Naruto to push his limits and recover much faster than normal.

As word spread of Naruto's extraordinary abilities and the prowess he had achieved, it wasn't long before Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, learned of his skills. Naruto wasn't even a genin yet, but his knowledge and capabilities extended beyond what most ninja could comprehend. Naruto had learned jutsu up to the C-rank, including shadow clones and physical shadow clones, rudimentary fuinjutsu, and had mastered basic chakra control exercises, such as tree climbing. He had even developed a foundation in kenjutsu and taijutsu through books and scrolls from the library.

Hiruzen, intrigued by Naruto's potential, decided to put the boy to the test. He was one of the few individuals who could keep up with Naruto's incredible speed and strength. Kakashi, with the help of his Sharingan, could barely follow Naruto's movements but couldn't respond effectively.

As Naruto and Hiruzen engaged in intense training sessions, the Hokage was astounded by the boy's skills. Naruto's extraordinary speed and strength, combined with his vast knowledge, posed a unique challenge to the Hokage.

Naruto's abilities reached a level where he surpassed even some Kage-level shinobi in certain aspects. His journey towards becoming a genin was a mere formality. His training with Hiruzen continued, and the Hokage provided Naruto with more advanced books and scrolls, allowing him to delve deeper into the realms of shinobi arts.

Naruto's genius was not limited to chakra control, taijutsu, or ninjutsu; he excelled in virtually every field, including genjutsu, where he achieved a level that could be considered on par with the skills of a typical jonin. In this world, Naruto was not the "dead last" as Kiba had been in the canon story; he was now recognized as a prodigy and stood out as one of the most promising young ninja of his generation.

Naruto's world was changing in many ways, and his connection with his fellow academy student, Hinata Hyuga, was not an exception. In this universe, Naruto's increased intelligence allowed him to pick up on Hinata's subtle hints of affection and her struggles with shyness. He recognized her feelings for him even before they graduated from the academy.

Hinata, emboldened by Naruto's understanding and compassion, overcame her self-doubt and developed more self-confidence. The two began dating during their time at the academy, supporting each other in their journey to become skilled ninja.

However, their relationship was not without challenges. The Hyuga clan, deeply traditional and rigid in its ways, viewed Hinata's budding romance with Naruto with disapproval. Nevertheless, the strength and skills Naruto had gained over the years allowed him to train and protect Hinata. In the end, it was their love, determination, and the support of those who saw their potential that helped them break free from the restrictive customs of the Hyuga clan.

The shadow clone and physical shadow clone techniques Naruto had developed were shared with Hinata, who eagerly embraced the opportunity to become stronger. Hinata's progress was nothing short of remarkable. With Naruto's guidance and training, she achieved levels of power and mastery that exceeded even the most revered Hyuga clan members.

Naruto's proficiency as a sensor made him a suitable replacement for Kiba Inuzuka on Team 8. The combined efforts of Naruto and Hinata now stood as a testament to what could be achieved with determination, love, and the drive to break free from the constraints of tradition.
