"Very good, class. I can't express how proud I am of all of you," spoke a young man with brown hair and a scar on his nose, a proud smile on his face as he gazed at the young graduates who had just earned the title of genin. Iruka's eyes scanned the group of students, and he couldn't help but notice one individual who stood out from the rest.
Among the students was a blonde boy with striking blue eyes, a well-known figure in the village. He was the village outcast, the jinchuriki of the Kyubi, the eldest son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki—the former known as the Yondaime Hokage. The boy had been placed among the graduates after rigorous individual testing, which had shown that he was not just worthy of becoming a genin but possibly even more skilled.
Naruto, however, remained seated quietly by the window, acutely aware of the collective gaze upon him. His academy sensei, Iruka, was just another individual who had suffered great losses during the Kyubi attack over four years ago. Naruto, in his role as the jinchuriki, had felt the true brunt of the village's hatred. The lower-ranking shinobi despised him, and the civilians were no different. All the anger, resentment, and hatred that had welled up within the village had found its outlet in him. He was rejected, ostracized, and often the target of physical attacks.
Naruto had been compelled to defend himself against both civilians and fellow shinobi who attacked him. His mother, Kushina, was preoccupied with the unexpected role of becoming the village's leader. The loss of Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, and his mother's absence had left a leadership void that needed to be addressed. Kushina was one of the few S+ rank Kunoichis in existence, renowned for her mastery of swordsmanship and Fuinjutsu. Her reputation extended far beyond the village, and she was a figure of respect throughout the continent.
The consequences of the Kyubi attack were profound. Naruto found himself practically raising his younger sister, as his mother was burdened with the task of rebuilding the village economically and militarily. More than 69% of the village's shinobi and kunoichi had perished in that tragic event. Entire sections of the village, including residential and commercial areas, as well as parts of the academy, lay in ruins. The responsibility to rebuild and restore fell squarely on Kushina's shoulders, forcing her to be absent from their home.
Amidst the hostility of Konoha's inhabitants, Naruto had to cope with their collective disdain and care for his sister. He also had to dedicate himself to training and self-improvement, with the goal of becoming a valued member of the village's shinobi ranks. Many sleepless nights and exhausting days took their toll on him, but he never allowed these challenges to defeat him. After all, he was Uzumaki Naruto—the sole jinchuriki of the nine-tailed fox.
Protecting his younger sister remained Naruto's utmost priority, leading him to make a difficult decision: shouldering the burden and safeguarding the secret that his sibling harbored a portion of the nine-tailed biju. Bearing the brunt of an entire town's hatred was a sacrifice he was willing to endure in order to shield his sister.
"Uzumaki Naruto..." The blonde boy snapped back to reality as his name was called for team formation. "Hado Takashi." The next called was a teenager with dark skin and straight hair cascading to the nape of his neck. His eyes were gray, and he bore some features reminiscent of a resident of Kumo. He sported a yellow sleeveless shirt with bandages wrapped around his forearms, loose gray pants, and blue sandals.
"The boy genius? Oh, man..." Takashi, the newly named team member, let his head fall against the bench with a sigh. Naruto simply ignored his new partner, maintaining his composure and keeping his focus on the list.
"And finally, Kohara Kimi." A high-pitched squeal pierced the air before the last name was announced.
"Yes~! Naruto-chan will be on my team!" The enthusiastic declaration came from the final member of the team, a tall 13-year-old girl with long snow-white hair and pale skin. Her bright blue eyes glistened, and she possessed a curvaceous hourglass figure that was rather unusual for someone her age. She boasted C-cup breasts, a narrow waist, and well-defined hips. Her attire consisted of a black top covering her breasts while revealing her midriff, leg warmers of the same color adorning her arms and wrists, a short dark skirt atop a mesh covering her thighs. Undoubtedly, she was a striking young girl.
"Naruto-chan?" Takashi had to stifle his urge to laugh at the nickname bestowed upon the 'Genius Boy.' It seemed that Naruto had caught the attention of the most popular and talented girl in their generation, who was undoubtedly the cream of the crop.
"Your team?" Naruto inquired dubiously, remaining a few meters away from the girl, whose lips curved into a broad smile.
"Yes! Don't worry, I've got your back, and you've got mine. I promise we'll become the finest duo in Konoha!" She exclaimed exuberantly, rising from her seat and walking over to Naruto. She sat next to him, invading his personal space, prompting him to inch away slightly from the enthusiastic teenager.
"Hey, am I invisible or something? Let me remind you that we're a team of three! Three!" Takashi's frustrated outburst this time fell on deaf ears. He felt offended and disregarded but only received a nonchalant look from the white-haired kunoichi.
"You're just the support, so shut up, loser!" The challenging stares of both Kimi and Takashi clashed, all while Naruto observed the scene with curiosity.
" Silence!" Iruku was already tired of the shouting and demanded silence, taking a deep breath he continued with his list, "You are team 4 and your sensei will be Haruma Tenko, now I can only ask you to wait for your sensei to come to-" Iruka was interrupted when the door was opened unexpectedly.
" Team 4" the person who entered was an elderly adult man, he was wearing the typical Jounin suit, his hair was dark but with several white strands that were accompanied by some wrinkles in the corners of his brown eyes, finally the weapon that was What stood out was a long katana that was tied to his back, "Follow me" just by saying that he left the classroom.
" But what about class?" Kimi asked, confused, seeing that Naruto was already at the door following his assigned sensei, the girl could only sigh to get up and follow Takashi who also resigned himself to leaving the class, "Goodbye Iruka-sensei" being the only one to say goodbye. He could only run after his companions.
" Good luck kids, you'll need it" were the words of the Chunnin who only continued taking roll calls with his other students. He wished luck to those boys who were now with a veteran like Hamura Tenko.
Returning to the Jounin of team 4, he arrived at the roof to walk up to a railing and lean on it, waiting impatiently for his students. His wait was not long since one after the other they arrived, the old man with gray hair pointed to some stairs for the brats to take a seat.
