CHAPTER 3

KIMBERLY'S POV

"Hazel! Hazel!! Hazel!!!"

I shout in the hallway as I try to look for Hazel. I feel bad about what happened in Biology class. Ivy Eagle, that name unleashes the beast in me. The passion of hatred that burns in me for her is greater than you think.

"Hazel!!" I call again as I open the door of the female lockeroom. I hear the shower raining and I scamper to that direction. I see my poor Hazel crying her soul out.

"Hazel! please don't cry" I say as I dry her tears.

"Why can't I be bold for a second, Why couldn't I just shush her?" Hazel asks in between breathes.

"Obviously because you were avoiding trouble, Hazel, you don't need to be scared of Ivy Eagle, she is....." I cut short my sentence.

"You don't wanna be like her" I continue. "I know she looks daring, confident, super smart, has people at her disposal anytime and anywhere but let me tell you Ivy is a dumbass, jerk, she's every damned name you can think of, guys just hook up on her cause she's pretty, but behind that pretty face is an insecure teenager whose tryna make you feel the same way"

"How?" an engrossed Hazel questions me.

"Ivy's parents are divorced, and her dad took custody of her cause he's got the bags and I heard that her dad's employees often abuse her and she has no real friends to talk to, Ivy's a prototype of Insecure, the balls in her court so she chooses to toss it her own way".

"What about her mother?"

"She had Ivy through a **** incident, Celine was raped by her boss, the CEO of Eagle's Enterprise, she fled when she knew she was gonna have a baby. Her boss heard about it and tracked her down. They signed a contract stating that they'll get married ASAP and then when Ivy's about 3years old, they'd divorce and he'll have custody over the child since Celine wanted to further her education, Ivy's father's barely bothered about her, he doesn't even treats her like his own, he only shows up in events that requires his presence as Ivy's father, goes to work early and comes back when Ivy's snoring".I conclude as I apply the finishing touch to my washed up makeup.

"C'mon lets go, I have History class next".
