[i'm not gonna lie i rushed the individual fights but i will write POV chapters at some point so...yah have a good read]
Gazing upon the members of my pantheon, it was evident that they were achieving an overwhelming victory. Among them, only Raven was actively employing her divine domain, as its ability was more passive in nature. The others were harnessing the bolstered strength granted by their newly harnessed divine energy. The outcome was not surprising—three rank 2 divine entities facing off against six Gods at rank 1. The odds were stacked against the demons, and the nascent gods were gradually gaining mastery over their newfound divine power. This explained why the demons were still holding on, capitalizing on the inexperience of the six newly anointed gods.
the three demons were members of a race known as the Fallen—a unique race comprised of divine entities who had committed such heinous crimes that the very consciousness of the divine realms had deemed them unworthy. As a result, they were exiled to the realm of evil gods, where these malevolent deities would take them in, but not without a price. The Fallen possessed the ability to sprout up to five pairs of wings, with each additional pair signifying their level of strength. Two pairs of wings equated to the power of a god without a dedicated divinity, similar to a demigod in the mortal realm. Three pairs represented the strength of a 1st realm god, four pairs indicated a 2nd realm god, and so forth, ultimately culminating in the apex of low-level divines—those of the 3rd realm.
Their power was confined to the upper limits of the low divine tier. Until they achieved godhood, they would remain devoid of divine energy, a divine realm, or a unique divinity. This characteristic made them appealing to mid-level evil gods who enlisted them as elite troops. Conversely, high-level evil gods employed them as somewhat more potent cannon fodder. The trio I was observing had a mere two pairs of wings, rendering them incredibly feeble. My expression shifted from pity to outright mockery, a wry smile forming on my lips. "Since their fate is inevitable, we might as well extract some use out of them
With a simple gesture, I conjured three mirrors behind the trio of demons, capturing their reflections within. My fellow pantheon members believed that I was about to conclude the battle, a feat they now knew I could achieve. They were focused on my "fight," but half of them were somewhat displeased with my actions. Just as Luffy was about to voice his complaint, the astonishing occurred: the three mirrored reflections emerged from the mirrors, standing beside their counterparts. The demons themselves appeared dumbfounded, while the other gods shot me questioning looks. My laughter filled the air as I addressed the combatants. "Let's level the playing field, shall we? It's hardly fair for it to be 6 against 3. I'm just here to make things more equitable, hahaha!" Fujitora, the Ancient One, and Raven seemed mildly irritated by my interference, while Luffy and Orochimaru sported broader grins. Jack, on the other hand, appeared utterly unconcerned as he lounged on the mast of the Black Pearl, a bottle of whiskey in one hand and his pistol in the other.
Luffy charged forward with his characteristic laughter, aiming straight for one of the demons. The targeted demon swiftly reacted, lunging forward to meet Luffy head-on. Their clash was explosive, as Luffy's haki-infused fist collided with a shield-like barrier that materialized between him and the demon. What was surprising was the nature of the barrier – it didn't shatter under Luffy's assault. Instead, it exhibited an almost elastic quality, bending and flexing as if it were alive. Runic inscriptions adorned the surface of the shield, glowing with an eerie light.
With a sound reminiscent of a spring being stretched, Luffy was suddenly propelled backward, the shield's resilience sending him soaring high into the air, above the dark and eerie clouds of the evil gods' realm. The unsettling atmosphere seemed to have no effect on him, and he swiftly activated his unique power, transforming the cloud beneath him into rubber. With a spirited shout, he utilized this makeshift rubber surface to slingshot himself back towards the battlefield, using his ability to its fullest potential.
"GOMU GOMU NO- ROCKET!" Luffy's body became akin to a rocket, hurtling down towards the demon. Despite the demon's attempt to react, it was already too late. Luffy's form collided headfirst into the demon's stomach with a bone-crushing impact, a chilling sound of bones cracking echoing through the air. The force of the collision resulted in both Luffy and the demon being the epicenter of a newly formed crater, testament to the sheer power of Luffy's attack.
A radiant golden light emanated from the newly formed crater, heralding the arrival of Fujitora. His keen observation haki heightened, he moved with a determined focus, his divine sword drawn and ready for battle. Locking onto his chosen opponent, he surged forward, propelled by a combination of his mastery over gravity and divine agility. The targeted demon swiftly initiated an incantation, and a rapidly formed magic circle materialized before it. From within the mystic circle emerged an ethereal sword of energy, its otherworldly glow betraying its formidable nature.
As the two divine swords clashed, a burst of energy erupted between them. However, it was clear that Fujitora held the upper hand, pushing back the demon effortlessly. In response, the demon raised its other hand, invoking another magic circle that unleashed torrents of purple water, a poisonous substance, surging vehemently toward Fujitora. Sensing the imminent danger, Fujitora nimbly leapt into the air, distancing himself from the toxic onslaught.
Fujitora's battle strategy shifted, recognizing that the demon was more attuned to magical attacks rather than a pure sword fight. Utilizing his unique ability over gravity manipulation, he exerted his control over the environment. The gravitational forces in the vicinity became dense and overpowering, causing the very ground to sink beneath them. This sudden alteration in the terrain hindered the demon's movements, rendering its actions sluggish and less responsive.
As the demon struggled against the intensified gravity, the poison it had unleashed was forcefully pressed to the ground. The corrosive liquid, unable to maintain its trajectory, backfired onto the demon itself, resulting in a vicious self-inflicted assault. The demon's anguished cries echoed in the battlefield as the toxic backlash took its toll, leaving it severely weakened and vulnerable.
The battles raged on, each god and divine creature using their unique abilities and divine energy to overcome the fallen demons. The clash of powers and the mastery of their respective domains created a spectacle that resonated through the divine realm, an epic confrontation between the divine and the corrupted.
As the final demon met its demise, a palpable sense of victory settled over the pantheon members. Yet, it wasn't just victory they had achieved. It was a display of their growth, both individually and as a collective. A subtle shift in the atmosphere signaled a new beginning, a transformation in their divine essence.
Among the victors, Luffy stood tall, a golden aura radiating around him. The battle had unlocked something within him, a new level of mastery over his rubber-based abilities. A grin spread across his face as he whispered to himself, "Rubber... hahaha." The new divinity within him pulsed with newfound strength and potential, a testament to the evolution he had undergone.
With the battles concluded, urgency gripped our senses. The divine realm was a realm of opportunity and competition. I swiftly initiated the process of relocating us to the sealed realm of Klaruth. A realm that had once radiated with his vanity and royalty, now lay desolate and crumbling, the remnants of his reign shattered and broken.
As we arrived, a shroud of darkness enveloped the space, casting an eerie ambiance. Klaruth's believers, their souls tainted with fear and uncertainty, bore witness to our sudden arrival. The grand statue that had once adorned the entrance to his palace now lay in ruins, a metaphor for his fall.
Time was of the essence, for other deities would soon converge upon this realm, drawn by the scent of a fallen god. "Take everything divine you can find!" I commanded, a portal materializing beside me. Through it emerged a legion of Shedzu, ready to scour the remnants of Klaruth's realm for anything of value.
My gaze shifted to the believers, recognizing the presence of pure souls among them. Those who had not entirely subscribed to Klaruth's distorted views, individuals who had clung to a glimmer of purity in the midst of his tyranny. With a measured decision, I instructed, "And take all the pure souls here that agree to come. The rest shall be left to the incoming gods, who will descend upon this realm like scavengers."
In the midst of the aftermath, our efforts to collect the remnants of Klaruth's power were met with limited success. The realm he had ruled was not abundant in divine artifacts, but rather filled with abyssal relics and demon-summoning spells that had twisted the once-majestic realm into a domain of malevolence. Swiftly, we collected what we could, knowing that other divine beings would soon be drawn by the remnants of his downfall.
As the divine energy readings drew closer, we decided it was time to retreat. We passed back through the portal, leaving behind the desolation of Klaruth's realm. The transition brought us back to the vibrant and lively realm of my pantheon. The Shedzu greeted us with bows of respect before hastening to secure the relics and store the retrieved artifacts.
Hovering over our divine realm, I observed the gods' expressions as they took in the breathtaking scenery. Dragons from how to train your dragon, soared through the skies, their majestic forms creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Mysterious creatures roamed the lush grasslands, and colossal behemoths emerged from the oceans, showcasing the diversity of life that flourished here.
Among the wondrous sights were three awe-inspiring creatures: lion turtles from the Avatar world. These massive creatures, their lion-like heads towering above, were as colossal as mountains. Their presence was a testament to the power I held as a deity, as I had intervened to save them from extinction. The gods' astonishment was palpable, their exclamations punctuating the scene.
As we continued our journey toward the palace, the gods' gazes were drawn to a peculiar mirror-like portal adjacent to the room where they had been summoned. Peering through the glass, they witnessed a curious sight: armored Shedzu engaged in a fierce battle against a colossal owl within a vast library. An exasperated smile tugged at my lips; that persistent bird still refused to relinquish control of the library, despite my efforts.
The scene painted a picture of the multifaceted nature of the divine realm — a place where beauty and chaos coexisted, where battles were fought both in realms of grandeur and within the confines of a library. As we approached the palace, I reflected on the events that had transpired, aware that this was merely a chapter in the ongoing saga of the divine realm.
