Chapter 13: Calm Before the Storm

"Yo,Bro,wake up!" Denki shouted as he started to bang on Enel's door. "*yawn* Coming" Enel said groggily as he opened the door. "Yes?" Enel said as Denki was already dressed in casual clothes "come on,Jirou is waiting for you outside. Hurry and get dressed" Denki said as he ran down the stairs. "Jirou? Oh it's that girl I saved from the robot" Enel thought as he felt his heart flutter as he thought about her. "Alright,let's get dressed," Enel said as he opened his walking closet and brought out an outfit he had just bought recently. Enel wore a white t-shirt with a blue and white letterman jacket with custom lightning blue jordan 1's. "If we're just hanging out this should be fine" Enel said as he opened his window and jumped out. Enel flipped midair and landed on his feet,right in front of Jirou. "I'm here" Enel said as Jirou was shocked at his agility. "Wow,he is really cool" Jirou thought as Denki laughed, "so you decided to be mr.show off today" Denki said as Enel hopped in the driver seat of his car. "Alright,where are we trying to go?" Enel said as Jrou and Denki hopped in the car. "Let's go see a movie" Denki said as Enel looked at Jirou in the passenger seat "how about you?" Enel asked as Jirou thought about it "what about the music festival thats going on today,'ve always wanted to go since i was little so,if you wouldn't mind taking us there then" Jirou said as her voice got quieter as she spoke "alright,sorry lil bro,were going to the music festival" Enel said as Denki sighed. The car however,wouldn't start. "Give me a minute,she's a little sick today" Enel said as he walked to the front of his car "come on girl" Enel said as he opened the hood to see a Toyota badge on the engine cover. Enel then removed the engine cover to reveal the twin turbo'd RB 26 engine under it. "Everything looks in place,oh,i see now,the battery is dead. Thats an easy fix" Enel said as he put his finger tips on the battery and charged it by hand in a matter of seconds. Enel then put the engine cover back on and then put the hood back down as he went back into the car and started it with no problem. "There we go,put your seatbelts on though,this baby can hit around 195 - 210 mph and hits 0 - 60 in 2.5 seconds" Enel said as he pulled out of his parking spot and started to drive to the music festival. "Were coming up on the highway,prepare to tighten those seatbelts" Enel said as when he got onto the surprisingly empty highway he started to ease into the true speed of the car. "Wow,this thing is fast" Jirou said as Enel smiled "that's not the half of it" Enel said as he then shifted up to 6th gear and started to really move fast. "110,140,160,180,200,210!" Enel said as he slowly let off the gas and started to slowly apply the brakes "okay ,okay, i had my fun,the festival is in another 2 miles,were almost there" Enel said as Jirou looked mesmerized "that was so cool!" Jirou said as she unknowingly was holding on tight to Enel's hand. "Is she holding my hand? Don't say anything and blow this" Enel thought to himself as he arrived at the music festival's parking lot around 2 minutes later. "You two go on ahead,i'll find a parking spot" Enel said as Jirou let go of his hand and started to walk with Denki. "Wait, was I holding his hand the entire time" Jirou thought as she felt her face become red. Enel found a parking spot and turned off his car as he put his head on the steering wheel while blushing hard. "Ughhhh!" Enel let out as he felt his face become extremely red. "Okay,okay,calm yourself, let's go on ahead and catch up with them, '' Enel said to himself as he got out of his car and locked it. He then put two fingers to his head to sense the unique electric current of Denki so that he could find where Jirou was. "They should be together so if I find Denki,I'll find Jirou." Enel said as he walked for about 15 minutes until he found both of them. Jirou was encapsulated in the music as was cheering along with the crowd. "This is the happiest moment of my life!" Jirou thought as she smiled extremely hard and cheered loud. "She must really be into music, in any case it's good to see her happy. Along with Denki." Enel thought as he saw Denki crowd surfing. Enel recorded this and almost put his phone away until it rang. "Hello?" Enel said as he picked up the phone "well if it isn't Enel Volta,A.K.A Zeus. It's an honor to talk to you but I'm here for business,so I'll get to the point quickly. Rasha Gul needs you to get rid of someone. This is a direct order from him so there is no point in arguing. A man by the name of Seraphim,he's a pretty powerful hero,but considering your training and quirk,you should be able to take him down no problem. His quirk is called Soul,it's like your friend Bryce's quirk,but just even stronger and with more potential. If you fail to complete this then your punishment is assured to be painful and slow" the man said. "Understood,the task will be carried out by tonight" Enel said in a serious tone as he hung up the phone and sighed heavily. Hours passed as the festival ended at around 10:00 PM. "Alright you two, let's go" Enel said as he saw Denki sleeping soundly on one of the benches. Jirou shh'd him as Enel nodded quietly and smiled. Enel then picked up Denki and carried him on his back as he and Jirou walked to the car. "I had a lot of fun today,thank you for taking me here. I barely got to do much at home but practice violin and study. My parents are pretty strict but they let me have my fun once in a while though.'' Jirou said as she opened the back seat door as Enel put Denki in the seat and belted him up. They both got in the car as well as Enel began to drive Jirou home. "Lightning Copy '' Enel whispered as electricity came from his leg and shot off somewhere. This electricity was far enough away that it could turn into a physical copy of Enel and start the mission he was tasked with. The original Enel got near Jirou's house before Jirou told him to stop before he got to her house. "Go into that alley right there,I want to show you something," Jirou said as Enel looked confused. After doing so Jirou put her hand on his face and kissed him. "Thanks for taking me out today,i truly had an amazing time today" Jirou said as she then pulled back and looked out the window with a smile on the outside. Enel smiled back as he drove her to her house. Jirou got out of the car and walked halfway up the steps and waved as her parents opened the door and let her in. Her father walked down to talk to Enel,which had put a little bit of fear in Enel's heart. "Thank you for getting my baby girl home,we don't let her out often and especially not with a random boy,but today she and you have proved yourself responsible enough to handle things like this. I've never seen her walk into the house so happy before,so,thank you,and have a nice night" Her father said as Enel shook his hand before driving away
