- Habaki POV -
When I entered the room I was met with three pair of eyes set towards me, two boys and a girl.
''Hello, it's nice to meet you all.'' I said raising my hand in a relaxed gesture. I didn't bow like I had for the girl, it was normally only something I did to people older than me.
''Hello, it's nice to meet you too. My name is Iida Tenya from Somei Private Academy.'' He had walked up to me and did a full 90 degrees bow while talking in loud voice.
'What was it with blue haired people and talking funny' I thought, ''Takahashi Habaki, Mustafa Private High School.'' I responded back, trying to hold back a laugh. I looked towards the other two who hadn't said anything, the other boy who had double colored hair had taken his gaze of me and stared at something which I evidently couldn't see. The girl had kept her eyes on me and Iida's interaction. I gave her a short wave acknowledging her ''Takahasi Habaki.''
''Yaoyorozu Momo.'' She gave a short nod with her head as she introduced herself.
Looking around I didn't find any special seating plan and seeing that the window seats were still not taken I took my chance and sat down in the fourth row. Finally after so many years, I had a clear view of the outside.
It didn't take long for other people to come in, some introduced themselves some didn't. The most interesting thing so far had been when a blond kid had come in. His hair was spiked up all over the place and he looked almost irritated being here. It didn't take long for Iida and the blond kid to get in an argument, I didn't really listen, as I had just seen Kirishima enter the classroom. Instead of seeing his usual black hair I saw a bright red color and he had spiked it up not looking that much different to his favorite hero. He walked up to me and pointed at the hair with a grin.
''Now I look like a real hero.'' He said.
''Yeah... its definitely something.'' I answered with mild bewilderment laced in my voice.
''Hey hey, you two know each other?'' The new voice belonged to a boy with yellow hair and a single black streak. ''Ah I'm Kaminari Denki.''
''Kirishima Ejirou and this is Takahashi Habaki,'' Kirishima said while pointing at me, ''we went to middle school together.'' He answered the now named Kaminari.
Before continuing our conversation, a voice cut through the class.
''If you are here to make friends then go somewhere else.'' Some surprised noises was heard around the class. What looked like a yellow giant worm was outside the class door. The worm began to open and a man who looked like he hadn't slept in months got out of what now could be determined to be a sleeping bag. ''It took you 8 seconds to be quiet, we will have to work on that, time is limited. I'm your homeroom teacher Shota Aizawa,'' His voice sounded just as tired as he looked, ''put these on and meet me outside.'' He held out a training uniform, that was the same we had been sent some days earlier by the school.
With some quick scurrying the whole class made their way to the changing room. It was the first time I could get a look at everyone properly. There was a guy with a tail and someone with very interesting looking elbows. Remembering what our teacher had said, I didn't waste time changing clothes. He looked like someone you wouldn't want to be on the bad side with. Walking out to the grounds with Kirishima and Kaminari we saw our teacher waiting with a ball in his hands. When everyone had gathered around him he spoke in the same tired voice as before.
''Ok, you are going to take a quirk assessment test.''
''Ehhhh?'' Was the resounding answer from most of the class.
''But what about orientation?'' It was a brown haired girl with pink blushes.
''You are in the hero class, you don't have time to do such frivolous activities. Well as I was saying, you are going to take a series of test, and unlike the test you took in middle school, you are going to use your quirks.'' He then looked at the spiked blonde. ''Bakugo, you finished first in the practical exam, what was your softball throw record in middle school?''
''67 meters'' Came the response from the blonde. I internally whistled, 67 meter throw was nothing to scoff at for a middle schooler. So that was the guy who got one more point than me.
''Try to throw this with your quirk.'' Aizawa said and tossed the ball to Bakugo.
Bakugo walked into a circle that had been drawn on the ground. Looking at the ball, his half irritated half bored face turned into one of manic excitement. Winding his arm back, he threw the ball.
''DIE!!!'' The ball blasted away with a big explosion from his hands. This time I let out an audible whistle. That was one hell of a quirk. Him screaming die didn't really seem to affect anyone except a small green haired boy. I looked at him, it was obvious he extremely nervous, maybe his quirk didn't suit physical tests. Looking away from him I saw our teacher holding up a device which showed the number 705 meters. Damn that's far.
''Oh this looks so fun.'' I looked to the voice and saw Mina skipping from side to side with excitement. However I felt a cool chill on my neck and looked back to Aizawa. He stood with his head down so darkness covered his eyes, while he had an almost insane grin.
''Fun you say, the person who comes in last place and shows the least potential will be expelled as punishment.''
Shock, that was one word that could describe the group of students standing outside. I knew hero school was going to be harder and tougher than other schools, but wasn't this a bit over the top. I didn't voice my concerns, it hadn't gone well for anyone yet. But it seemed some couldn't hold in their shock. The brown haired girl from before spoke up again.
''Isn't this unfair, its our first day?''
''Japan is filled with unfairness, natural disasters, people who take advantage of other people for own gain, selfish villains. Unfairness can manifest in forms you haven't thought about, such as unequal treatment, discrimination, favoritism, or exclusion based on personal characteristics like race, gender, disability and things you were born with or have developed because of your quirk. Addressing unfairness requires awareness, empathy, and action to promote fairness, equity, and justice for all. That is what U.A will require of you by putting you through one hardship after the other. So come with all your might and overcome this obstacle.'' Aizawa finished his speech looking at us. Dead quiet. However it seemed to have made an understanding that what we were going to do was serious and not just games.
For some reason we didn't start with the softball throw, it confused me but it is what it is. Our first test was a 50 meter sprint, perfect for me. Aizawa took 2 students out at a time to race. Preparing I focused on my breath. I could feel the air inside me. I focused on the air and made it go to my leg muscles. Then it was my turn, I looked to my right and only saw some floating clothes. Well that didn't matter right now. Focusing on the end, I got into position. The countdown came from a robot, and as soon as I heard the bang I blasted off. Just as I started i released a bit of air from my legs to get en extra boost, but not enough to where I couldn't control it. Running across the line i looked at my time, 3 seconds. I was pretty sure that was the fastest yet. The rest of the test were pretty straight forward, and I got some pretty good scores in all of them.
At last it was the ball throw. There was a mix of scores, and then I was handed the ball. Looking towards Aizawa I gave a nod towards my sword asking if I could use it. He nodded, that made things a bit easier. Yeah I lost some of the power when I used my sword, but that was better than flying in to the unsuspecting audience. Aizawa had said to come with all of our might so that was what he was going to get. Taking out my sword I closed my eyes and focused all of my energy into the sword. I was charging up to do what I did to the 0-pointer, but this time I had a lot more energy. The sword began glowing and the grass under me began to rustle. Opening my eyes I looked at the ball in my left hand. With a single motion I threw the ball high into the air.
Putting my left leg forward I grounded myself as hard as I could. Now having 2 hands on the sword, I poured all of my energy into it. The glow became brighter and you could hear the wind circling around the sword. As the ball fell back towards the ground I got ready by getting in a stance not unlike a baseball player. When the ball reached the perfect height for me to hit, I swung my sword with all my power, and as I heard the contact I released the build up wind. The powerful wind shot the ball away from our sights with incredible speed. The ground under me had cracked because of the build up pressure. All in all the sequence took about 7 seconds. Aizawa held up the device, 937 meters.
''Very good, but you need to be able to use you quirk without your sword.'' I nodded telling him I had heard him. As I walked back to the group many eyes were on me, I had gotten the highest score yet.
''That was so manly.'' Kirishima exclaimed when I got back to him and Kaminari.
''How did you do that?'' Kaminari asked with curiosity written all over his face.
''I will tell you after we finish.'' I said, hoping that it would satisfy him. I wanted to see the rest of our class taking the test. My record didn't last long as the brown haired girl had sent the ball to outer space and had gotten infinite, what a scary quirk. At last it was the green haired boy, from what I had overheard his name was Midoriya or Deku. I had been right in my assessment of him. He hadn't used his quirk once this entire time, and gotten last in almost every test. Now he didn't look nervous but determined. As he pulled back his arm a green and red glow came from his arm. Now that was an interesting development. As he swung his arm it seemed that the ball inevitably was going to go further than almost anyone's had yet.

Hello everyone, hope you are doing good.
Soooo.... yeah here you go. Sorry for not uploading but I haven't really haven't had the time recently and I didn't know what to write. So this chapter is almost like every other when it comes to the quirk assessment test. Hopefully that will light a spark so I can write some more chapters. Maybe there will be a chapter out in some days or maybe a week, I'm not really sure.
And with that have a good day, evening, night or whenever you are seeing this.
