Ch. 30 - Reunited

While Matilda left behind to manage the affairs of Dressrosa, their new Amusement Park that would be opened next month, Doflamingo has set off to fetch his Best Friends and the friends, he made.

He turned on the engine of his brand new car that he recently brought, a pure black Porsche 911 Carrera RS.

As he drove his car, Doflamingo was contemplating on how would be transfer so many animals back to his zoo without anyone noticing or knowing.

He can't just hire someone to go and fetch hundreds of animals, be it dangerous or not from a forest without someone or the Government's permission.

After all, he doesn't own that forest, and if he just casually snatched so many animals there at the same time, not only will Shield notice but they would also attach suspicion on him about how he could gather so many animals under him without causing a chaos.

So, Doflamingo have to make a plan to transfer all of them without causing much ruckus.

It took Doflamingo a whole day just to reach the forest, exactly on where he exited and was given a ride by Stan Lee, himself.

Then, Doflamingo got out of the car and went deep inside the forest, as for his car? Although it is expensive, but once his Dressrosa Amusement Park officially opens, millions of dollars will be resting above the palm of his hands, and a mere $314,000 won't matter to him anymore. And besides, he's the Kingpin, he has all the Mafia under him and with just one word from him, all of them would give him their cars, be it expensive or not.

Stopping himself from his monologue, Doflamingo focused on the path that he is taking. He tried his best to trace back to where he went out the last time he was here.

"I remember drawing a cross on a tree around here." Doflamingo said to himself as he searched for that tree and soon found it.

With it as a signal, Doflamingo walked forward, exactly where the cross is facing.

Soon, he came upon countless trees with the same mark on their trunks.

"I'm near." Doflamingo said as he kept on walking forward, while he notices that the animals around seems to be scarce, as if they've gone extinct.

"What the hell did Garfield do?" Doflamingo got his curiousity emerge, so he fastened his steps and soon, he was already speeding like a bullet, dodging trees easily as if it was a normal thing to him.

Soon, he finally came upon a huge motherfucking gate made of woods and stones.

"What the fuck happened while I was gone?" Doflamingo was flabbergasted as he looked up and saw various animals on top of the gate, looking down at him.

"The king has arrived!" A Gorilla, holding a spear, beated his chest before calling out to someone from inside the gate.

Soon, the gate was opened and Doflamingo was met with different kinds of animals, looking at him curiously.

In the center, Garfield jumped at him, full of grin.

Doflamingo smiled at seeing him, and brought out the shoe carved rock and brought it near to Garfield, who was biting the same shoe carved rock.

"Welcome back, Doffy!" Garfield smiled and jumped at Doflamingo before continuing.

"So, did I do a good job?" He asked.

"You do know that you just made a civilization made up of animals." Doflamingo still didn't get over the shock that he had.

This is both amazing and a bad thing. It is amazing as this shows that each animals could cooperate with each other as long as there is an excellent leader, leading them.

'This means that animals aren't inferior to humans, it just that animals doesn't have someone to stand on the middle of all kinds of animals that will lead them all.' Doflamingo could see some Gorilla's carrying heavy some heavy materials like logs of woods and such, while smaller animals like squirrels were gathering foods from outside the gate.

However, the bad thing about this is that the Government won't take lightly of this and might ruin the harmony that is established by Garfield for fear of animals rising to stand on equal grounds with the humans.

'I can't let the Government know about this.' Doflamingo squinted his eyes as he realized how dangerous it is for the Government to get a wind of this.

"Garfield, I need to talk to you in private." Doflamingo seriously looked at Garfield.

*Gulp"

Garfield gulp in fear, afraid that he did something that his friend doesn't like.

"Don't worry, I'm not mad, I just need to talk to you about something." Noticing Garfield's fear, Doflamingo warmed up and explained to him in a calm manner.

"Okay. Let's go to my home." Garfield sighed in relief before nodding his head and walked back to his quarters.

His home wasn't that much, as it is only a normal wooden hut but much more bigger than the average.

Both Garfield and him went inside and sat on the ground.

"Garfield, you did a good job. But, we can't let this civilization last this long. If you want to build your kingdom, we need to do it far away from humans, somewhere where they won't find it and bother it." Doflamingo said to him then proceeded to explain to Garfield about the bad news if the Government caught a wind of this.

"I haven't thought about that. But I can't let my fellow friends be away from their environment. Besides, aren't you bringing us to your Zoo?" Garfield also thought about what Doflamingo said.

"Yes, but I didn't expect you to make so many friends, so I can't take everyone here. And, you should also find a successor to lead this civilization in your stead, but not now, we should find a way to change the location of this animal kingdom. So, I'm gonna take some animals here and don't worry, I won't take then away from their families." Doflamingo assured him before Garfield agreed. Doflamingo then continued.

"I'll also take you with me, so go find someone you trust to lead your kingdom first, meanwhile, I'll look for a place where we can transfer everyone here to another place." Doflamingo said as it was Garfield's turn to speak.

"I have someone I trust! Anyways, I'll introduce you to him." Garfield stood on all fours before walking out of the hut, followed by Doflamingo.

"So, how did you managed to build all this, in just a year." Doflamingo asked, he was curious on how fast and efficient Garfield worked.

"Oh, I just beat all the other territory lord's like the Coyotes. Before I knew it, I have established my own position in this forest." Garfield shrugged his shoulders as if it was just a normal thing to do.

"So, you used strength, huh?" Doflamingo seemed to have found an enlightment from Garfield's words.

He's right, as long as you have the strength, rules and laws doesn't matter, as that is the true nature of everything in this world. Strength rules the weak. Back then that is how the world works, until the weaks established some kind of Government so they could rule the weak and the strong.

To Doflamingo, this is bullshit. The current Government now is full of trashes and corruption. The government doesn't truly protect its own country and people, right now, they just wanted to be looked up to by its own people, they wanted their names to be etched on the annals of history so they manipulate the people of their so called good deeds, so that their doings on the history would be remembered by the future generation and they won't be forgotten.

'Is this what Doflamingo thinks about the Government?' Doflamingo thought to himself as he just realized that he was dissing the Government and it feels like he was not thinking as himself but Doflamingo.

'Sigh, let's just forget about this. Even If I wanted to conquer the world, with my current strength, not to mention, there's still some strong figures like the Ancient One and I'm sure she won't like me ruling the world like a madman. And besides, I still have a common enemy, Hydra.' Doflamingo said to himself as his eyes grow cold at the mention of Hydra.

Those pesky pests are still bothering him.

Before he went on a trip here, an agent even dared to break in their house and probably tried to search for the Super Soldier Serums.

Luckily, Doflamingo and Matilda was already near their home and Doflamingo has already sensed the Agent inside the house using his Observation Haki.

And before the Agent could escape with the Super Soldier Serums, Doflamingo has already intercepted him and successfully retrieved the Serums.

He then told Matilda to read the guy's mind and found some information from him.

He was now under Hydra's no.1 kill/capture at all costs list. And The Winter Soldier would be sent after him after Howard Stark is dealt with.

Fortunately, he also uncovered the date on when will the Winter Soldier strike again on Howard Stark.

With this, he could curry another favor from him and maybe he could trust Howard Stark on building him a base of operations on his Warehouse. Though it is a bit risky as it would expose his secret base, but Howard is already old, and he would make sure that he won't tell a tale about his secret base.

"There they are!" Doflamingo's train of thoughts were interrupted by Garfield's shout as Doflamingo turned to look at where Garfield was looking and he was shocked at what he saw.

An Ice Bear, a Panda, and a Grizzly Bear, all stacked up on each other with smiles on their faces, though the smile of the Ice Bear seemed to be monotonous.

"They are?" They seemed very familiar to Doflamingo so he asked Garfield.

"The three of them are brothers. I found them on a road, so I came and saved them. They actually named themselves. That's Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear." Garfield introduced them.
