Maureen blinked her eyes several times, wondering how they could recover Aurora. Returning home to inform Lilian that someone had taken her daughter due to their resemblance was out of the question.
There were whispers about Allen Rowan of Mxcel company being a private individual who rarely made public appearances. How did he come across the little girl and take her away?
Ryan checked his watch and dialed a particular person's mobile number. He had Aiden's contact information from when he had treated him a few months earlier. Although they hadn't kept in touch much, they both had each other's numbers.
"Hello, Doctor Ryan. you remembered me today?" Aiden answered the phone while he was in a club with his girlfriend.
The venue was filled with noise, and the music was pounding in Ryan's ears. He knew Aiden enjoyed clubbing and social gatherings, although he didn't have a specific girlfriend. Aiden would mingle with anyone, taking a piece of their essence before moving on, a stark contrast to his elder brother.
"How could I possibly forget you? You're one of my favorite patients, and I'm eager to become your personal doctor soon. Anyway, Aiden, that's not why I called. I need you to do me a favor," Ryan said, speaking more calmly now. He sensed that Aiden had left the noisy area and retreated to a quieter, more secluded spot.
"Yeah, Ryan, you mentioned you need my help? What do you need?" Aiden inquired, taking a sip from the glass of alcohol in his hand.
"I must find your elder brother immediately. It's important that I meet him right now. He has something that belongs to me... or rather, someone," Ryan declared with urgency in his voice.
Aiden furrowed his brow in deep thought. Knowing that his brother was currently overseas and not due back until the next day, he pondered how he could assist Ryan in this pressing matter.
"My brother is currently out of the country. You'll need to wait until he returns tomorrow, Ryan," Aiden replied, his girlfriend Katie approaching him and wrapping her arm around his waist in a demanding manner.
Katie, Aiden's current girlfriend, couldn't help but wonder why he was taking a call away from her. A fleeting thought crossed her mind – was he speaking with another woman?
"Your brother is in town, Aiden. We were at the same restaurant earlier, but he left with a child belonging to a friend I brought along," Ryan elaborated, a hint of frustration tinged in his tone.
Aiden furrowed his brow. Allen is already in town? He couldn't comprehend his brother's actions, as his movements were often unpredictable.
"Are you certain, Ryan?" Aiden inquired. Although Allen was his brother, he had just learned about his arrival from someone else. Aiden couldn't easily dismiss Ryan's words because Allen had a history of such behavior.
"Definitely," Ryan responded, and Aiden instructed him to wait. He would call back after speaking with his brother.
Maureen let out an audible sigh. She couldn't fathom what would have happened if Ryan didn't have Aiden's mobile number. How could they reach Allen?
After settling the bill, Ryan informed Maureen that they needed to depart. They exited the restaurant together and climbed into his car.
Ryan suggested they wait at his apartment until Aiden contacted them. Speculating that Aiden was at a club, he didn't anticipate an immediate response.

Upon arriving at the hospital owned by the Rowan family, Allen was warmly greeted, and the nurses conducted themselves professionally.
Allen rarely visited the hospital unless he had important matters to attend to. Holding the little girl's hand, he made his way towards the doctor's office.
"Hello there, little one," the senior nurse on duty greeted the young girl. She was unaware that the eldest master had children.
"Good evening, Sur," Mrs. Katherine greeted.
"How are you doing, Mrs. Katherine?" Allen responded curtly with a charming grin.
He seemed to be in a cheerful mood that evening. Otherwise, he would have simply nodded and walked away. His presence exuded an aura that made people naturally show deference when they encountered him.
"This little girl looks just like you, Mr. Allen," Mrs. Katherine remarked, to which Allen offered a faint smile before heading off.
Many employees waved at Aurora, noting her striking resemblance to Allen, albeit as a young female version. Additionally, she was simply adorable.
At that moment, Allen's phone rang, and his assistant, Cooper, handed him the phone.
"Your brother is calling," Cooper informed him.
"Aiden," Allen said as soon as he answered the phone. He had not informed Aiden that he was already in the country.
Aiden was genuinely taken aback by the revelation that his brother was in town yet had failed to inform him about his whereabouts.
"So, where are you right now?" Aiden inquired with a mix of surprise and curiosity.
"I'm currently at RW Hospital," Allen responded before abruptly ending the call, leaving Aiden with a furrowed brow and a hint of confusion. If it weren't for that phone call, Aiden wouldn't have had any inkling that his brother was in town.
After a brief moment of contemplation, he made a quick decision to head to the hospital immediately to check on his brother.
With a nonchalant demeanor, Aiden casually dropped his glass into a nearby waste bin, showing little concern for returning it to the bar or holding onto it any longer.
He then made his way towards the car park, ready to leave. Katie caught up with him, matching his long strides, just as he opened the car door and slipped inside.
Katie then reached into his shirt and playfully, smiling seductively at him.
"Which hotel are we heading to, baby?"
