"Mm..mm," Allen grunted, his faint smile evident.
"You're both just pretending. I can't stand you both!" Aurora shouted childishly, waving her arms and legs in frustration. She attempted to leave but stumbled after taking just two steps.
"Allen, are you going to stand by and watch our daughter endure this? Why don't you join in the charade and help her get better?" Lilian yelled.
The servants were shocked. Did she speak to the eldest master so harshly? They could barely recall his first name, but this woman not only knew it but also shouted it at him.
"I refuse to be deceitful. If you've brought her up with lies so far, I won't allow it to continue. This charade ends now. We're heading to the hospital. I can't pretend any longer. Both you and I are aware that our love is nonexistent. Why the deception? It's becoming unbearable," Allen said through gritted teeth.
